Error message related to profit center and CO account assignment
Hi Experts,
The user is trying to post a return order in VA01 as per a compliant. While entering the material number and quantity in the system it was throwing a message like "No posting can be made to profit center xxxxxx in company code xxxx. When I checked the particular profit center it was not activated in the particular company code xxxx. I have activated that and the asked the user to test. Now he is getting an error like "The CO account assignment object belongs to company YYYY not xxxx.

Hi All,
I have replicate this issue in quality system and found that user is using inputs of two different organisational units for this process. It is purely an error from user side, hence I am closing this thread. Thank you for your inputs.

Dear Experts,
We have a problem in Travel Management,
I have created a trip for paid by company expenses only and entered cost distribution (fund, funds center and WBS) in the trip.
When I transfer a trip to FI through transaction PRRW throughing error message "F6804 Value Blank/Space invalid for account assignment element for fund and FI313 No funds center entered/ derived in Item".
The paid by com. expenses receipts of wage types credited with - positive amount in 2nd symbolic account offsetting entry and flagged W/CO also the symbolic code linked to linked to Temprary clearing GL it is BS GL .
I checked all the existing threads messages but I did not get solution.
the problem comes up from our upgradation, 6 months back we upgraded to ECC 6.
We don't have any problems in our old 4.7 system still it is working fine.
I created OSS but still they did not solved and they are refering all passed notes.
could any one give the solution to come out from this problem?

Basically the error is because of Funds Management which you have activated. Please check the note 1268001, 701291, 558295 & 936658 but i dont know will this be helpful or not.

Getting error message while defining Profit Center
Dear Expert,
Kindly suggest while adding profit center in profit center setup on profit center field earlier it allowed to save the profit center name in alpha numeric but recently we are getting error message while updating or adding on new profit center"Conversion failed when converting the nvarchar value "Profit Center Name" to data type int (CINF)".
If anybody had a solution or came across this kind of situation then please forward us your valuable information that would be really great to tackle and out come from this issue.

Error message when trying to post GR for account assignment category A
Hello gurus,
when I create a PO item with account assignment category A, PO creation works fine. But when I try to post the GR for that item, I get an error message similar to
"Account determination for entry <our chart of accounts> ANL <our company code> not possible".
Any idea what the problem might be?
I have had similar error messages in the past, when the automatic postings where not configured completely. So "ANL" should be some transaction like BSX or something. But I cannot find a transaction ANL.

remaining free space on icloud is 3.6 Gb; deleted and re-established the mail account on the device several times, following instructions from Apple KB doc <http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4864> without success. Unfortunately, the mobile device (HTC HD2) can't be updated with a newer windows version, Android is no alternative, either. Can anybody help???
Cheers, Andreas@Naiks, having suffered through unsuccessful synching attempts for Calendar and Contacts myself, l would suggest you try the following:
UNINSTALL iCloud control panel from your PC. Seems silly, but do it.
Go into Outlook, and look at the very top menu. Click FILE, then ACCOUNT SETTINGS, then click the popup box.
You will see a list of all your email accounts. Make sure that ONE of them has a checkmark against it. If not, select the account your want as your default, and click "set as default.
Exit out of Outlook and reboot your machine.
Now reinstall iCloud, check CALENDAR and CONTACTS, and do as instructed when prompted.
Reboot for good luck and now launch OUTLOOK. All that remains is to locate your iCloud Contacts and Calendar files, and make them your default.
IMPORTANT: Don't panic if you can't find your contacts -- they're there. Click CONTACTS and you'll see you have several available contact files. Locate the one label "iCloud" in grey type. Right-click on it, select PROPERTIES, then click the Outlook Address Book tab. Check the box that says something like "Make this my default Outlook Address Book." Keep clicking "apply" and "okay" until you've exited out of the dialog box maze.
You may have to do something similar with your Calendar files. I dd not, but if you need to, do it.
Everything should now sync pretty seamlessly.
I didn't have the exact same problem as you, but my dilemma was close enough. Good luck!

