Error message on my video after Publishing.

When Publishing my video to HTML 5/SWF, in the end result I get an error message "...unable to acquire LMS API, content may not play properly and results may not be recorded..." How do I fix this?

This error message would normally appear if you have LMS reporting turned on but you're trying to test your content from your local hard drive or somewhere else that is NOT from an LMS web server.
So to fix it, either turn off LMS reporting and republish, or upload to your LMS and test from there. (You don't really need the LMS reporting turned on while you're developing the content. Just turn it on when ready to publish finally for the LMS.)

getting error message "cannot prepare project for publishing (-50)" and, subsequently, it won't publish the bloody thing. I have publsihed many videos previous to this one so I have no idea waht is going on.

Can there be any external hard disks - if so How is/are it/they formatted ? Must be Mac OS Extended (hfs) if used for Video.
UNIX/DOS/FAT32/Mac OS Exchange - works for most but not for VIDEO.

• in what format ? .jpg, .bmp, .tif, else ?

I fixed the problem.. but it was very, very strange. I had a very long section for credits and set the line spacing to 1.0.. for some reason this caused it. I removed it, and it worked fine. I put it back, and I couldn't preview or play the video.
I don't know why that could cause that big of a problem, but it did..

I have Vista, recently switched from Internet Explorer to FireFox 3.6-. Since switching over, it can't download alot of versions/updates like Adobe Flash: It error messages: "INSTALLER WILL CONTINUE AFTER CONFLICTING MOZILLA FIREFFOX IS CLOSED".
Most pics blocked on sites/programs. I can't open some programs that Explorer opens. I would sure appreciate any help!!!

For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
If the advice above doesn't resolve things you could try this alternate version:
iTunes 12.1.0.71 for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) - itunes64setup.exe (2015-01-28)
which is a 64-bit installer for the 32-bit version of the core application, similar to previous 64-bit releases. Or roll back to the previous build:
iTunes 12.0.1.26 for Windows (32-bit) - iTunesSetup.exe (2014-10-16)
iTunes 12.0.1.26 for Windows (64-bit) - iTunes64Setup.exe (2014-10-16)

Error message when I try to publish

I created a duplicate layout and named it WebHelpInternal". I generated without a problem but I'm receiving the following error message when I try to publish. "Publishing has been cancelled. The system cannot find the path specified." Why am I getting this message? What can I do so that I can publish this SSL?

You are saying the Publish works fine for the layout before you duplicated it?
To my knowledge, the layout settings should simply duplicate. Including the publishing destination path. I would then expect that it wouldn't matter which layout you were using, as the Publishing destination would then be the same.
Can you post a screen capture of your Publish settings? Basically it sounds like somehing has changed with your publishing destination. Hard to say what.

Updating the Message priorities in AQ after publishing ?

I would like to know updating the message priorities in AQ after publishing the messages to AQ through Oracle JMS is a good approach ?.

Setup an AQ with CLOB Payload.
In Istudio, setup a custom data type that has a string value. When you are setting up the event, enter a field valled Payload, for the field type choose the data type you created.
That's it. You can use a CLOB datatype to pass messages through AQ's. We actually use this all the time.

We are fellow users here on these user-to-user forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support nor Apple.
What have you tried to fix it ? Have you tried closing the Videos app via the iPad's multitasking bar and seeing if it plays properly when you re-open then app ? Have you tried a soft-reset of your iPad ? If neither of those fix it then are you in a country where films can be redownloaded (assuming that it's not a rental) ? If you are then delete it from the Videos app and redownload it via the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app.
If you can't redownload it (e.g. if it's a rental) then try the 'report a problem' page to contact iTunes Support : http://reportaproblem.apple.com

Apple tv error message "the selected video could not be played. the format was not recognized"

my apple tv has started displaying error message "the selected video could not be played. the format was not recognized" on all my movies. i have never had a problem with it before. please help.

It seems that your Apple TV may be unable to see your movies, where are your movies kept, have you recently moved them, have you done anything else that might be related.

Unable to publish projects with inserted video - error message The Flash video can not be loaded

I've created a project in Captivate 6 with two slides that have inserted videos in them
Both the videos were created in Captivate 6 by publishing those projects as mp4 videos
They play fine in the previews but when publishing I get the error saying the Flash video can not be loaded for both of those slides and in the output files the area for the video is blank.
I have checked that the videos are not open anywhere else as I saw on a previous post this was the issue but the only place they are in use is in the project I am trying to publish.
Below are my settings and the error message
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Your screenshot indicates you are publishing to a folder on a network drive.
Have you:
Verified whether or not the video file exists at the published folder location? (It should ideally be sitting in the same folder as the SWF that calls it.)
Verified that the folder location is set up as a trusted location in your Flash Global Security settings?

Error message when importing video

I receive the following error message when trying to import .flv file in Captivate 6:
I tried restarting the project several times, as well as creating new flash file, with no luck. This is only a 3-slide project with the video embedded on a slide, and will publish as SCORM.

Hi all Thanks for the rapid response. However I have sort of found the problem but not the solution. I tried loading direct from the card but that failed in the same way. So I had a think what had changed and it was only one thing. It has always worked before because I was using my XP desktop machine. I am now using a W7 laptop. So I went back to XP and hey presto, it worked. SO what does that mean? Any ideas?? Only obvious difference is the OS. In answer to why I am loading from Photoshop. I have loaded 150 video clips from the card from a compact camera.( Been on safari!) I am using PS to sort and tag for various things, then send one group to PE . I ended up that route because they loaded into PS and not PE. So in summary:- I cannot load either directly from card or via PS, video clips into PE on W7, but I can on XP. I can load same into PS and view OK in PS on W7. In case you need further info, but I suspect its a windows issue? OS=W7, PE V7, PSV7, On the W7 PC it says... BIT rate=705kps!,Sample Rate=44khz,Channel count =1 Says image is avi but I thought it was mpeg Nothing else running Its a big fast empty machine, you could have the numbers if you really want but I don't think its relevant Sorry its abit long . Error message when adding video to premiere pro, please help!

