Error message while closing mobile sales on a vpn-connected notebook

Hi!
We're working with Mobile Sales 4.0 on laptops with WinXP ...
When our field service stay connect via vpn with the central server sometimes it happens that an error-message pop up if Mobile Sales shall be closed. The text is "this program is used to host and to initialize the UF F found a problem ...". What does this text mean? What is "UF"? Why raises this error?

Dear Ingo,
Can you please ensure that the following Dlls in the machine are
registered:
1. Register all the Dlls and ocx files available in
<<Installation directory>>\Sap\Mobile\bin directory.
2. Register the dlls and ocx files available in
<<Installation directory>>\Sap\Mobile\3rd_party directory.
3. Register the sfabol.dll and msa.dll. It will be available under
<<Installation directory>>\Sap\Mobile (or in the sub-directories
based on how settings are at your end.
But before doing the same, please ensure that you
unregister the other Dll first.
As you are aware, the starting application is UFContainer.exe. The same
requires the following Dlls/OCX to be registered:
1. sfabof.dll
2. scrrun.dll in C:\winnt\system32 directory
3. ErrComp.dll
4. UFCore.dll (based on the IE Version)
5. ACTBAR.OCX
6. MSCOMCT2.OCX
7. comdlg32.ocx
8. SSLSTBAR.ocx
9. MSCOMCTL.ocx
Can you please ensure that the above are indeed registered in your case
Some of the above exists in C:\winnt\system32 directory.
Please test again, after you did the above!
If this could not help you, pls try the following:
This solution will only work with laptops/Tablet PC running IE6.0
Please check the IE version before trying to apply these changes
Here are the steps necessary to carry out the changes:
1. Download the zip file attached with the OSS and copy it into a
temporary folder Eg. C:\ForDelete
2. Unzip the contents in the same folder.
3. Locate the installed bin path of the Mobile application. Usually it
will be C:\Program File\SAP\Mobile\bin
This folder will have lots of dlls.
4. Copy
UnregisterUIF.bat
RegisterUIF.bat
in
C:\Program File\SAP\Mobile\bin and in
C:\Program File\SAP\Mobile\bin\IE60
run UnregisterUIF.bat from both the folders
5. Copy the following files
UFStorage.dll
UFIContainer.dll
UFIControls.dll
C:\Program File\SAP\Mobile\bin and in
C:\Program File\SAP\Mobile\bin\IE60
run UnregisterUIF.bat from both the folders
5. Copy the following files
UFStorage.dll
UFIContainer.dll
UFIControls.dll
UFICoreInt.dll
UFIPlugins.dll
UFITypes.dll
MobileClient.exe
UFTools.exe
into the folder C:\Program File\SAP\Mobile\bin\
Run RegisterUIF.bat
6. Copy the following files
UFCoreIE60.dll
UFControlsIE60.ocx
UFFrontendIE60.dll
into the folder C:\Program File\SAP\Mobile\bin\IE60
Run RegisterUIF.bat
7. Start the mobile client and verify if the crash at that scenario
is fixed.
8. If everything works fine delete the Temp folder with the Zip file.

Error message while closing the Notification

Hi All,
When trying to close notification the system provides error message u201CError in EDI Partner or partner profile partner number". The Relevant transaction code is QM02.
EDI relevant partner profiles are maintained in table EDPVW which has entry for as u2018VNu2019 = Vendor. It doesnu2019t have any entry for customer.
When I tried to debug the program the system looks for the entry for LI (under field partner type) for partner function number 51400 in the tables EDP13 & EDPP1. As it is not able to find this entry, it populates above error message. The entry for 51400 has been updated as KU (Customer).
But the same configuration is working fine for other notification number and its getting closed successfully.
Please help me on this.

because Message no. ZV276 seems to be comes from user-exit which you implement for VA01/VA02 Tx.

