  • Error Message when downloading updates for Bridge and PS5.....

I recently started using a new Nikon D7100.  The photos are not registering on Bridge or PS5 on my Macbook Pro.  Accordingly, I tried several times to download and install the updates for Camera Raw, etc.  Unfortunately, I keep getting a message that says "There was an error downloading this update.  Please quit and try again later.".  Any words of wisdom?  Thanks for your help!

Thanks a lot Ned!  I really appreciate your help!  I did try this direct update and I was able to get 3 of the 4 updates to install.  Unfortunately the Camera Raw 6.7 update that I really need didn't work.  I was able to download it, but it did not install.  The message I am getting is "Installation failed", with no other details.  Any thoughts?
    Thanks again for you help!

  • Suddenly receiving error 8003 when downloading updates for apps

    Hello -
I've suddently started receiving error 8003 when attempting to download updates to some of my apps.  I continue to be able to download other content - new music purchases for example - but not this these 16 updates.  I'm running iTunes 10.5.2 on OSX 10.6.8.
Any thoughts on this situation are much appreciated.
    Thank you.

Try deleting the partial cached downloads in the iTunes media folder.
That error is outlined here -> iTunes: Advanced iTunes Store troubleshooting
    "Error -50," "-5000," "8003," "8008," or "-42023"
These alerts occur due to timeouts or conflicts trying to write a file during download.
If you encounter this issue while accessing iTunes Store:
See iTunes 9: "One Moment Please" or "Error (-50)" message when accessing iTunes Store
If you encounter this issue while while downloading something from the iTunes Store:
Delete your iTunes Downloads folder, located in:
    Mac OS X:
~/Music/iTunes/iTunes Media/Downloads   Note: "iTunes Media" may appear as "iTunes Music. Also, the tilde (~)  refers to your Home directory.
    Windows  Vista:
  \Users\username\Music\iTunes\iTunes Media\Downloads\
    Windows  7:
  \Users\username\My Music\iTunes\iTunes Media\Downloads\
    Windows  XP:
  \Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\My  Music\iTunes\iTunes Media\Downloads\
After locating your iTunes Downloads folder:
    Quit iTunes.
Delete the Downloads folder on your computer.
    Open iTunes.
Choose Store > Check for Available Downloads.
Enter your account name and password.

  • Error messages when downloading updates?

I have 4 updates availble for my app in Creative Cloud, yet each time I attempt to download the updates, I get error messages. How can this issue be resolved?

    Anirudh:
I am sorry, but the log files no longer exist.  Unfortunatly, I was getting nowhere with Adobe Support.  All these people posting in the forums and elsewhere with this same problem, and the only thing Adobe was doing was Jeff sending people to the same KB article, which really didn't help, and then placing blame on peoples network connection, etc. Of all the Adobe Tech Support people I tried to talk to, everyone just kept sending me to the same KB article that doesn't offer any solution to the issue.
So, I had to do the only thing that I knew had a good chance of solving the issue.  I spent the weekend uninstalling every single Adobe application on my machine, and removing every leftover Adobe file and reference, and reinstalling everything from square one.
It's unfortunate that I had to take that route, and that Adobe could not react a bit sooner, and better to many people reporting this same issue.
Maybe you can still help some others with this same issue.
I understand that Adobe wishes to be able to push updates out on a faster schedule, but there needs to be another mechanism besides the Creative Cloud App to be able to Install and Update software.  There needs to still be the ability to directly download and install the current version of App's, especially when there is an issue like this that people are trying to deal with.
Users should not have to spend this much time on just trying to get the software to update correctly.

  • When downloading updates for Quicktime 7 and Itunes 10 I keep getting an error saying that files shared by these updates has an invalid signature and that the downloaded has been removed.

When downloading updated for Quicktime 7 and Itunes 10 I keep getting an error saying that files shared by these updates has an invalid signature and that the downloaded has been removed. If I don't get that message I get a message saying that the download was unsuccesful and that in order to download I need to go to tools and then select dowload only. Please help I really want to update my iphone!

Thanks for helping out, but I already tried these steps.
I even tried this on a iMac with similar results. The only difference was that the errorcode was called 2001 instead of 21.
Today I took the phone to www.iphoneambulancen.dk. A guy (in Aarhus, Denmark) that specializes in iPhone repairs. I figured, that given his occupation he'd seen most errorcdes. Two hours later, he called me back, and told me that he had replaced the battery.
So, it turns out that a broken battery can cause this behaviour.
    But thanks again

    Hi, DickmoAZ.
Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.
This sounds like a permission issue most likely with the iTunes Media folder.  Here is an article that will help you troubleshoot this issue.

I keep getting network connections error when downloading update for iPhone 4. Any suggestions?

I think I solved the problem by initiating the update in a different way, from the itunes panel where I can click to start the update, instead of saying yes when asked if I want to update when itunes launches in response to the iphone being plugged into the computer.

  • Error message when downloading from Google Play Store

After recently doing the toshiba system update for my AT300-32gb tablet I now get the following error message when downloading free apps from Google Play Store -Error processing purchase {DF-BPA-13].
Automatic update for downloaded apps no longer works either. Anyone have a solution to this?

Go into your settings and touch "apps" on the left. Then touch "Google Play services" and tap "Clear data" and "Clear cache." Then touch "Apps" again on the left. Now do the same for the "Google Play Store" entry. Then hold down the power button until it asks if you want to turn it off. Go ahead and turn off the tablet. Then turn it back on and try again.

We were able to update iPhones but get an error message when trying update our iPad. Ay suggestions?

What iOS are you currently running?
If you have an iPad 1, the max iOS is 5.1.1. For newer iPads, the current iOS is 6.1. The Settings>General>Software Update only appears if you have iOS 5.0 or higher currently installed.

If you are currently running an iOS lower than 5.0, connect the iPad to the computer, open iTunes. Then select the iPad under the Devices heading on the left, click on the Summary tab and then click on Check for Update.
Tip - If connected to your computer, you may need to disable your firewall and anitvirus software temporarily.  Then download and install the iOS update. Be sure and backup your iPad before the iOS update. After you update an iPad (except iPad 1) to iOS 6.x, the next update can be installed via wifi (i.e., not connected to your computer).

    This worked for someone
I had this problem for about six weeks. I was following this forum but was too unsure of what might happen to try the fixes that were suggested.
About two weeks ago I decided to delete the downloads.28.sqlitedb file (usingDiskAid(a free program), on a PC running Windows 7). The original downloads.28.sqlitedb was 936 KB. The new one that the system created is 80 Kb., and has stayed at about that size. After about four days I also deleted all the other contents of the Download folder. Ten days later and still no more problems. Downloads are much quicker, nothing greys-out (as was happening frequently before).
Everything has worked well since with no more error messages.
I am using an iPod 4G, iOS 5.1 (originally iOS 5.0). I do not have a manifest file, and as far as I know, have not had one. DiskAid can search the whole "hard drive" on the iPod.
Deleting downloads.28.sqlitedb and the contents of Downloads worked for me.
