ERROR MESSAGE - The media being played is of an unsupported format...ERROR MESSAGE - HELP

I recently download an app to watch movies on my phone from blackberrymovemachine.com. I successfully downloaded this app and when I go to play movies it starts the download and then I get the error message: The media being played is of an unsupported format. I have gotten this message too when trying to play some videos on you tube. Any suggestions or help would be great? Do I need to download another app to support this type of media?

I have tried many methods of moving wma files from my pc to my 8310. Some work and others trigger the error message "the media being played is of an unsupported format" Why some work and other don't is mysterious to me.

Hi everybody
probably you know what problem I have, because I have found it in this forum, but I tried all solution and antything didnt help me.
So I have bought a memory card to my 8900. Everything went fine, but after time I couldnt play my videos. there is an error
the media being played is of an unsupported format. I formated card, pull baterry out, reset phone..........nothing helped me. I am really desperate ( Could anyone help me please??

I use to get these messages but usaually after closing the program all the way down and starting the program again the problem was fixed never had to reboot my device to do this. Since .148 I havent gotten this message

This is a known issue that is a pain in the butt. Your media player is locked up as well. Look here:

Try a Battery pull please, with the BlackBerry device powered ON, remove the battery 15 seconds and then reinsert the battery to reboot device. This will clear all cache like rebooting a PC. Then try again and see if your problem persists.
If you have done the above, try removing the media card and inserting it again.

Error message - media being played is of an unsupported format

I have the Curve 8330, my friend has the BOLD 9700 - both on the TELUS network. When I send a video or voice note everything works as it should. When they (BOLD 9700) send me (Curve 8330) a Voice Note or Video (bb to bb) I get the following error message. "Media being played is of an unsupported format".
I've checked for Updates .. there doesn't appear to be any.

I have the same issue and this clears it, but it happens all the time if you use media player.

i am getting the error " media being played is of unsupported formart". This is my new BB with OS version 7. I am extremly unhappy with this BB for all the problems and issues i have with this.
Someome please help me play the video media[ MP4} files recorded using previous BB model.

ITune jumps to the song being played at the start of each song - make it st

When I'm listening and working iTunes in another section of iTunes, the display jumps to the song being played at the start of each song. I then have to find where I was working at. How do I make it stop jumping to the song being played?

Thank you but it did not work. I changed it to selected item but I still bounce back to the song being played at the beginning of each song. I find this very annoying! Thanks but it did not work.. I did not mention but I'm using iTunes 7.

Checked:
when you add a song to iTunes, that song is copied to the itunes library folder (on your external drive) with all your other songs, so they are all in the same place, on that drive. you can then delete the song you added to itunes from wherever you added it, because it has been copied to the itunes folder.
Unchecked:
the song is not copied to the itunes folder on the external drive. this means that once you add it to itunes, you must keep the song wherever you added it from, because itunes only remembers where it is located, and does not keep a copy in the itunes folder. moving this file will make the song unplayable in itunes.

Can Firefox automatically return to a file with a media link after the media has played?

WIndows XP, Firefox 33.11.
html documents have lines of dialogue text and a link to the audio of each dialogue line.
The audio is sometimes mp3, sometimes wav.
Clicking on a link plays the audio OK, however when the audio finishes, one has to manually
click back to the document. This is inconvenient when sifting through numerous lines of dialogue.
Is there a way to automatically re-display the document as soon as the audio finishes playing.

I understand that opening an audio file in the same tab disrupts the viewing of the previous website you were browsing.
There is no feature built into Firefox that does this, however there are some features that you can try to have an alternative:
For example, opening the audio file in a new tab by right clicking on the link is a possibility. Also using the hot key Alt + Enter when clicking on the media url.

My Bold keeps saying my downloaded videos , movies , songs are in an unsupported format . How do I deal with this problem ?

try performing a hard reset and remove memory card. To do a hard reset, remove the battery while the phone is on and then put it back afetr 30 seconds. Try reinserting the Media Card after it boots, wait for the media card content to load. Then try Playing your media files.

Jumping to the track being played

I'm doing some housekeeping on my iTunes in one playlist A At the same time I am listening to music in playlist B. Every time a new track comes up, iTunes jumps to that track in playlist B and I then have to go back to playlist A and find my original place it in. It's driving me mad and I'm sure it didn't behave like this in the past. Is there a way I can stop it happening?

Well, maybe I don't get the iTunes DJ function - But I want to avoid having to deal with an extra window where I would have to add tracks to a playlist - because I'm exploring unknown music as well as managing list info (names, art, etc...) and wouldn't know what to add before I even stumble across tracks to peruse as I scroll through the main list - and I don't want iTunes to go randomly selecting things either. I simply want to be able to work through the main list and select tracks to play at my leisure while I scroll and then not be jumped back after I have scrolled away when I might well want to let the next song play -or to pick another song from where I happen to be at after the last song ends (without having to pick a new song before the last one ends)... I never used the DJ function, so I'll look into that more, but it doesn't look like that really solves this issue either.

Why Can't I See The Artist's Name In The Media Centre Play Mo

I'm listening to my Zen Touch on my computer at work. I'm playing my music through Media Centre and cannot see the Artists' Name in the player. I only get a number (the number of the file within the player, I presume).
Anyway to correct this problem? I'm sorry if this is covered in any new update. I didn't see it in the list of descriptions.

I assume that you are refering to the Creative MediaSource Player/Organizer. In this case, you can view the Artist name of the track in the Now Playing window. You need to make your Now Playing window wider so that you can see the Artist column.

Is there a way to record just the arpeggios and not the notes being played?

I am recording the Arpeggios from my Motif rack ES into Logic Pro 7.2 in midi format but when I try to do this, the notes that I play on the keyboard also get recorded along with the arpeggios? Is there a way to record just what's coming out of the midi out (of motif rack es) and not the keys that you are pressing to kick off the arpeggio?

Either check your Motif's owners manual to see if you can disable the keys or make sure the keys are out of the arpeggio's range and use a transform object in the environment to filter out the unwanted notes.
