Error message on LR5 CC startup

Same problem in LR4 and in LR5: On startup, I get a long error message in computer code. The message appears over the LR screen as I last used it. I cannot do anything in LR because of the error message--not even choose File/Quit. I must Force Quit the application to do anything at all on my Mac, which is running OS 10.7.5.
Yesterday I upgraded to LR5 CC and was able to import my catalog from LR4 and use the app. I shut down normally and turned off the computer. Today I turned it on, opened LR5, and had the problem. And Adobe provides no weekend support!?!?
Help!

More info: The error message begins with:
An internal error has occurred.
html passed to JSON:decode(): <IDOCTYPE html PUBLIC*"-/W3C/DTD XHTML 1.0 Transistional//EN""http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
The error message continues; it is so long that the code extends beyond the bottom of my screen.

  • Error message on Windows 2000 startup, "Tcmsvr.dll, File is missing"

We get the same error messages three times on Windows 2000 startup on some of our companys computers: "Tcmsvr.dll, File is missing". The computers are Tecra s1 models.
Which Toshiba driver is this related to?

I have checked the Toshiba driver page and it seems that the common modules for Tecra S1 are not available.
Anyway, the Tcmsvr.dll file could be also a part of Toshiba console. Its very difficult to detect it.
The Toshiba console is available on the driver page.
    It's worth a try.

  • Error message in LR5

i have already uninstalled and re-installed ACC, PS CC and LR5 and am still getting the message "An error occured when attempting to change modules" when opening up LR5. i cant do anything in LR5. any suggestions?

nikonjedimaster, Did you had Lightroom 4 installed on this machine before installing Lightroom 5 and Did you try to upgrade your catalog from Lightroom 4 to Lightroom 5?
Lets reset Lightroom(LR) preferences and then check. http://help.adobe.com/en_US/lightroom/using/WS82DA0B67-FA83-4c71-84B9-6F248A97FBE8.html
In case of same issue, create a new Catalog and launch Lightroom:
Quit Lightroom(not sure if you are able to open it at all after that error).
Press Option(Mac) or Alt(Win) and Launch LR5, you will get the recent catalog list.
If you see any other LR5 catalog, select it and click Open.
Else, click on "Create a New Catalog". Type the catalog name and click on Create.
    It will launch your LR5.
Check if your LR works fine now or you still get any error message.
If that works then, its an issue with your catalog.
This article will tell you, how to combine catalogs or move photos from one catalog to another. http://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom/kb/catalog-faq-lightroom.html
    Hope that helps.

  • Error message in Terminal upon startup?

Hi, I'm a new Mac user.
I was installing a few things on my new MacBook Pro (XCode, XQuartz, X11, and Homebrew) when I noticed some funky error message that I get whenever I open Terminal.
It says: -bash: export: `/usr/local/sbin:/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/opt/X11/bin': not a valid identifier.
I am still getting used to my Mac after a decade of Windows, and I have no clue what this error means or how to fix it.  Could anyone enlighten me?

    Hi there,
Sorry for just jumping in on this convo but it seems more relevant to my issue and I don't think creating a new topic would be advised.
    I have a similar issue. Whenever I open a new shell session / window I get the following output;
Last login: Fri Aug  8 14:24:02 on ttys000
    Process name
    Warren-MacBook:etc warren$ Process name
    -bash: Process: command not found
    Warren-MacBook:etc warren$
The line which says -bash: Process: command not found is whats bugging me.
    I tried to editing the following files;
    sudo vi /.bash_profile
    sudo vi /Users/warren/.profile
None of them have any reference to a startup command which invokes a process.
    I have mlocate installed and when I run;
    locate .bash
I only get the above two files.
I have also looked at cron, and there are no jobs added so I'm really in the dark as to how to resolve this. If you are able to assist it would be much appreciated.

  • Getting "process android.process.acore has stopped" error message on S4 at startup.

OTA upgrade to Kitkat was successful, however, i now have the error message "unfortunately the process android.process.acore has stopped" at startup. cant make or receive phone calls, also cannot access apps due to error message being constantly displayed.

Verizon gave a solution above in an earlier thread. So there is guidance much as it is.
You have researched this issue and yet admitting not just on Verizon but other carriers as well you then feel hesitant to renew and get a device from Verizon. That "Bug" was done to all providers.
I always look to the Android Forums or XDA to see if solutions or fixes have been listed. I like to also Google it and many times the solutions are found.
Verizon tech support on the phone may have an answer 1-800-922-0204 or *611 from your mobile device. Verizon will only give you what they have as a possible solution on their database.

  • Error message with LR5 when exporting files

    Hello,
I have this error at the end of all my pictures exports :
une erreur interne s'est produite : Win32 API error 2 ("Le fichier spécifié est introuvable.") when calling SehllExecuteExW from AgWorkspace.shellExecute
Nevertheless, all my pictures exports are successful.
I've re-installed LR5, but the error message is still there.
Who knows how to get rid of this error message ?
Thank you in advance for your help.

If it possible you have any plugins installed / enabled that you carried forward? One thing to check might be to disable all the plugins and do an export and see if you still get the message to rule out a plug-in causing the message instead of Lightroom.
Does it do it for all exports? Have you tried different presets?

