Got PSE 12 yesterday (windows 8) and went into the editor tonight - asked to sign in with my Adobe id, but keeps saying i need to connect to the web (which i am) - is this a known issue? Says i only have 7 days to validate....................

First be sure login and password are OK. Sometimes the address starts wit "http://..." and sometime starts with "ftp://...". Try both normal FTP access and Scure FTP access (SFTP). At the end, contact the site's provider.

What updates are you trying to download?
The last update was 9.0.3 - check by loading the editor and going to Help -> About Photoshop Elements
The last supported Camera raw is ACR 6.5 - check by loading the editor and going to Help -> About Plug-ins -> Camera Raw
Do you have a reason to update?

Error message when trying to use config editor

I received the following error message when trying to deploy the changes to the device:
CEDT0031: no command is available to download for the device X.X.X.X. REmove the device from the job and try again.

You can't do that. Instead, just remove "aaa new-model" from the config then try to deploy it. Alternatively, you can try "merge mode," but that will send the whole config back to the device.

When I Open the Acrobat XI I just purchased as download from Academic Superstore I get and error message that the serial number is invalid.

Is there something special I need to do when installing adobe Acrobat XI on my mac. I am getting an error that the serial number is wrong but I am entering the serial number provided be indent-e.com? anyone have any ideas?

I got the Serial Number from my Adobe ID account and e-mail purchase validation.
And no phone number to contact. Someone knows what I could do ?

Error message when extending skype number

Hi guys
Really hope someone can help me with this. Been dealing with skype chat and email support for hours and hours over last three days with absolutely no progress.
I have 8 skype numbers within my skype manager account and for some reason, one of them did not renew properly last week (the others renew every month or quarter). When I follow the steps to extend the number within the manager control panel (features, skype number, click on expired number, select "reactive number", pick monthly, quarterly or annual payments), I get the following message.

We're having technical problems. We're sorry for the inconvenience. Please try again after a few minutes.
The same message appears on IE, Firefox and Chrome. This is our main office number and its incredibly frustrating for us. If I try to extend via the individual skype account (rather than manager control manager) I either get an error message or a message saying "your request has been sent to your administrator"
Is there a solution out there? Is this a bug?

I'm using PSE 10 (and 9) and added Lightroom 4 as a new program.

Operating System: Windows 7, 32bit
Lightroom: Vers. 4.0 (german)
Photoshop Elements Vers. 10.0.0 (german)

Receiving an error message when texting one number - requesting use of area code. It is there in the contact information.

Received text from friend and whole number is showing. In contact all the number shows but when texting the phone shows an error & requests the area code to be added. I have deleted the contact & the text thread then rebooted the phone but still happening. Help!

I'm sorry you're getting the +1 error message! Apple is working on a bug fix for this issue, fingers crossed it is corrected soon!
There is a work around that has helped many iPhone users experiencing this:
1. Delete the affected contacts from your phone
2. Delete the entire conversation thread
Next:
Go to Settings> General> Reset> Reset Network Settings (this will delete any saved Wi-Fi passwords; no other data)
Once the phone reboots, add the contact back to your device and start a new message thread.

Error Message when trying to load PSE11 editor in Windows 8

Hi, I can't seem to launch PSE11 Editor neither directly from the file location (C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 11) nor through the Load screen. I've tried to attach a shot of the error message, but alas, windows 8 isnt even letting me do that on this browser - The text of the message says "The application was unable to start correctly (0x0150002). Click OK to close the application." Can someone please help?

I receive the error message that the serial number is invalid

I am having htis same issue. Every time i've gone to chat i've been transferred repeatedly, asked the same questions and get no help. They opened a support ticket and then closed it saying well go ahead and reinstall it and that should work.

The serial number is registered under my account.

I just ran the cleaner tool to remove CS6 and CC componenets.. just tried to install CS6. I selected install with serial and its saying the serial number I entered is Invalid.

Adobe Acrobat - "No valid serial number found. Acrobat will quit now" message

I moved some things around on my computer from the C drive to the D drive to make space, including Adobe Acrobat professional 6.0. Now, when I go to open it, I get the message "No valid serial number found. Acrobat will quit now". I have tried moving everything back to where it was, but that does not work. I do not have the CD to reinstall it, but I do have the serial number. Where do I go to enter the serial number? After the message pops up, Acrobat closes altogether and will not let me do anything.

I have exactly the same problem as Oxbay - but, I do have the CD & the serial number. When reinstalling the program, it just loads, never gives me the opportunity to save to a specific drive (which caused the problem in the first place), enter the serial number, or ask which type of installation (full or custom). I use the program erratically so no intention of upgrading to 8.0 Professional, but do need the program. You can't get into the "Help" section for a detect or repair issue. Any other suggestions would be very helpful. Thank you!

You are on 10.6.0? Why don't you download the combo updater for 10.6.8 directly from Apple and try to install it from there:

I am talking about registering the product in MyAdobe not the application. The application accepts the serial number, however, online registration is not accepted. The myAdobe ID is [email protected] and the serial number is [serial number removed]. I have 2 adobe IDs how can I transfer the applications from one ID to my preferred ID and have the [email protected] ID removed? Sorry for the two questions.
