Error message when trying to sign in

I enter my apple ID when trying to open iMessage. Moves to the associated email (primary email account) but doesn't accept or do anything past that. I cannot use iMessage at all.

One can also restart the computer.After it shuts down leave it off for at least a minute and then reattempt access the site once computer is back on and running. I would also check to make sure that Java is up to date and that Adobe Flash is up to date.

    If they were in your camera roll and on your phone when you last backed up, they would be included in your iCloud backup.  If you restored the entire backup you should recover them.

    This problem has been driving me demented. The instructions that Ivan gives have partially worked for me. By following his link
    "How to find out if you have multiple Apple IDs" I was able to identify that yes I did have two apple accounts using the same e mail address. One was very old that I used to use for the forum boards and one is my much more recent ID that I use for everything these days. So I changed the e mail address for the old account which is associated with these discussion boards and that's the account that I am now posting this from. However even though the two accounts now have different e mail addresses when I try to log onto the boards with my more recent main apple ID I still get all the same errors as described at the start of this thread by rodgers_j. And of course that's the one I want to use so that I only have one itunes account for everything.
    So if anyone has any more hints I'd be very grateful.

    I keep getting error messages when I try to activate iMessage on my iPad since installing iOS7. Anyone else having this issue or a solution. I can obviously sign in with the same Apple ID information/password as I have done here and I am connecting with Wifi now and in all other apps.

    After looking at some other posts I signed into iTunes and edited my password with my Mac. Then I powered off and restarted my iPad and all is good now.

    I just downloaded OS X Maverick for my MacBook Pro and along with this I got the Messages App.  I tried to sign in with my apple ID but I keep getting this message, "An error occurred during activation. Try again."  and I tried again but it didn't work.  I have the date and time automatic, ect..  Anyone Know what to DO???

    You obviously have OS X 10.9.2 as the latest version arrives when you Upgrade.
    What were you using before ?
    If you were using an OS X prior to OS X 10.8.2 (Mountain Lion's second update) then check the Serial Number is present.
    Use the Apple (Icon) Menu top left.
    Select About this Mac.
    Click twice on the OS X version.
    It will show you the Build Number and then the Serial Number (if it is present)
    If it is not you will need to visit and Apple Store or an Apple Authorised Service Provider to have it replaced.

    I recently signed out of itunes on my imac and when i tried to sign back in i get the error message: ConnectionManager::invoke::failed to find service connection url. If i try again i get another box asking if i've forgotten my password. But my password is definitely right as i just used to it make an account on this support page. Any simple ways of fixing this?

    Just to test the simple things first, did you try to sign in using another credential?
    If only yours fails, then is a RIM issue, otherwise is indeed your Playbook failure.

  • Error message when trying to sign on mac

    I sent a digitally signed contract to a client for her electronic signature.  I created the document on a PC and am able to sign it electronically (as a different user) on a PC.  When she tries to sign it on a mac, she gets an error message.  Since I have already signed the contract as the first signer, I can't remove the security, and I don't want to give her the owner password to edit the document.  She has not been able to tell me which version of Acrobat she is using.  Are there any solutions to this, other than having her find a PC to use? A screenshot of the error message is attached.

    We need to know which product (Acrobat/Reader) which version (including minor) and which OS version she is using.
    It does not look to me that she is using Acrobat/Reader at all but rather the Mac OS PDF Viewer (Preview).

    After looking at some other posts I signed into iTunes and edited my password with my Mac. Then I powered off and restarted my iPad and all is good now.

    So I just got some itunes giftcards for xmas and when I go onto the itunes store and try to log into my account and message comes up that has a red "x" and it says "We could not complete your itunes store request. An unknown error has occured(-9812). There was an error in the itunes store. Please try again later." It has been saying this the last few days and I dont know what the problem is. Can anyone help me?

    It is important that you keep IE updated. The information included with your question, indicates that you are using IE7; you should update to IE8 for your own protection. IE9 will not be made available for Windows XP.