We use new GL,and now when we do GR,the system report error message "Balancing field "Profit Center" in line item 001 not filled".so there must be anywhere to assign the profit to GR account ,but i can not find.:(

Profit center and cost center master data upload errors

Could you please guide me to resolve the below errors in profit center and cost cost center master data upload through LSMW. i am usinng recording method for upload and getting below error while uploading the data from txt file.
1. Valid from and to dates are not converting in DDMMYYYY format, which field type we have to use in field mapping?
2. some of the fields data are overlapping when uploading the data.
3. How to create validation for empty cells data.

when you are using LSMW for uploading PC & CC, simple way to correct the Error's WHILE RECORDING The First record, while Creating LSMW, B very care full while entering the details ,bez wht ever Fields your updating ..the same Fields get updated While LSMW Processed.
As mentioned above update the vaild from and to date in wht ever format you want While recording, in the same format all the remaining records gets updated..

Relation Between Dummy Profit Center and Posting Keys.

It will be a valuable feed back for below mentioned Scenario.
One of our client is on SAP Version 4.7 and New GL is not activated. In COCD one Customer Invoice entry is booked as below.
PK Account Amount Profit Center
01 SURXXX1 100.00 ABCD
50 REVENUE A/c 50.00 ABCD
50 ENT TAX 20.00 ABCD
50 SERVICE TAX 30.00 ABCD
After running t codes 1KEK, F.5D, and KE5T for customer line item system picks same profit center as mentioned in other line items i.e ABCD.
But when we reverse the above document system picks DUMMY Profit center instead of ABCD.
PK Account Amount Profit Center
12 SURXXX1 100.00 DUMMY
40 REVENUE A/c 50.00 ABCD
40 ENT TAX 20.00 ABCD
40 SERVICE TAX 30.00 ABCD
Basically we have checked field status variant for Posting Key 01 and 12 in which Profit Center field is Required and field status for profit center for reconciliation account is also required. This is unusual behavior which we are facing right now.

Cost Center :
The cost center is an organizational unit in a controlling area. Cost centers can be defined according to several different design approaches. A typical approach could be for an enterprise to define a cost center for each low-level organizational unit that has responsibility for managing costs. As costs are incurred, they are assigned or posted to the appropriate cost center. These costs could include payroll costs, rent and utility costs, or any other costs assignable to a given cost center.
Each cost center is assigned to a category, e.g. Administration cost center, production cost center, etc. Each cost center master record has a field for the name of the person responsible for the cost center.

I have created Validation understanding if someone gives Trading Partner and also Profit center while posting a doc than it will generate an error message.

How to mix default profit center and mandatory profit center ?
Dear all,
I have defined that the profit center is mandatory for all accounts (with the field status group).
For some accounts, I have defined a default profit center in spro.
When I do a posting for those accounts, and I don't key in a value for profit center, I receive the error message "An entry is required in Profit center field for account xxxx". But, the account has a default profit center defined in spro.
Why the default profit center is not taken in consideration before to display the error message ?
Is there any solution ?
Thanks for your helpWhen the field status group for an account mandates a field, it has to be filled in ENTRY view, i.e. when you are entering the document. System would not let you go further until the field is filled with a valid value. Default profit center configuration gets triggerred subsequently (just before the posting).
Solution: For account for which you have default profit center configuration, change the field status group so profit center is optional. -

1) OBR1 - Reset Transaction data
2)OBR2 - Reset the master data
3)OKKS - Set Controlling Area
4)OKC3 - Delete Transcation Data
5) KL14 - Delete Activity Types
6)OKE5 - Profit center De - Active
7)OKE1 - Profit center Transcation data delete
8)OKE2 - profit center delete
if if you follow above steps easily we can make the delete the profitcenter and we donot have to activate profitcenter
