Hi all,
I can't seem to install my printer drivers without an error message coming up:
The program you are trying to install requires admin. or higher level access.
I have gone to disk utilities and tried to repair disk permissions but it no use. It still keeps coming up.
I'm logged in as admin and am the only user on my mac. It seemed to happen when I updated to 10.4.4
My printer stopped working so I did as the instructions said and deleted the printer, but now I can't reinstall the drivers.
Help please!!!

Not sure exactly what you mean by errors. If they show up in your Scan Log, then they almost always involved files that you don't have read access to.
If they were errors during Definitions Update there will be more in your Update Log and are usually network related. 
If they were infections then I would need to know the infection name and exact location of the file in order to be able to advise you on those.
To get detailed infomation on what ClamXav has found, after completing the scan, click in the top pane of the ClamXav window where it shows the Infection / File Name / Status to make sure it's in front and type the key combinations <command>-A, <command>-C (or choose "Select-All", "Copy" from the "Edit" menu) to copy the information to your clipboard, then come back here and type <command>-V or choose "Paste" to show us what was found where.

    I sounds like yu have a first generation (1G) iPod.  You can update that as far as iOS 3.1.3.  To get that update go here. You may have to use a different browser to get the sublink to work correctly.

    Every time that I try to use Firefox 4, Firefox 3 pops up on the Dock and tries to start up. I get the error message "A copy of Firefox is already open. Only one copy of Firefox can be open at a time." I click OK and the message goes away. Then it happens again. And again. It doesn't stop until I quit Firefox 4. I've tried creating a new profile (and deleting my old one) and deleting the .parentlock and the profile.ini file, but nothing works. Help me please!

    Some things to try in this order:
    1) Make sure you designated the correct folders for music, etc.
    2) Press and Hold the Home and Power buttons on the iPad until the Apple Logo appears, about 10 seconds.
    3) Make sure all antivirus and firewalls are off.
    4) Delete and reinstall itunes. (Back up the itunes folder first.)

    I recently modified an existing data-collection PDF - only mod was to add some additional pull-down menu options in two fields. I went thru the Distribution wizard, tested the revised form, added the PDF to the Responses file...everything seemed fine. Next day, I distributed the revised form, and had 22 submissions. When adding the 22 submissions to the Response file, 6 or 7 bounced with the error message "The data for <filename> was already added to the form", even though that was not true. I went back, cleared all, and added one of the "bad" files to the response form. It went in OK, but I could not add another "bad one". Although several of the forms may be submitted by the same person, the data is different in all of the submissions, plus, we've been doing this procdure for over a year and never had an issue until now.
    The original form may have been created in Acrobat X, and I have Acrobat 9 Pro. Not sure if that is part or all of the answer. Thanks for any insights...I saw a posting in the Reader side, but I can't see any answers.

    Excellent apple networking on Lion or ML is usually the issue.
    Reboot the TC.. if that don't fix it.. reboot the whole network.. modem.. router.. TC.. clients.. restart in that order.
    There are tools.. download the real tool if you have lion..
    For ML you are stuck with toyland.. AU 6.1 .. good luck with the plastic hammer.

    It sounds like you are getting this error message that your iPod cannot be read from or written to when you are trying to update your iPod Nano.     It doesn't sound like you are doing anything incorrectly from what I can see. Have you tried restarting the iPad and then see if you can backup?
    Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

    I never unplug the external harddrive, and the error message comes up only occassionaly upon startup.  Maybe the USB connection gets disrupted enough to cause the computer to see it as disconnected and then reconnected while the iMac is powered.

    Bootup holding CMD+r, or the Option/alt key to boot from the Restore partition & use Disk Utility from there to Repair the Disk, then Repair Permissions.
    Then Repair the backup Disk... any change?
