Error message when trying to play a movie

hi i am trying to watch a rented movie when i gat an error message suggesting trying later error number = (-42110) not sure why any help welcomed

I've done a little research on that error code for you and it looks like it is mentioned in an article we have online, located here:

It looks like this section in that article specifically has the information you might need:
"Error 42023" through "Error 42408"
These alerts might occur when trying to authorize iTunes or during launch when iTunes checks for authorization information.
Install the latest iTunes from apple.com/itunes/download/
Remove the SC Info folder.
If that does not resolve the issue, see iTunes: "Error 42408" or "Error 42404" after upgrading to iTunes 9.0.3.

Error message when trying to play the Youtube video only on Firefox. Is it about regulations or matter of Youtube?

Ever since Youtube "change casting" (about 6 weeks ago), i can't see anymore a Youtube video even amid other sites or bloggs, with browzer mozilla firefox only (the others do it!!) because all the time sent me an error message when trying to play it. I have downloaded every latest versions of Java, Flash player, Sokwave flash player and i uninstall and reinstall all of them plus the plug ins of Firefox and the Firefox (at the end) when i put the last version 9.1 .I have this problem from updating the v8.0 when mozilla team turn off my java plug in as old (and so many others) but there isn't any new version and i can't uninstall it!.
Please give me a comprehensive answer to every possible direction. Thank you!

Error message while trying to play rented moves on Apple TV

I keep getting an error message while trying to play my rented movies. I have rebooted the Apple TV. Lowered the resolution. Restated my modem . Rest my Apple TV. Soft rebooted it and it plays all Netflix and previews in HD no problem just not the movies I have rented !! Extremely frustrated regretting my purchase extremely!! About ready to boycott!

I have been able to open a few items in iTunes, but have not been able to play even those videos from my Apple TV. I can airplay them from the computer, but cannot access them directly from Apple TV. This is a bit frustrating.

Error message when trying to import Quicktime movies

All of the sudden, I'm getting this weird error message when trying to import various Quicktime movies. I've never seen this message before:
File Error: 1 file(s) recognized, 0 access denied, 1 unknown
Any thoughts why this might be happening? Any input would be appreciated.

I now see that two of them have been encoded using the AAC, Sorenson Video 3 codec which is not one I've seen before so I suspect that would be it.
The other one I'm having trouble with is encoded using Integer (Big Endian), Animation. I know I've seen the Integer (Big Endian) codec before so do you think that because it's animation that's a problem? I imported several other uncompressed files that were encoded with Integer (Big Endian) that worked fine so that's my suspicion.

It should help you locate the media that is not playing in the iTunes library.

Error message when trying to play videos in iTunes

Updated to iTunes 10.4 using OS X v10.7 and now get error message "This movie requires QuickTime, which is not supported by this version of iTunes when playing music videos in iTunes". This did not happen in previous version of iTunes.

Basically if you run iTunes 10.4 in 32 bit mode the plugins will work!

Error message when trying to play music in iTunes 8

I just upgraded to iTunes 8.0.1.11. When I now try to play any music (except for iTunes store purchases), I get an error message that says...
The song "x" could not be used because the original file could not be found. Would you like to locate it? Then shows the cancel and yes buttons.
I never had a problem with iTunes upgrades before. I see all the songs in my library, but just can't play them. All the music was playable and worked fine before I upgraded to this version. The only thing different I did notice after installing this, was it made a new "previous iTunes library" folder dated the day the upgrade was done. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.

All Youtube videos give error message when trying to play

I've had this problem for a little over a week now. All YouTube videos, whether they are embedded on another site or on YouTube itself, do not play. Instead, I get an error message that says "An error occurred. Please try again later." Videos from other sites that are not in whatever format YouTube videos are in still work (such as Hulu, Dailymotion, and others).
Another thing that doesn't work on YouTube is when I click on my username in the top right hand corner to see a drop-down list of my playlists. The drop-down menu that appears just says "Loading..." and never loads. I have tried to follow YouTube's instructions, but I have done everything they've recommended.
I have tried reinstalling/updating Adobe Flashplayer, Adobe Reader (not that it matters), turning off my McAfee firewall, and even reinstalling Firefox 6.0.2.
I should also note that on Internet Explorer I am experiencing no problems with YouTube at all, but I really don't like Internet Explorer.

Reload web page(s) and bypass the cache.
* Press and hold Shift and left-click the Reload button.
* Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
* Press "Cmd + Shift + R" (MAC)
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

Error message when trying to play music on computer states The song ... could not be used because the original file could not be found. However, my library shows how many items and the GBs used. How do I locate the files?

When I try to play my iTunes music on my computer, an error message comes up and state "The song (title of song) could not be used because the original file could not be found. Would you like to locate it?
When I click on Locate It, I cannot find where the music file may be located. Does anyone have any suggestions?
This all occurred when I attempted to do a backup to an external hard drive. Unbeknownest to me, the files did not copy over and do not appear on the external hard drive.
When I open my iTunes library, at the bottom of my music list it shows how many songs and the GBs, so it appears that the files are still there; however, cannot be located.

When tracks in iTunes display a it means the file cannot be located; it may have been moved or deleted. You'll have to locate the file manually if it is still available. For more information refer to the following article:

Am getting PCM output error message when trying to play a video from iPad2 on my TV

The movie was purchased on iTunes store. I connected the iPad2 through the adapter via HDMI straight to the TV and I have a Bose Lifestyle system for surround 5.1 sound. After a few minutes and every few minutes after that the movie would blur and blackout then it would come back. Eventually I got a PCM OUTPUT error message onscreen. How do I resolve this problem?

Error message when trying to play/charge via dock and home stero

My new Nano 5G will play via my stero when I hook it up through my "older" dock. However, I get an error message stating something about the accessory not being supported and it won't charge while in the dock.
I noticed the older flat plug that that plugs in to the dock or my iPod Mini has two buttons to release it from either device. The older flat plug seems "deeper" than the plug I received with my new nano.
The new Nano plug will fit into the dock, but does not "seat" as well as the other plug.
Do I need a new dock? It seems silly that Apple would include an adapter with my Nano to make sure it fits into the dock, but not the plugs.

I spoke with a Mac employee who tolkd me the new Nano's software doesn't recogize the feature that charges it while in the older dock.
My choice-live with it or get a new dock.

Getting error message when trying to watch a movie on my iPad

I purchased a movie through iTunes for my iPad. I was able to watch the movie a few times now I'm getting a error message every time I try and watch it now, "you do not have permission to access the requested resource". What can be do to fix this problem?

Is the movie a movie downloaded from iTunes? The iPad can only play certain movie files. Where have you downloaded the movie from? Some DVDs or other files from other internet sources may not work with the iPad.

Error Message when trying to play iPhoto video content.

I have set up Home Share between my Apple TV and my iMac, however, when I try to play video clips, I get an error message stating the video cannot be play, but to try again later. An icon of a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark inside appears.

No matter the website or browser i use. I keep getting this error message when trying to play any video. 'the adobe flash plug in has crashed' I had had theis prolbem well over a month, i have updated flash player and firefox. no change.

I have sent nearly a hundred crash reports. no change. adobe want money with no guarantee it can fix the problem. no matter the browser or website. the video never plays. I have update virus and anti-spam software. no other error message than the unhappy lego brick with error message stating adobe flash plug in has crashed. I have place a -1 in delay or some config in adobe. No change.

I'm not sure that you saw the error msg. included in the kb, but it discusses removing .msi files from previous installations of DM.   Post back and let us know how it goes.
