Error Message when uploading site

Ok I've designed my web site all looks good on iWeb
I have paid for a web domain name and hosting site
I fill out the site Publishing Settings using FTP server
I test connection and gives me the thumbs up all is ok
www.futurelegacies.co.uk
I then try to publish entire site and I get error message back saying (There was an error communicating with the FTP server. Try again later or check service provider) I have checked and everything is good at server end
Any suggestions how to upload or any how to use my designed iWeb pages and upload them another way
Suggestions welcome
Iain

I often have the same problem that solves itself after a few hours.
No explanations.

  • Error message when uploading- but document still uploads

    Hi,
Over the past few days I've gotten an error message when uploading a document to my SharePoint site (O365/ 2013). All the error message says is "Sorry, something went wrong. An unexpected error has occurred." The correlation ID is 379ed19c-706a-1000-a3f3-e1860141685e
The strange part is that the document still uploads fine. So there's no obstruction of the workflow or anything, but something still changes in the back end.
Is this occurring to anybody else?

The process of uploading a document involves a number of steps.  The upload may go fine, but fail when it tries to update metadata or check the document in.  You need to track down that correlation ID in the ULS logs to get the specific step that
is failing.  Here's a Blog post on how to find the error in the log.

[421 Idle timeout (600 seconds): closing control connection]
how do I fix this?? have already tried to resume,,, tried from scratch.  closed program and opened again.  does this each time.

Make sure you're doing everything recommended by BlackBerry:

If you're hitting reload and it isn't reloading the OS for you, perhaps try reloading a backup file you've created (hopefully you've done some backups).

  • Error message when uploading book for printing. All images are jpg and rgb. Could they be too large to upload? What size is required and how do I reduce size in Aperture?

I receive an error message when I upload my book for printing. Not sure what the problem is. All my images are jpg and rgb. Could they be too large as it takes about 15minutes to upload to Apple. How do I reduce the size of the image in Aperture?

    Hi Leonie,
    Thanks for your reply.
Error message below. The preview is fine . I can discount the first 2messages as its a new computer so plenty of disk space and upload doesn't seem to be interrupted. I have uploaded to iphoto before. have tried to upload 3times with the same error message. I had to photo my slides with a Kaiser Baas photo maker , which apparently doesn't scan but takes photos in megapixels of the slides. I am wondering now if the format is incompatible though they are jpg files or the colour type wrong. The image files are  around 1-3 mb each and  72 ppi. I think  I will now scan them properly with a scanner to 300dpi anyway to improve quality.
Apple  talks about image files not being too big for uploading but gives no sizing of what too big is?
    Error message
    1. Upload Error. Loss of connection or file corruption during order upload may cause an incomplete order. Resubmitting your order usually resolves this issue.
    2. Low Disk Space. If your computer is running on low disk space, your files may be assembled incorrectly. Create more space by deleting unused files.
    3. Unreadable PDF file or image files. Files are sometimes assembled incorrectly due to CMYK or Grayscale color space. Use the RGB color space for best results.

  • Error Message When Uploading iMovie to Vimeo/YouTube

I also get an error message when trying to "finalize project".  The loading seems to be going well and takes quite a bit of time for my 20 minute long movie.  At the end of the upload I get a generic error message saying that due to an error, my file could not be uploaded.
Any suggestions?  I have uploaded several movies to YouTube and Vimeo in the past without an issue.  Now all of the sudden I am having trouble finalizing my project and uploading.
    thanks,
    Alex

  • Error Message When Uploading My Site

    Hey,
I am trying to upload my first iWeb website. However each time I go through the publication process (file>publish), it crashes! And I get an error message saying something like "error encountered when publishing pagename : picturename.png" and then my website is not published. But the craziest thing is that it is not on the pictures that I added that it crashes, it's on pictures that are comprised in the page model (like the stars or background.png)!!!
Any input on how to FIX this???
    I would be grateful forever!!
    THANKS
    iBook G4   Mac OS X (10.4.4)

Four things could be going on, but it's fixable.
first.. make sure that your screen saver, and energy saver are turned off in your system preferences. iWeb had trouble with this in it's first version, but since the update it's supposed to be fixed, but I'd still do it.
second, it's been my experience that iweb is affected by bandwidth issues while uploading. If you're using your browser, uploading or downloading anything else... you'll get the error message and that one file couldn't upload. Make sure that when you click on the publish button you walk away from the computer and don't use it. This appears to be a bigger problem for us G4 users than the G5 folks. Also, it's a memory hog, so seriously, when you publish turn everything else off except your computer and iWeb and walk away. Seems to work for me.
Third... make sure your idisk is NOT loaded onto your desktop. If it starts refreshing and files are getting put there while you're uploading, iWeb will give you the dreaded error message.
Finally, just keep republishing. iWeb seems to bog down when you publish sometimes. I re-uploaded my entire website last night, including 7 video podcasts and numerous other blogs that have audio and video in them. I had to publish and publish and publish.... it took four tries, but it finally finished. It seems that it gets farther and farther along each time. Anyway... it works.
    Hope this helps.
    Jim

  • Solve error message when uploading to youtube

Does anyone know how to upload videos to youtube?  I never had a problem with the Premiere Elements 11, but on Premiere Elements 12, I get an error message that is not very helpful.  I've scoured every online forum I can think of for an answer and cannot locate anything useful to get over this error message.