Click on OK to terminate the program
Click on CANCEL to debug the program
Either of the above options terminates Mozilla - neither option fixes the problem - however Mozilla works as long as the error message remains on the desktop.

We cannot know. You are not offering any system information nor actually telling what program you use and what you do when the crash occurs.

  • Error Message: Your mac osx startup disk has no more space available for application memory.

    Hi everyone:
    I have a 2010 27" imac.  Dual Core i3, 3.2 GHz and 8GB of 1333MHz DDR3 RAM, and a 90% empty 500 GB Hard Drive.  Running Snow Leopard 10.6.6
I have received a message intermittently since I got the iMac.  The Force Quit menu comes up and says "Your mac osx startupdisk has no more space available for application memory".  Sometimes there are a few applications open.  Sometimes none.  Whenever I look in the Activity Monitor Utility I see 2 or 3 gigs of RAM still available for use, and lots of hard drive space.
Im not sure why I'm getting the message, nor what to do to rectify it.  Quitting applications, like it suggests doesn't seem to help.
I am grateful for any advice.
    Lauren

    Hey Lauren.
First of all you do have some software updates you should be doing. 10.6.7 came out a few weeks ago. Sometimes doing all of your software updates resolve issues such as this.
To check for software updates click the Apple and then Software updates.
As this issue is someone broad, I would test one of the articles below to narrow down your issue.

  • Im so new it hurts, I keep getting an error message when trying to startup

PLEASEEEE help me I didnt buy an ipod for nothing (I hope). I think I downloaded Itunes awhile back before I had an iPod for some strange reason. Anyway, after trying to install v9.0 of iTunes several times, realized that all things Apple needed to be uninstalled and removed, I did so. I made sure EVERYTHING was gone. I went into programs and Sytem32 all things on my C drive even bonjour and everything, trust me its all gone....... When I finally get things installed I get the quicktime icon as well as the Itunes icon on my desktop. When I click on Itunes it says "Apple Application Support not Found, Error 2" when I click on the quicktime icon it says "The application has failed to start because its side by side configuration is incorrect. Please see event log for more details." Cant find event log and even if I had Im sure it wouldnt give me the RIGHT details.
I have been sweating over a hot computer for 3 hours now. (not literally) but really 3 hours.......PLEASE please please help me

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
    iTunes
    Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
    Bonjour
    Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.
    Please note:
Some users may need to follow all the steps in whichever of the following support documents applies to their system. These include some additional manual file and folder deletions not mentioned above.

  • Premiere Pro CS4 won't open. Receiving Error message...

When I try to open Premiere Pro CS4, the program doesn't open but I receive the Error message below instead:
LoadLibraryEx Startup.dll failed with error 999: Error performing inpage operation.
Does anyone know what this means or how I can fix it aside from reinstalling the software?  Thanks.
    Yoey

Thank you for that info. I actually just reinstalled the program only to have another error occur. Apparently that when you install Premier, you must also install a bunch of other perhipheral software including After Effects Third Party Content. There was an error with that but Premiere worked fine, but After Effects wouldn't start. Then I checked for updates and everything seems to be working fine. Not even sure if that Third Party Content is working because my laptop is not powerful enough to run After Effects effectively anyways. But thanks again for your response. I will defenitely keep that in mind if I ever have any more problems.

  • Any experience with a Bogus Error Message?

    Happy New Year everyone,
My computer started displaying the message "An internal error occured. Please contact to our support team." on each boot-up yesterday. Since the message includes spelling and syntax errors, and does not include a logo of any sort (looking for either Microsoft or Toshiba) I think it is bogus, and possibly malicious. Any experience with this?? Thanks. My computer I.D. and stats follow.

    Dear Jerry and Felix
I realize as I post this, that your question is over a year old (12/2009), yet it has continued to haunt several folks into this year (1/2011)
I have spent the last two days diagnosing the same error on another laptop.  The laptop is an HP running Vista SP2.  From my research, this error is not OS specific nor hardware specific.  I have to give all of the credit to Jerry who posted on this error with his recommendation to start the troubleshooting on the Startup tab and un-checking all the items.  I followed his advice and eventually through discrete selection, I found what I believe is the culprit application that is generating this error message.  In the Startup Tab, I found a startup Item named “Driver Access” by Manufacturer ‘Driver Assure Corp’.  I found that this application when NOT included in the Startup (Un-checking the selection), that when I restarted the laptop, the popup error did not occur.   To confirm, I allowed this application to be included in the Startup (Re-checked the selection) and restarted the laptop and the error message appeared again.
Though this post may be irrelevant for you at this time,  I felt it was worth a reply to possbily help someone else caught in this dilemna.
Thanks again Jerry for your recommendation.  I can understand why you are a MVP support person.

  • Error message application memory

I'm getting an error message that says the startup disk has not enough space available for applications.  What's wrong here?  It has lots of memory.

    Memory is RAM.
Startup disk is the HD and is called "storage".
Just needed to get the terminaology straight.
The OS (and thus all applications) will use "free space" on the HD for several processes that you do not really need to know are happening.  But yo need to leave enough free space on the HD for operations.
You should leave 30 GB free at all times.  Some say 10%-15%, but if you are running a 1 TB disk, 15 % is 150 GB -- most of which could be used beter.
You need to get an external disk, and start moving files to it (moving, not just copying).
If you wait too long, the system will not even be able to boot.
