Error message when sending files

Hi! I am a long time user of Firefox and would like to use it on my Samsung Galaxy Note 2, but am having some issues. When I save a image using Firefox (press and hold on images to save), I cannot send the image via text. I get the message: unable to attach, file not supported. I am able to save images with no problem using the built-in browser and with Dolphin. It would be great if there is a way to fix it--I would love to use Firefox on my Android phone. Thanks!

Virginie, creating multiple threads for a similar problem means that you will have a hard time to follow up.
I would also recommend that you change your user name to something different than an email.

Try a Reset [Hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons down together for 10 seconds or so (until the Apple logo appears) and then release. The screen will go blank and then power ON again in the normal way.] It is app and data safe!

Get error message when sending PDF link via e-mail

I have Acrobat 9.5.5 since the upgrade I can't open a PDF file and when I do I can't send it directly to e-mail and get an error message.

When you upgraded what Acrobat? Reader? Your OS? What email program using what OS? Please give us the explicit error message.

Receiving Error Message when Combining Files

I keep receiving this error message when I try to combine my files together:
Your PDF conversion request failed.
There was an unexpected problem while combining your files to a single PDF file. Please try again later.
I have tried logging out and then logging in and trying to combine the files again as well as attempting later in the day and I still receive the same error message. Why am I receiving this error?

Please try to use 2 small/somple files to combine. If that does not work please let me know.
If one of your PDF files is an encrypted(no permission to open or edit) Combine FIle fails. You can open your PDF file in Adobe Reder then check "Security" setting from File menu > Properties >Security tab.

Keep getting error message when sending data to printer

i keep getting an error message when trying to print. window says "sending data to printer" but nothing happens and i get an error message.
anyone else experience this and how did you solve the problem?

Iphoto 09, file error message when sending book

when I was selecting images for a 52 page book iphoto froze a few times but recovered itself. But I finished book and pressed Buy book. It assembled the book, and started transmitting it. I wasnt watching all the time but it seemed to have sent about half the book size when it stopped giving me a message saying there was a file error. none of the pics had that ! appear when I was choosing the images. Clicked Retry and it started all over again. Same thing happened.
Anyone got any idea how to tell if there is a particular image that is causing a fault. I had a couple of images on a previous book that i had to remove because they were corrupted and I wondered if this was same thing. Mind you different error message this time. So maybe not?

If that works try ordering again - if it fails too then Backup your iPhoto library and rebuild it form the last automatic database backup (launch iPhoto while depressing the option (alt) and command (apple) keys

Error message when sending mail

I am using a G3 tower runnig OSX 10.3.9 with 768 megs of memory. I am using Mac Mail and had tried to send an email that I had accidentally attached the wrong file (12 megs). I realized my mistake after I hit send and I tried to delete it from the outbox. I did, but then it wouldn't let me send any emails. It just stayed in the outbox. I can still receive mail just fine. I researched your message boards and thought I came up with the solution; delete the outbox file from the library/mail/mailbox folder. I did that and then restarted. Then when I tried to send an email it gave me this error message"
"This message could not be delivered and will remain in your Outbox until it can be delivered.
5.7.1 This message has been blocked because it is from a RBL/ORDBL IP address.(connection black ip 66.205.147.67)"
My ISP tech support people are certain that this is a software problem and they won't help me. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

This is not a software problem.
It appears your IP address or a range of IP addresses
including your IP address has been incorrectly
identified by the recipient's incoming mail server as
sending spam thru the account's SMTP server and has
been black listed.
Is your computer IP address 66.205.147.67?
Have you tried sending a test message to yourself or
to another email address?
Yes, that is my ip address. Yes, I have tried sending mail to myself and it stays in the outbox after giving me that error message. Is there anything I can tell my ISP to do? Or is it beyond their control?

Could not initialize the browser's security component Error message when sending a link

Using Ubuntu 9.10 64 bit. Firefox version is 3.6.3 and Thunderbird version is 2.0.0.24
When sending a link with Firefox I get an error message "Could not initialize the browser's security component...". Tried deleting the cert8.db and secmod.db. Noticed if Thunderbird is already open I don't get the error message. But if Thunderbird is closed then opens to send the link I get that error message. Seems the security certificates aren't being passed to Thunderbird when it is opening up.

Try to remove or rename the secmod.db (secmod.db.old) file in the Firefox Profile Folder.
If that didn't help then remove or rename cert8.db (cert8.db.old) as well.

