Error Message: Photoshop detected graphics hardware that is not officially supported.
When I first installed the Beta version of CS6 a message saying "Photoshop detected graphics hardware that is not officially supported." came up. When I tried using the Oil Paint filter this came up.

I get the following message when I open Photoshop: Photoshop detected graphics hardware that is not officially supported...which asks me to "uncheck the use Graphics Processor...but there is no Graphics Processor to check ?????? What do I need to do? I have ignored this in the past and Photoshop seems to work OK but still I wonder why this opens every time I start Photoshop. Thanks for considering my question.:>)
As you can see use Graphics Processor is NOT checked. Now what? And a special thanks for answering me about this. :>)

This alert happens everytime i open anything in photoshop and it prevents me from opening anything "Photoshop detected graphics hardware that is not officially supported. If you experience problems please uncheck the use graphics processor check-box in the performance panel of the preferences dialog" But in graphics processor settings it says no GPU options available with photoshop standard. I have photoshop standard so this clearly isn't the problem...Can anyone help?

Photoshop has detected graphics hardware that is not officially supported for 3d
From what I've read I thought 512 MB or vRAM would work with 3d. It used to anyhow. I get the pop up that says it's not officially supported for 3d, and has temporarily disabled 3d functionality.
I've tried setting the prefences under graphics processor settings to Basic, Normal, and Adavanced with no luck getting the 3d to work again. It was working fine before the last update to 13.1
I'm using a Mac Pro with 8 GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT 512 MB, System 10.8.2

Anyone have any ideas, or maybe I'm missing something. Nothing like getting an update and it busting what used to work. Dang!I can get into the 3d pref area, but not the pull down menu area at all. It's grey'd out now that I did the update.
I just find it weird that the card is on the approved list, and meets the requirments and used to work. But yeah this mac is a few years old at this point. I'm just hoping that someone at Adobe reads this and can shed some light. I'm hoping maybe there's a button I need to click on, or something cheaper then buying an entire new computer when I really don't think I need to. Photoshop has really bloated up! -
PS detected graphics hardware that is not officially supported...
...If you experienceproblems, please uncheck the Use graphics Processecor checkbox in the performance panel dialogue.
Then I click OK and get this message:
The monitor profile 831W G2.2 D78 appears to be defective. Please rerun your monitor calibration software.
How do I re-run my monitor calibration software? I have a CD that came with monitor. But I don't see anything about calibration anywhere.
The program seems to be working but I am new to this and maybe there is something that is not working that I haven't yet discovered.
Thanks for any suggestions.
Edit: I have Windows XP Professional Edition and my AOC monitor has # on it: AOC DCR10000:1
My processor is AMD Athlon Dual Core 5200+ and I have something called NVIDIA control panel in my control panel. What model of nVidia video card do you have? It may be that your video card is simply outdated and in order for Photoshop to give you the best possible experience you'll need a new one.
You may be able to get more specific information from Photoshop by using the Help - System Info feature.
Heh, I think DCR10000:1 is your dynamic contrast ratio spec. I'm not familiar with the AOC line... What is the monitor model number (and more pertinently, does it have a "standard" or "wide" color gamut)?
Perhaps most importantly, do you rely on color-management in your workflow?
If not, or you don't know what color-management is, and your monitor is not a wide-gamut model perhaps settting your monitor to use the standard sRGB IE61966-2.1 color profile instead of the (apparently defective) one provided by AOC would be the quickest solution to your second problem. This would be accomplished in the Windows XP display properties dialog somewhere (I'm no longer familiar enough with the XP specifics to guide you more directly).

Your video card is underpowered for the task.
Go to Photoshop > Preferences > Performance and click on the tick mark next to the box labeled "Use Graphics Processor": -

great Problemes after installing Yosemite (10.10.2 ) with Photoshop CS6....The program crashes --last time 10 times during my work session..wacomtable doesnt work..it is slow...and get error messages about the graphic card....It s a Terror to work with my beloved Photoshop!
The Yosemite upgrade very often damages existing Photoshop installations. Thank Apple for that.
You need to uninstall and re-install Photoshop, then apply all the Photoshop upgrades from scratch.
But first, give us details about your setup:

I plug my ipod into my computer itunes pops up with error message "Ipod detected but can't be identified properly" suggests I unplug and try again or uninstall itunes and reinstall nothing works. What should i do?
summarizing:
iPod nano (what version iOS BEFORE update?)
downloaded music
updated iPod to iOS 8.1.2
Windows 7 PC
plug-in iPod to PC
error message from iTunes on the PC "Ipod detected but can't be identified properly" ⬅[quoted from your original post] (+ suggested troubleshooting steps)
un-plug > re-plug iPod (how many times?)
iTunes un-installed from PC (?)
iTunes RE-installed to PC (?)
error message repeats(?)
searched "Ipod detected but can't be identified properly" site:support.apple.com with ZERO results - pretty strange that the support site wouldn;t know an iTunes generated error message (?) EDIT - had an "aha! moment when using a fresh Google search page and 'suggested' CANNOT
then "Ipod detected but can't be identified properly" site:discussions.apple.com had ONE result = Can't connect to iTunes with ipod touch (-50 error) - NO REPLIES
CANNOT instead of can't [ tsk tsk ]

I have the system "windows 8.1". When I try to install Photoshop Elements 9 I became the error Message; Photoshop can't be install, I need the Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher. The setup will be closed.
There is a problem with IE10+ in that it is mistakenly seen as being IE1. To get around this either use a different browser or use compatibility view (http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/internet-explorer/use-compatibility-view#ie=ie-10)

The message says: "Error: 'setTimeout' called on an object that does not implement interface Windows" Multiple message windows for this get open. And there is an OK button under it. I have to click on OK button on all the windows to be able to continue with working on the browser again.
hello, can you try to replicate this behaviour when you launch firefox in safe mode once? if not, maybe an addon is interfering here...

I installed a new printer and now Photoshop Elements tells me I can't print. The error message is "The saved printer information is not compatible with this version of Photoshop Elements, or the saved printer is no longer available. You will need to check your printer settings before printing." I have uninstalled and re-installed Photoshop Elements, checked my printer settings and still I can't print a photo.
