Error Message when accessing Group Manager

When I click the "Create Group or Add New Members" button, I get the following message, System error. Please re-try your action. If you continue to get this error, please contact the Administrator." I have tried various browsers, cleared cache, etc. Also, one of my external users reports not being able to access a workspace. I am wondering if the two problems may be related. I cannot access the group manager to see if the user has appropriate permissions.

We would need to know the group and the user affected to be able to help.
Are you the manager of the group - when you connect to the userAdmin tool = right hand button on the main https://beehiveonline.oracle.com page you will see who is the manager and can get them to add the user.
If you are the manager then we need to fix the access.
If you want to email me directly with the details of the group etc. my email is [email protected]

  • Reader error message when accessing documents on other websites

have repaired adobe reader twice, still get "adobe reader error" message when trying  to access my visa acct. run vista home basic. What is problem. Also seems to cause windows to close IE on me through  daa execution program. I am a thoroughly confused computer nerd on this.

We cannot know. Your information is way too vague to make any sense of it and the whole affair sounds utterly unrelated to Adobe software in the first place. Perhaps some security tool running amok, perhaps simply a missing system library, perhaps a failed install. Who's to say?

  • Drive restriction group policy causes error message when accessing Open and Save As Dialog Boxes on Windows 8.1

We are running Windows 8.1 Pro x86
I am really curious as to why the drive restriction group policy causes the error message to pop up:
"This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator."
It does not prevent from actual saving so functionality is not lost but it really annoys our end users and we're getting a lot of complaints. We cannot use the workaround of hiding drives instead of restricting as this still presents security issues. This
is happens when saving (or clicking on a button like "Browse" that opens the 'Open' dialogue box) in all Office 2013 applications, Internet Explorer, Paint, Notepad, and probably most others. I've looked at many forums and no suggestions for workarounds
have succeeded for us to get rid of this error message and in fact, I read a post that stated that someone contacted Microsoft and they said this was by design and there is no workaround. I find this very unfortunate that we either have the choice of compromising
security or annoying our end users. It seems to me like the new dialogue box in Windows 8.1 (and maybe 8?) attempts to access the local drive under the logged in user's account before it actually opens up the dialogue box which conflicts with the group policy
that restricts access to the drive.
Has anyone at all had any luck getting this to go away without removing the restrictions? It seems like the answer is either buried in the Windows code or somewhere in the registry.
Thank you in advance for your time!

Thank you for your time and response! Unfortunately, we have the machine locked down pretty tight (they are public use computers that require heavy restriction) and it is set to restrict all drives so access is limited to the local profile. We did try
testing your method, however, by adding the Desktop as an allowed location in the Office policy (which would not solve the issue for the other applications but was good for a test) using the path %userprofile%\desktop. When choosing that location, it does
not throw the error but unfortunately, it does not remember like it did for your with the E: drive so it still always throws the error when first loading the dialogue box no matter what I do. If you're able to confirm that this is simply by design and we're
just expected to inform our users to click through the errors, then I guess that's the accepted answer. Although, do you think that there might be a registry key value that is set after you save to the E: drive for the first time? Maybe we could set that value
to %userprofile%\desktop if it's doing the redirection after the first save through registry. Thanks again!

  • Error 403 when accessing workflow manager page after install

    Hey,
I'm in the process of setting up a new workflow manager farm for my SP2013 environment.
At the moment I'm setting up the stage WFM farm which consists of only one dedicated server (meaning not running on a SP server). My live WFM farm will be made of 3 servers.
I've followed Harbar's guide located here:
http://www.harbar.net/articles/wfm2.aspx, and all was successfull until I tried to access the workflow page on
    https://myserver.domain.com:12290 and got a 403.
I've checked that the Workflow Manager Backend, Windows Fabric Host Service, Service Bus Gateway and Service Bus Broker services are running.
Get-WFFarmStatus is also showing me everything running. In IIS, app pool and site are started.
I've tried ti access https://myserver.domain.com:12290 from the WFM machine, from a SP server and from my own laptop, same issue, I always get a 403.
Would you know how to troubleshoot this?
Thanks in advance and have a nice day

    Hi Fluidetom,
From your description, my understanding is that you got 403 error when you accessed workflow manager site.
Please run IE as an administrator(right-click IE ->run as administrator) on the WFM server, compare the result.
Please run the commands to check the workflow service account:
    $Farm = Get-WFfarm
    $Farm.AdminGroup
Make sure the account has local access to the server.

  • Ical server error message when accessed remotely

hello we have a 10.6.7 ical server running mostly smoothly when accessed from the LAN.
however, when accessed remotely it generates the following error message:
The server responded with “HTTP/1.1 501 Not Implemented” to operation CalDAVAccountRefreshQueueableOperation.
the message provides the following 2 responses / buttons: stay offline or go online - trouble is once you click go online, it comes up with the same message again.
unfortunately, research the error message has so far not produced any promising results, thus any ideas would be much appreciated.

There are many reports here on this site about this, crossing different carriers and regions of the world. Consequently, the only deduction that can be made is that this is a system-level issue rather than a single user issue. Hence, what each affected user must do is contact their mobile service provider for formal support and possible escalation up to BlackBerry.