Error in the ABAP Application Program
The current ABAP program "CL_RSAR_PSA===================CP" had to be
terminated because it has
come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.
What can you do?
Note down which actions and inputs caused the error.
To process the problem further, contact you SAP system
administrator.
Using Transaction ST22 for ABAP Dump Analysis, you can look
at and manage termination messages, and you can also
keep them for a long time.
Error analysis
An exception occurred that is explained in detail below.
The exception, which is assigned to class 'CX_SY_RANGE_OUT_OF_BOUNDS', was not
caught in
procedure "_GET_DDIC_STRUCTURE" "(METHOD)", nor was it propagated by a RAISING
clause.
Since the caller of the procedure could not have anticipated that the
exception would occur, the current program is terminated.
The reason for the exception is:
In the executed program "CL_RSAR_PSA===================CP", the system
attempted to access the field
"ME->P_PSA_TECHNAME" using the length "-3".
However, a partial field access with a negative length specification is
not allowed.
How to correct the error
Use a positive length specification if a part of the field "ME->P_PSA_TECHNAME"
is to be
accessed.
If the error occurred in your own ABAP program or in an SAP
program you modified, try to remove the error.
If the error occures in a non-modified SAP program, you may be able to
find an interim solution in an SAP Note.
If you have access to SAP Notes, carry out a search with the following
keywords:
"DATA_LENGTH_NEGATIVE" "CX_SY_RANGE_OUT_OF_BOUNDS"
"CL_RSAR_PSA===================CP" or "CL_RSAR_PSA===================CM00A"
"_GET_DDIC_STRUCTURE"
If you cannot solve the problem yourself and want to send an error
notification to SAP, include the following information:
1. The description of the current problem (short dump)
To save the description, choose "System->List->Save->Local File
(Unconverted)".
2. Corresponding system log
Display the system log by calling transaction SM21.
Restrict the time interval to 10 minutes before and five minutes
after the short dump. Then choose "System->List->Save->Local File
(Unconverted)".
3. If the problem occurs in a problem of your own or a modified SAP

In the editor, choose "Utilities->More

Error message when sending photos as attachments in mail

When sending photos from i photo in mail I get an error message "Can't get paragraph 8 of content of outgoing message id 142504208. Invalid Index" I can send one photo at a time but no more than one. I have recently upgraded to leopard from panther. I tried rebooting but no success. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Error message when opening file

When opening a client's file and I keep getting the error "Adobe Muse will now shutdown. Assert: BackgroundImage is not loaded?" ...can this be fixed or am I in trouble? This is a very important client and if I have to redo their website from scratch it will most certainly lose us the account.
It does not give me this error with any other file.

Can you send me a copy of your file at [email protected] and include a link to this thread? If it's too big for e-mail (>20 mb) you could use a service like SendThisFile, WeTransfer or Adobe SendNow.
Most of Adobe in North America is shutdown this week and I'll be away from my computer much of the day but will take a look at your file as soon as I can.

Weird error message when transferring files to iPod

Hi all, I just received a 64 Gig iPod Touch in the post today. When setting it up in iTunes (I'm using 9.0.1.8), I got as far as the screen asking me whether I want to automatically sync music/videos/apps every time I connect the iPod to my computer, and I unchecked all the boxes and pressed "Done" (or whatever it said). iTunes then hung for about 10 minutes, and then gave me an error message that said something like (I didn't write down the exact wording)
"iPod cannot be synced. The device cannot be written to or read".
Now whenever I transfer music to the iPod, it gives me the following message:
"The iPod 'Phil's iPod' cannot be synced. An unknown error occured (13014)"
It seems to work fine despite the message - the music still gets transferred. Anybody know what's going on?

This message usually indicates the file does not meet ipod specifications. For many making their own conversions, this could be incorrect formatting during conversion. However, since these files were supposedly processed by professionals, would assume target format was correct but the video content pushed the video data rate above the 1,500 kbps maximum limitation. Most of my tests using QT Pro produced files with average video data rates between 1524 and 1536 kbps and in one case had to adjust brightness and contrast to make the file acceptable for iTunes sync to iPod. That is why I requested that Baseline LC profile access be added to the MPEG-4 export option to allow manual custom conversions. In any case, be sure to report your inability to sync specific files to ensure they are properly "re-mastered."

Error message when accessing file browser on NMH300

Hi, i have a problem here. The error message: "The media hub is not responding, please confirm the device is powered on and connected to your network." appears whenever i try to access File Browser on the NMH300 media hub. I tried rebooting the device, resetting the device but to no avail. I still get the error message. I am using the updated firmware 3.18.4. Any idea how to solve this problem?
Also, i can't seems to rollback the firmware to the 2.17 version even though i have done a reset of the device by pressing the reset button at the back of the device. any help on this?

Hi,
Try to press and hold down the reset button at the back of the mediahub for 30 seconds then check if its now reset back to factory defaults.
I'm curious, when you began having that problem was it at the time when you created a folder under "File Browser" ? Maybe the Linksys article below is the right way of creating folders on the mediahub or just create a folder using the mapped drive.