    Janaschmidt
What computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 12 running on?
How do you upload content to YouTube
    a. For 12, Publish+Share/Social Websites/YouTube which preset
    or
    b. For 12, Publish+Share/Computer/and a choice such as AVCHD to export to file saved to the computer hard drive, followed by uploading that saved file to YouTube at the YouTube web site.
    or
    c. Both
How far do you get in the process? And when specifically in that process does the error appear? Have you tried "a" and "b" cited above? Does "b" work while "a" does not.
What exactly is on the Premiere Elements Timeline in the way of content and content duration? Are you over 15 minutes in content duration?
Please supply the above information and let us know if "b" as a troubleshooting tool works for you.
    Thank you.

Does anyone have a clue what this means and if there is a fix? At this rate I'll still be uploading songs to Match in 2013, the only thing that makes me feel better is to see I'm not the only one suffering with this!

  • Error message when upload PO (DTW)

    Dear All,
when i upload PO using the DTW, error message prompt out, but i cannot find any mistake in the upload files for both header and items. i have 10 records to upload, then i upload it one by one, there is no problem.
would like to know if anyone have idea of what is the meaning of the following error message? i have no idea about it and cannot search from the web.
    'Internal error [-2038] occurred' Application-defined or object-defined error65171
    Thank you very much!!

All 65171 errors are related to field format mismatch.  If you could DTW one by one, you may have problem with RecordKey and LineNum mismatch.
    Thanks,
    Gordon

  • Error message when viewing site in IE on PC

I've designed a site for a client using Muse. The site works great in all the Mac browsers and Chrome and Firefox for PC. When viewing it using IE, I get an error message (attached) when going from the home button to a certain page. The rest of the site works fine and the page works with nothing missing once I hit the OK button.
Anyone have any idea what is causing the error and how to remedy the IE problem? Any help would be appreciated.
    TIA

    I had a quick look at your code and found;
The issue happens on page load and is not confined to the button.
When I copy| paste the page code into my browser I can load it without errors… this suggests a script error of some kind.
    <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="css/where-to-buy.css?459606632" id="pagesheet"/>
    <!--[if lt IE 9]>
    <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="css/iefonts_where-to-buy.css?78722181"/>
    <![endif]-->
    <!-- Other scripts -->
This comment is suspicious but I can't see that style sheet to test it… did you comment it out to test a font and forget to put it back?

  • Input/Output error message when uploading a DVD to copy.

    Hi All,
I have been getting this message "Unable to Create: input/output error." when trying to upload a dvd to burn using Disk Utility . At first I thought it was a problem with the disc so I had a friend of my send me another copy. This was 2 discs. The first disc I get the error message the 2nd disc copied perfectly. My friend sent me the first disc again and I still get the same error message. It uploads about 2/3 of the disc and then the error message shows up. I tried on both my desktop and laptop and same error message on both. Both are using Leopard.
This is not a copyright protected disc. This is a personal disc.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks in Advance.

I have exactly the same problem. I'm trying to create images for all my DVDs created on Windows Vista. Unfortunately, when around 80% of the disk is already read, I'm getting:
6/4/08 9:54:06 PM Disk Utility[1872] Unable to create “Lena - prawie 2 lata.cdr”. (Input/output error). I have been able to reproduce this issue on 3 DVDs so far (all filled with 4GB of data).
The only DVD that I was able to duplicate was 1.4GM is size. Any suggestions?
    Regards,
    Marcin

  • Error Message when uploading report but report  works fine

    Hello ,
I am facing a strange issue here, when i try to upload a report in Crystalreports.com using ODC  there is an eeror message shown  - " The Open Data URI does not appear to be valid one or the server is down.Do you want to Continue?"
When I click 'ok' the report uploads and when its run  it works perfectly fine , it shows the parameters to choose and pulls the
    right data.
Has anyone faced this ? and any idea why that error message appears although every report uploaded works perfectly fine?
    Thankyou
    dpa

    Hi dpa,
The crystalreports.com server does some validation of that url to make sure it can be reached and that it returns some info to ensure it is an odc deployment.
It sounds like there is something particular about your url or odc deployment that is causing this validation to fail unnecessarily.
Could you enter a support ticket and supply the url that you are using so that we can test it out to find out what exactly the problem is?
    Thanks
    Steve

  • Misleading Error message when saving Site

Need Help, Dreamweaver CS5 reports that the root folder for the site I am saving in going to save it in another folder. I have checked all folder links in the site configuration dialogs but none point to the root folder displayed in the error message. This seems to be a configuration file error. I have multiple sites and it seems to happen on all of the site when I save any site configuration.

My local sites are setup as follows:
    Using two local webservers:
    Zend
    Coldfusion
No confilcts on webservers, I only run one webserver at a time.
    localhost:8500 is Coldfusion
    localhost:8080 is Zend
Have a testing directory with the same name as the local directory in the proper hdocs or www for the proper language.
All have remote sites and are active and functional.
Local Sites Respository (Each Site is a self contained website, Some static, Some PHP, Some Coldfusion)
    For Example:
