Error message when entering the Mac Store Content Code

I am receiving an error message when redeeming entering the Mac Store Content Code, which I received as part of the OS X Mountain Lion Up-To-Date program. The error says that 'the code has already been used...'. It hasn't. I had just received.

I'm having the same problem. This is a pretty big mix-up. A lot of people seem to be having the same issue.

When I try to access our iTunes U site from the public link it works great, when I go thru the link that has me authenticicate it works on macs but on PC's I get the error message "iTunes for Windows: Error -9812 when accessing the iTunes Store" it's happening all thru our campus with PC users. We're having similar connection issues, and the error log on our web server says something about a certificate error. I noted that last year on this date there were messages related to certificates. Is it possible they are updated every Dec 2, and we should count on some down time?

The card is registered to exactly the same name and address as you have on your iTunes account ? And it was issued by a bank in the country where you and your iTunes account are ?

If you are trying to "extend" using wireless only, you may not be aware that Apple designed the "extend" feature as a proprietary setting to only work with other Apple routers.
It is extremely unlikely that this will work with a Cisco router.
If your plans call for connecting the AirPort Express to the Cisco router using a wired Ethernet connection, it should be possible to configure the Express that way.

I keep getting an error message when installing the trial of Photoshop CS6.

I've tried installing it mulitple times and have tried some of the troubleshooting solutions but nothing seems to work and this message continues to pop up. Any help?

hi can anyone help im trying to install my officejet printer 4500 g510 n-z driver from the hp website and i keep getting an error message and i have no idea how to stop getting this message as i have tried a few times to install the drive and keep gettimg the same message im running windows 8.1 if tht helps

Error message when installing the OS Lion.

When trying to install the OS Lion an error message occurred saying "The software could not be verified. It may have been corrupted or tampered with during downloading." On the app store it says it was already installed. What could be the problem? What can I do?

I read your post carefully the first time. I just reread it carefully again.
You say you downloaded and attempted to install Lion. You got the error message it may have been corrupted during download...
Even if the App Store says it was installed, you are allowed to redownload it and the license is good for 4 Macs. You won't even lose 1 license by doing this.
You should be able to do that on the "Purchases" tab of MAS.

ITunes displays -50 error message when syncing my mac

Error message when using the DVD drive

I have a Satellite P200D and every time I put a disk of any kind into the disk drive I get an NO-DISK error message when I eject the disk. I always make sure that I shut all programs relating to use of the disk before trying to take the disk out. This is a new problem as I have used the laptop for a couple of months without any issues at all. The text of the error message is below. Any pointers would be appreciated. I can live with it but it would be nice not to have to.

Ok, if you try to eject the disk using the eject button on the side of the laptop, why not try ejecting through software in windows.
To do this right click on the dvd drive in my computer and then click on "eject". This might tell windows that its ok to let the drive go now.
Another solution would be to save all important data to another drive, then return the laptop to "out of box condition" using the recovery disc. I'd say problem will go away.
However, if problems persist, please see your place of purchase for a check up.

It seems there is very less info on how can we over ride default bundle message for the "Invalid Value" error we get
however you can create your validator for LOV and handle the validation and message in that..
Here is the link that provides a good detail on how to create / register a validator.
Once registered you can update the Validator ID of f:validate of LOV and remove the binding property value.

how can I avoid this message? The technician from Appel was unable to help me.

Doublechecking. Is that a 42023 rather than a 42032?

Strange message when entering the Testing subforum

As noted by Somali.Pirates in his thread "Hello Claudio", when one enters the Testing subforum, one gets a strange message. This is the version I get in Explorer11/Win7:
This happens to me in IE/Win, Firefox/Mac and Safari/Mac, but not in Chrome/Win. When I click on the Accept button, I enter the subforum normally. In all cases, there is that misterious "2", buy only in IE I have the option of closing the box, which apparently produces the same effect than the Accept button.

I got this error message when verifying the disk

The electricity in my apartment was abruptly shut down while I was using my imac. After I'd got all the electricity back on, I turn on my mac and found that when I verified the disk in disk utility I got this error message.
Verifying volume “Macintosh HD”
Checking HFS Plus volume.
Checking Extents Overflow file.
Checking Catalog file.
Illegal name
Illegal name
Checking multi-linked files.
Checking Catalog hierarchy.
Checking Extended Attributes file.
Checking volume bitmap.
Checking volume information.
Volume Header needs minor repair
The volume Macintosh HD needs to be repaired.
Error: The underlying task reported failure on exit
1 HFS volume checked
Volume needs repair
The repair button is in grey so I couldn't do anything. So far, the computer seemed to work fine, but what is the necessary thing to do in this situation??

I'd stay away from disk warrior etc. Try disk utility.
DiskWarrior is not a disk repair program in the conventional sense. Instead of patching the original directory, it uses a patent-pending technology to quickly build a new replacement directory using data recovered from the original directory, thereby recovering files and folders that you thought were lost and that no other program could recover.
I've never had trouble with Journaled HFS+ volumes but if I did I try disk utility to repair. Then run fsck from single-user-mode. Then, if that failed I'd pull my data off and erase.
I've never had any persistent luck with norton type utilities, the problems always come back until I erase.
