Error message - won't let me burn any dvd's

Hello
Tried a couple of times to burn this DVD project using DVD SP 4.1 and the first DVD went well, tried a second one got this error message...tried a different dvd got the same message:
Formatting failed
The recording device reported the media error: Power calibration area error. (0x73, 0x03.)
Never saw this before - fix?

Also get this in the build log - don't know if this is a problem or not...

Error Message - Won't Let Me Use My Memory Chip

I need help. I turned off my phone today and when I turned it back on this message came up, "A Media Card has been inserted that contains errors. To correct the errors please use a disk error-checking utility on a computer." I previously had songs, ringtones, pictures, etc on the media card and now it won't let me access them. I hooked it up to my computer hoping it would automatically fix itself but it didn't. However, when I brought up my media manager it would let me click on my media card as if it were still there and all of the media was still there. But the same message appears. I've tried taking out the media card and everything. PLEASE HELP.

I had the same problem only when I ran the disk error checking utility, it did seem to scan and fix a huge number of issues, only I still get the same error message and now I cant seem to access my SD card from my phone. Also, when I hook up my phone to the computer I am able to view most of the pictures but not all of them. The pictures that I cannot open do not seem to be readable. They are saved as weird symbols and I cant seem to view them or save them as picture files. Can I still recover these pictures and how can I resolve this error message??? Please help

J6480 Ink Cartridge Door Hinges Broke. Door Open error message won't let me print. What can I do?

Have always been very careful with cartridge & scanner doors. Pressing OK doesn't remove error message. Broken hinges will no longer go down, so Door Open message won't go away and preventing printing.

The problem is the spring tension used to hold the cover open is stronger than the poorly designed weak hinges.
The way I solved it was to break both the hinges, (pretty easy to do just open and close the cover a few times), lift the cover up being carefull not to break the ribbon cable (wires) from the cover to the base. Then I pryed out the lower spring plates, these are located in the hinge assembly of the printer and removed the black plastic plunger and the large springs below it from both hinges. The cover wil now stay closed and allow you to print. You just have to be careful when changing the print cartridges as the cover can open too far now and possibly break the wires going to the top cover.

ITunes Error Message Won't Let Me Finish Syncing...

When I sync my iPod it comes up with and error message that says "Error occured reading iPod, the disk could not be read from or written to." I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem, and if they may have found a solution that they would be willing to share... I would appreciate the help...

this message can show up on Macs too.

called efax they said it was an hp problem. downloaded all updates. uninstalled and reinstalled printer(envy114). still same error message.

General Error Message Won't Let Me Save

I was editing an HD video earlier and I switched my audio/video settings to sequence preset DVCPRO HD - 720p24 - my capture present to DV NTSC 48 Khz (since im not capturing. i pulled files off an external hard drive - my device control preset was on SONY HDV FireWire. My video playback was on apple firewire DVCPRO NSTC 720x480. I opened another project and switched my user settings to regular DV NTSC. when I got back on my HD video, it showed that I needed unexpected rendering. When I rendered it gave the "general error" message. I had to select each clip that needed rendering and move it a little, then re render the selection. when I went to save the project it gave me the same "general error" message. I need to export this project to qucktime ASAP to put on a DVD. what should I do? pleeeease help......

sounds like you have some corruption going on, or perhaps a permissions issue (though I think that's less likely). Here are some things I'd try.
Create a new sequence with the proper settings for your footage. Copy all the clips in your old sequence and paste into the new sequence.
Create a new project with a new sequence. Copy and paste the clips of old sequence into the new sequence of the new project. Save As and give it a new file name.
Check the pathway to your Render folder and your Save folder. Make sure that permissions allow for READ AND WRITE all the way down. In other words, if your render folder is in:
Harddrive/FCP/Render
Then make sure all three have READ WRITE permissions applied. Do this by selecting them one by one and hitting CMD+I for info. Then look at the permissions.
Hopefully one of those options will help.

Premiere Elements 9 for Mac won't let me burn a DVD w. menus to DVD

So I am trying to burn a DVD with menus for a clinet. I am pretty new to all of this video editing stuff. I am a photographer that has now branced out.
I am following all of the instructions in the Classroom in a Book but I noticed a couple of things. I do not have the compression option that is shown in the dialogue box where it sets up your burn process.
Now all the encoding goes fine, but when it does get all the way to the end I get the message "internal software error" and then a bunch of mumbo jumbo that it doesn't let me see everything...
I am at a loss of why it is doing this.
I am using a 2006 MacBook Pro with a 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo with 4GB memory 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM
I am also running on the most up to date opearting system with Snow Leapord and the computer is completely up to date.
Any help that can be given is very much appreciated.