  • Error message when accessing calendar using Thunderbird Lightning with WCAP

    Hi,
I have the problem that I installed Thunderbird Lightning and I wanted to set it up to access my calendar (my company uses Sun Java Communications Express). I installed the proper Lightning version with WCAP support but I still can't get the things work.
When I want to acces my calendar through Lightning I get the following error messages:
"Calendar is read only" - when I want to add a new event or task to the calendar in Lightning, even if I remove the tick from the read-only box in properties
    or
    "Error: 0x80004005
Description: Component returned failure code: 0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE) [nsISimpleEnumerator.getNext]" - when I click on my calendar name (when opening) in Lightning
I would appreciate any help that could resolve the problem.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
Firstly I should point out that the lightning plug-in is in a state of flux, it is very much in it's early days so there is a battle between stability and features. I know the developers inside of Sun are working through new bugs all the time so if you do hit a bug, please always try the latest version to see if it still exists.
The latest version of the lightning plugin (with WCAP) can be found at:
    http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/calendar/lightning/releases/0.3.1rc2/lightning-wcap/
Try downloading/upgrading to this release and see if the problem persists.
    Regards,
    Shane.

  • Error message when accessing file browser on NMH300

Hi, i have a problem here. The error message: "The media hub is not responding, please confirm the device is powered on and connected to your network." appears whenever i try to access File Browser on the NMH300 media hub. I tried rebooting the device, resetting the device but to no avail. I still get the error message. I am using the updated firmware 3.18.4. Any idea how to solve this problem?
Also, i can't seems to rollback the firmware to the 2.17 version even though i have done a reset of the device by pressing the reset button at the back of the device. any help on this?
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Hi,
Try to press and hold down the reset button at the back of the mediahub for 30 seconds then check if its now reset back to factory defaults.
I'm curious, when you began having that problem was it at the time when you created a folder under "File Browser" ? Maybe the Linksys article below is the right way of creating folders on the mediahub or just create a folder using the mapped drive.
Creating and Deleting New Shares Displayed in File Browser
    Anyway I hope this helps.

  • Error Message when accessing a device on RME Hardware Summary

When I go to RME, RME Harware Summary, and try and click on any category I get the following error Message.

    1. Post screenshot of the error on the page.
    2. Go to RME --> Admin --> System Preferences --> Application Log Level Settings --> Application and enable the following debugs:
    Enable debugs for RME Portlets
RME --> Reports ---> Report Generator --> Duplicate the problem here.
    Get RMEPortlets.log from CSCOpx/log
Goto CSCOpx/MDC/tomcat/logs and get the logs.
    3. Goto Common Services ---> Device Management ---> Device and Credentials ---> Select one of your device and view identity.
If it contains a hostname with space or fqdn, just modify it with ip address only and re-run reports. And then test it out again without domain in hostname.  And if the display name has any special characters, please remove it and re-run the reports.
Is this a new installation? If so, get the install logs from C:\Ciscoworks_install_xxxx.log as well. How long has this been occurring? Does the RME application function correctly at all?
    Don't forget to disable debugs.

  • "RFC 2822" error message when sending group emails

I periodically send bulk emails to groups from my AddressBook, and have done so w/o glitches for years. Suddenly, I'm getting this weird error message: "Message does not conform to RFC 2822 standard". Earthlink tech support was unable to figure it out. Mac tech support said to cut down the number of contacts in my groups. Tried that. No go. I see others here have run into this. I tried the "BCC" workaround that some kind soul posted a few months back (Add the desired AddressBook group to the BCC field instead of the "To" field.). This did work (thank you, kind soul!), but it seems like a provisional solution. Has Mac or anybody else figured out what this RFC thing is all about and how to fix it for good?
Any help would be much appreciated.
    MacBook   Mac OS X (10.4.8)

When you put the group in the BCC: field, are you also putting at least one address (usually your own) in the To: field?
I would also make sure that there are no typos, and especially no spaces, in all the email addresses.

  • Error Message when starting Object Manager on the Client

Ive installed sgd 4 successfully and I can start applications - except

    ErrTransportNotAvailable

    Any ideas on this??
I have telnet installed and enabled, but cant log in as root yet.

    Hi Matthias
I can't immediately explain this but the error message says that a
connection to port 33521 on host 172.17.32.37 was refused. This usually
means that the 33521 service (whatever this is) is not currently
    running.
I don't recognise this as a port number that should be connected to
during a launch, perhaps it would help if you posted the messages in
the server error logs that occur at the time the launch is made.
In case this is some kind of proxy service it might be worth checking
to see if anything is running on this port. i.e. use
    netstat -an | grep 33521
there may be something listening on the loopback interface?
In general you should use 'ssh'. To get this working for the X11
protocol, which is the protocol required by the object manager. You
need to enable X11 forwarding in your /etc/ssh/ssh_config ( set
    ForwardX11 yes), and in your /etc/ssh/sshd_config ( set X11Forwarding
yes ) on all machines connecting via ssh.
Note. I'm assuming you are using Linux with moderate security settings
because you are getting this problem -- if you are using something
different the actual files you need to change may vary.