Every time I try and add a video to premiere pro I get an error message "There was an error decompressing audio or video." I made the video in After effects and it plays just fine but I wanted to add sound to it in premiere pro. The file is mpeg movie, I can get more info if needed, just let me know. I am not very experienced at all in adobe but i'm learning so if someone could please help, that'd be awesome? P.S i'm using a MAC

I've never visited Paris but it is on my list.
I don't believe the 10.4.4 Update had anything to do with this. I also have a .Mac account and I didn't experience any problems sending with any of my accounts and different SMTP servers after installing the Update.
Something to try.
Go to the SMTP server settings for the .Mac SMTP server and in the Server Port field, enter 587 in place of 25 and when finished, select OK to save the changed setting.
Test if this resolves the problem.
Having the SSL warning message is odd if Use SSL is not selected for the SMTP server and if using 587 as the server port doesn't resolve the problem, this may be a Mail.app preference file problem which is the file that stores all account settings.

Error message while trying video and audio chat.

I have tiger 10.4.11 and tried to video chat with leopard, without success. Writing is ok. However, my friend on leopard was capable to chat with another friend, so the issue is with me. Now I remember that I tried to set up a video chat with amsn, without success too.
The error log, only the interesting part ( ) is at the bottom. I tried to
1) desactivate the firewall
2) activate and set up the following ichat ports:5060, 5190, 5297, 5298, 5678, 16384-16403
3) I tried the following settings with quicktime: automatic or T1/intranet/LAN 1,5Mbps
I have a wireless modem, with an encrypted connexion. I have a PC, connected on the same modem, and with it I had no issue with the webcam or having a audio conversation with skype. Therefore, I deducted that it was not my modem, but rather imac...
Any guess?

Receiving an error message when viewing video locally on iPhone.

Hey all,
When I attempt to open a particular video stored on my iPhone I receive the following message: "The requested URL was not found on this server". (this appears even before hitting the play button. When the play button is pressed, nothing happens. Acts as if my click on the play button is bring ignored). This video is 00:01:20 in length (unsure of uncompressed file size) and I am using an iPhone 4S 16GB w/plenty (5+ GB) of free space.
This video was recorded from my iPhone and was playing on my iPhone just fine previously. What has changed, or happened, between then was I attempted to use the option to upload the video to YouTube (in HD quality. Directly from the iPhone while connected to WiFi). As the HD file size would of been ~26MB I understand this operation would take some time but the progress bar remained at 'preparing video' for well over an hour and never moved on to 'uploading video'. At this point I opened the running programs screen and closed the photos application. Now when I go and click the video file I receive the message as shown above.
Other info:
- The iPhone has been powered off and back on but still receiving the message.
- I have attempted to open the video while connected to another WiFi network and even just over 3G (just in case data connection types were coming into play). Also tested in airplane mode to no avail.
- iCloud/Photostream functionality has been turned off and on. Testing was performed while this feature was disabled.
As I would rather not just delete the video off my iPhone and be done with it, has anyone else encountered anything like this and found a decent fix/workaround?

URL?, in videos saved on a device?
I have an iPad 2 and bought two new movies they worked great and I even streamed one to the apple tv in our living room. After this I began to notice that with these new movies my disk space had been reduced dramatically. I plugged my iPad into my MacBook 2007 core duo, and proceed to open iPhoto with OSX 10.5.8. iPhoto failed. I plugged in in to iTunes and it worked fine. Then I proceeded to go play a game on Xbox. I came back ready to see my movie again and it came up with the error message: the requested URL was not found on this server. Now I am just spitballing here but maybe I just have one problem rather than multiple problems.
One problem: my iCloud just isn't working right
Multiples: my iTunes could have tried to copy it and lost it. iTunes might have had a problem and think I rented it. BIG ONE, I MAXED OUT MY SPACE LIKE I SAID BEFORE AND IT JUST COULDNT FIT, and put IMAGES.
I find this hard to believe that only TWO people have said anything about this. I really want apple to help us here, I just spent 15 bucks in MOVIES. AND MOVIES YOU CAN NOT JUST REDOWNLOAD!

Error message when I try to publish site.

Every time I try to publish my site it gives me an error message saying. ".mac server is busy. please try again in a few minutes." But I have been trying for the last two days and everything seems to be fine according to the .mac home page as far as the server is concerened. What can I do?

What is your internet connection like? Cable modem? Wireless? Ethernet? Satellite?
There have been latency issues with some types of internet connections that cause problems with publishing. It used to be the case that I could not publish wirelessly, but I could if I was using ethernet. That improved for me after one of the airport updates. But many people with Satellite connetions or ADSL have experienced ongoing problems.
Take a look at the suggestions on Apnewbie's help page, too.

Error message when emailing videos?

I'm getting this error message everytime I email a video from my phone. Is anyone else recieving this message. Keep in mind I get it even after I have trimmed the video. It's really frustrating because I can never send out iPhone taken video clips.

There are well documented (in this forum) issues with sending videos via Yahoo mail. For example:
