Error Message that i don't understand please help

Hi,
Please can you help me out to figure out what this error message means. I'm novice to mac os x world and i dont know much, my computer gets freezing every now and then, and will shutdown itself. HELP - Error message that I don't understand

When trying to burn an iMovie project to DVD through IDVD I get this error message about 5 minutes in to the process every time:
Error during rendering/encoding
There was an error during rendering/encoding of the menu/slideshows. The burning process has been cancelled.
I am a novice user & trying to make a DVD for all of my family back in the UK to send for Xmas - so URGENT now!!!
Can anyone advise what I'm doing wrong?
I have checked the disk tree and there aren't any errors showing up there as red crosses or black/yellow warning tape signs.
The DVD set up is very basic - no menus or extras - just an iMovie project that I exported from iMovie OK. I have been able to do a version for iTunes so I just don't get why this won't work and the error message is super unhelpful.

Welcome to apple discussions. There's an old saying, "The faster I go, the behinder I get". This may apply here because I can tell you from experience that One Step and Magic Dvd are not any faster at capturing / encoding video to dvd-r than creating a dvd via the traditional approach. I don't recommend One step or Magic as a beginner.
Suggestion only: If you're a novice, then please create a typical iDvd project via Create an iDvd Project / apple's web site / iDvd tutorials (as opposed to a OneStep or Magic Dvd). Learn the basics first in order to make a standard dvd and then mess with the other approaches. Not the other way around.

For starters, your program apparently doesn't call "loadLibrary" to load the shared library implementing your native method.

I am trying to activate a first gen iPad with WiFi and 3G. When I go to Settings, Cellular Data, and View Account to activate the iPad, I get an error message that says, "SIM is Invalid. Pleae use a different SIM."
There is a SIM PIN option, and when I click that it asks for the PIN. I don't have a PW for the SIM (the iPad was a slightly used gift, and none of the paperwork came with the iPad).

Did you check your user name and password in Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars...tap your email account, tap SMTP, then tap the primary server name. Make sure the settings there are correct.

I'm trying to simply download iTunes. I keep getting error messages that I don't have apple support

I have tried to download iTunes on my computer several times. I keep getting an error message that it can't download it. Also having issues with my iPod touch. It is frozen and just shows:iPod is disabled connect to iTunes. The problem is, I can't connect to iTunes because I cannot get it downloaded to my computer. Please help.

This was the exact error message. I did contact Apple and was on the phone a very long time with them. It did not fix the problem, however, it is an HP Windows 7 issue it looks like.

hello, people!! i got my zen micro a while ago and it worked for a while, but then the computer got messeed up and we had to get it fixed. after i got it fixed, i reinstalled all the zen stuff and i synced it once. ever since, i haven't been able to sync anymore!!! with windows media player 0 i got this error message: 8004200C. i don't even know what that means, because the windows media website didn't have any information!! today, i upgraded wmp0 to wmp! i thought it would work since it is upgraded..nope, it didn't. a different error message came up: C00DEE. this time it gave me a little more info. it said that the disk was to full or something, but i only have 376 songs and 20 albums!! i don't understand!! can someone PLEASEEE HELP?!

How do I get FF to work with Mod Organizer (for mods used with ES: Skyrim)? I get an error message that it can't understand the address given.

I am an avid Elder Scrolls fan and am using the new STEP 2.2.9 setup. They've gone to Mod Organizer (MO) and I cannot seem to get my FF working with the download mod portion of things. I click the "earth" icon, which takes me immediately to the Nexus Mod files page but when I choose a file to download after clicking "Download with Manager" I get this error message:

Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because one of the following protocols (nxm) isn't associated with any program or is not allowed in this context.

The address given, when clicking "Download with Manager" begins with nxm://Skyrim/mods/ The address is such due to trying to download with the manager.
Any help will be greatly appreciated! I've pulled my hair out for the last few hours trying to find a fix. I've disabled Adblock, all other popup blockers and enabled the main address in my exception rules. It's just not working. Ugh!

Error message when connecting Nano to computer - please help!

I just started getting an error message when I try to disconnect my Ipod Nano from my computer after it's done charging/updating. The message tells me the device can't be stopped because other programs are utilizing files on my nano.
I tried restarting my computer, but it froze. It's happened twice now and I have had to disconnect it when it says not to. Please help!

I have been ejecting it. This problem only began recently. I read through about 30 pages of this forum and found someone postoing about the same problem. They said it may be McAfee Viruscan in the background.I'll check that out.

Error message when opening itunes...please help

I recently tried to purchase music on the itunes store, and was told to do so I had to upgrade to itunes 7, which i had put off for quite a while...however, now that I have done so, I get a error that comes up each time I open iTunes, telling me a newer version of quicktime is required, despite the fact I HAVE that new version, and whenever I try to install a standalone version of the most recent quicktime, it tells me a newer version of quicktime is already installed.
Anyway, this is the error message: "QuickTime version 7.0d0 is installed, iTunes requires Quicktime version 7.1.3 or later. Please reinstall iTunes."
Whenever I try and install a non-standalone version of the newest iTunes, this doesn't seem to effect the situation so could anyone help? Would be appreiciated...thanks...

i've just checked the Add/Remove programs list, and Quicktime doesn't appear to be on it.
okay, let's try a slightly different technique for swapping out the QuickTime that can get past those sorts of issues.
Download and install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. then use it to clear any existing QuickTime installation configuration information from your PC:

Next, we’ll manually remove leftover program files and folders.
1. On the Start menu, click My Computer (or double-click My Computer on the Desktop).
2. In My Computer, open Local Disk.
3. Open Program Files.
4. Right-click on the QuickTime folder and click Delete from the shortcut menu.
5. Navigate to C:\Windows\system32\.
6. Remove the files QuickTime.qts and QuicktimeVR.qtx.
7. Restart your computer.
next, we'll try to get a fresh copy of QuickTime into your PC by doing a repair install of itunes.
switch off antivirus and antispyware applications prior to the repair install.
go into Add/Remove and select itunes. click "Change" and then click "Repair".
if the repair install goes through okay, restart the PC and try launching itunes again. does it launch properly now?

ITunes shows error message, QuickTime doesn't respond! PLEASE HELP!

My iTunes doesn't open anymore, it shows that error message (iTunes needs to close. Send error report... etc). I tried uninstalling it, installing gain from the iPod CD, from the website, and nothing works. On Apple's support site it said I needed to uninstall QuickTime and repair iTunes, but my computer won't let me uninstall Quick Time, it doesn't work. I have uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes 100 times, I have restarted my computer too and nothing seems to work.
I don't use Norton, I use McAfee. I don't know what else to do, somebody please help me solve this problem, I have been trying to fix it for WEEKS!

IT WORKS!!!!!!
This is unblievable, but iTunes is working, and all I had to do was install it in a different folder! Now both QT and iTunes work fine, my library is intact and I can update my iPod!
The only weird thing is that all the files on the library that are on my iPod now have that exclamation point, meaning I have to look for them, but that's ok, cause they are still on my iPod even after updating!

I had the same issue this morning downloading a pre-order of Alanis, Flavors of Entanglement . I noticed that the only thing that had changed fro me was that I had some song credits for purchasing ticketmaster tickets over the past few weeks. When I went ahead and spent my remaining credits... it downloaded with no prompting or trouble. Maybe the credits issues hangs it up?