Error message while creating Sales transaction

Hi Gurus
While creating a sales transaction in Mobile Sales I am getting the following error message.
No Valid sales channel exists for this business partner enters a sales channel in the business partner sales area data.
I have checked in table SMO_KNVV, there is an entry for this business partner. What can be the possible reason? Please help.

Hi Javed,
Your logged employee should also have some sales area assigned to him/her.
This can be done by assigning you employee to sales position under sales area in CRM Org Management (PPOMA_CRM).
Once this is done and org. data is replicated to Mobile. you can very much create the transactions without error.

Warning to error message while creating a SC

How to make a warning message to error message while creating a SC against the Cost Center when the cost center is closed in SRM 4.0.
Currently we are running on SRM 4.0 with ECC 5.0 as back end and user are able to raise a SC and POs even the cost center is closed.We want to make it as error message and stop users to create a SC /PO against those closed Cost centers.

Use the BBP_DOC_CHECK_BADI.
1. Get the backend message with a getmessage* FM.
2. Check if it's a closed cost center warning.
3. Add your own error message (can be just a copy of the message you retrieved) as an 'E' error
Because this is a backend warning, you can't influence it in SRM with the message control in SRM unfortunately.

Inbound delivery is not part of Sales and Distribution. You might want to move your post to either the Logistics Materials Management (MM) forum or the Workflow forum.

Error message while shipping restricted batches

I am trying to get an error message while picking a batch in restricted status.
I have done the following:
1. Set up batch determination at shipping : Condition table set up at the Sales Org. level. Access sequence set up, Batch Search Procedure setup .....
2. Set up an error message in OVM1 for message VL 215
3. Set up condition records in VCH2 for the Sales Org level with indicator N. This is to ensure sending of batch search strategy to EWM.
When I create an outbound delivery for a 3 PL in ECC and enter a restricted batch in the outbound delivery I get no error message. In fact I can do the PGI of the outbound delivery as well.
Can you please tell me how to get an error message for this scenario.

Just found SAP is checking with the requirements date.
Anyhow click the batch split button in your delivery, and then the display batch determination
In that screen you will see 3 buttons with a paper icon, one for strategy analysis which is able to show you whether an condition record could be found and via which access sequence.
then a button for the Determination Log where you can see the details of all 5 steps that are carried out in a batch determination. And finally the Availability check button which actually takes you the CO09. Here click the scope of check to see whether restricted use stock is customized as available.

If you end up having to remove and reinstall iTunes and AMDS, make sure to follow the steps closely, including the order in which you uninstall.

I just upgraded to iTunes 11.0.1 and although my music, podcast and apps sync with my iPhone 3GS (Version 4.1), iCal and Address Book doesn't! I get the following error messages:

when i ran the job for processing the cube it showing the error like "error occurred while processing the sales partition of the sales measure group in the cube". but in log files no error massage was there. after get that error message we ran
the cube manually
at that time the cube executed successfully.
my aim when the job was run it will be process automatically but it is not like that.
can you suggest the solution.

According to your description, you get the error when using Windows Task to process a cube on a schedule, however can process the cube on SSMS successful manually, right?
In your scenario, you can process the cube manually, the issue can be cause by Windows Task was not set correctly. So you can try to process the cube using SSIS package. The Analysis Services Processing Task in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) allows
for the processing of one to many to all Analysis Services objects in an SSIS package. Once the SSIS package is created, then a job can be created within the SQL Server Management Studio which will allow for scheduling.

Hi Richy,
The cost centre which you have maintained is locked for postings. Try to change the cost center and the warning message should be gone.
If you still want to chnage the message from warning to error,you can do in SPRO-->img->SRM->SRM Server -> Cross app basic settings->message control -> Influence message ctl.
If an entry doesnt exist for this message in SPRO,make an entry in view BBPV_PDMSG (Tranx: SM30).

The disk you are using probably has a defect, not uncommon on consumer grade disks. Try another disk or better yet another disk from a different manufacturer or at least a different batch.
