I am getting an error message when I try to install the trial version of Muse on a Mac OS X 10.8.2.
What do I do? I have downloaded it several times over different days and I still get the same problem.

Thank you there might still be some files left over from the previous installation. You can try running the Cleaner tool to see if it can detect the previous installtion. Also how exactly are you installing Adobe Muse? Can you please post the steps you are performing? The error above is very similar to an error which can be received in the Adobe Download Assistant when trying to install an updated version on Mac OS 10.

I need help with an error I am receiving. I'm on a Mac with OS X Mavericks. I just attempted to install the Photoshop Elements trial and, in attempting to open the "Install Adobe Download Assistant", I received this error:
"Sorry, an error has occurred.
This application cannot be installed because this installer has been mis-
configured. Please contact the application author for assistance."
I did attempt to download a new copy of the installer, with the same result.

the most common problem is caused by failing to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system enabling you to download the correct version from adobe.com).

Numbers 3.x can only open Numbers '09 and later. You will need Numbers '09 to open Numbers '08 files.
If it is a single file (or only a few) you can email me and I will open and convert then email back. My email address is in the "Biography" of my profile.
You may have Numbers '09 installed. Look in the folder "/Applications/iWork '09" if Numbers is in that folder launch it, open the file you tried to open, and save. Then you should be able to open in Numbers 3.x

Error Message "This iPhone cannot be used because..."

I am trying to use my iPhone with a new laptop. I installed iTunes most recent version and it works fine.
When I plug my iPhone in, I get an error message: "This iPhone cannot be used because the Apple Mobile Device service has not been started."
I have been using my iPhone (and various iPods and iTouches). I have never had a problem plugging them in and POOF, they show up in iTunes. None of them will show up in iTunes in my new computer.
What am I doing wrong?

I had this problem before. I like to disable extra services to speed up my computer and I disabled the Apple Mobile Device service and had to re-enable this.
You can do that by going Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Services. Once you have gone to the services window, look for Apple Mobile Device and right-click. Select "Properties". There should be some information about the service as well as the label "Startup Type" with a drop-down menu beside it. If it says "disabled", that is your problem; Change the selection to anything except disabled (Automatic is easier and ensures that you can sync as soon as itunes opens).
If this doesn't work, I would look into your anti-virus' settings. Good Luck!