Oh believe me I keep waaaayyyy more then 50 gigs on my hard drive! As I said I am a professional Photographer so working with computers and all of the software comes easy to me generally speaking. The reasons why this is spitting my discs back at me is baffling.
The red lines only showed up once I started editing the clips because they are some of the clips that I edited, and not on the ones that I left alone because they needed no work done.
The files came in mostly off a Canon 1Ti.
As I said also, I have been follwoing the insturctions in the Clasroom in a book almost to the letter except for the one setting that it said to check off that I did not have that I could not figure out why.
This is the Quality: Fit Contents to available space part of it underneath the status and the presets!
I am truly baffeled and may burn it to my hard drive and then copy it to a disc which it says is also an option.

Getting error message when i try to burn my DVD when i am done authoring

error message says "Unsuccessful. Not enough space on media output device" I have been DVD SP 3 for years and have never gotten that message. The size of the project is under 2gigs, so the blank dvd is plenty big enough. Anyone ever get that error message?

I don't think that's the problem, Shawn. Stone, I think the problem may be your hard drive. You apparently don't have enough free space for the build. Since DVD Studio Pro needs to "build" the project before burning it to DVD, the "output device" error message is probably referring to the build location (i.e. your hard drive) rather than the blank DVD. Either clear out some stuff on your hard drive, or find a different partition or drive that has more free space.

Firefox 37 keeps crashing, Plugin-hang...aplication error message, & won't let me update Adobe Flash player

Ever since I updated to Firefox 37 my Firefox has been crashing. It started only doing it periodically, then it got so that if I scrolled down a page it would close. Then it got to the point where as soon as I opened Firefox it would immediately crash every time. I ran antivirus and Super AntiSpyware and rebooted, but it only let me into Firefox, nothing would load up. They only way I am able to be on right now is through my computer's "safe mode".
I have tried repeatedly to update Adobe Shockwave Flash Player, but when I click "run" the box disappears and nothing happens from there. It just won't update.
I am on a Windows XP computer which, as we know, is no longer supported by Microsoft, but am I really this SOL?
All scans say I am clean, BTW.
I am afraid to reset Firefox because if I can't update the flash player now, who can promise me I will be able to get anything back if I reset Firefox?
I am moments away from getting my hammer and having a meeting with my computer in the backyard, if you know what I mean. Please help.

Thank you so much for responding. I appreciate your help very much. There are TONS of these reports without "BP" in front of them. Most all reports are without a "BP" in front of them. They take forever to load from Archives and once I do get one loaded I can't locate a "submit" tab anywhere.

Strange Error Message - won't let me sync

I've been able to sync 107 of the 232 songs in my iTunes library. When I try to sync so that the other songs will appear on my iPod I get the message:
"Attempting to copy to the disk 'KDESCH'S IP' failed. The disk could not be read from or written to."
Is there something wrong with my version of iTunes? I feel like I'm miising a file or something. Any suggestions about how to solve this. It's very frustrating. I got some songs on my iPod but not nearly all of them. UGH!!

so my computer crashed a while back and i redownloaded itunes on my new laptop. when i tried to put new songs on my ipod it says i need to sync my ipod. is there a way i can do this without having to start over, so i dont have to take the time to put on each and every one of my cds on it? it took a long time and i just want to add more songs. can anyone help me. what does it mean to consolidate your library, can that help me?

i get this error everytime i try to run setup on a particular app.
could not load the dll library c:\documents and settings\owner\my documents\palm os desktop\userdata.dll. the specified module could not be found.
i did an online chat with a palm rep and he couldn't help. the provider of the app can't help either.

the application is called aapalm which is a program for archery arrow tragectory. it is a palm app. when installed on the computer, it is supposed to load into the handheld at next hotsync.

G4 imac won't let me burn to dvd-r. Sense key = blank check ?

I have a 17" g4 imac 800ghz with a super drive (not a new computer by any stretch)
I'm getting two errors one follows the other when useing toast
first i get Drive reported an error: sense key = blank check
sense code = 0x00
then i get
the drive reported an error sense key = illegal request
sense code = 0x21, 0x02
This is when useing toast
when i try to burn from finder it just says
an error occured while verifying the disk.
this disk may not work.
I've tried a few differen't brands of dvd-r
all with the same problem
i ran techtool and showed all systems were without errors, checked out fine.
i can burnand play cd's and play dvd's with no probles at all.
my gut tells me it's a software issue, but my heart and mind know not what to do.

Just to add to the already good advice, are you sure your mac has a SuperDrive needed to burn DVDs? Just beacuse you have iDVD does not mean the mac can burn them.

I figured out what was going on the app had miss represented how much space it would take it had said it was 1.2g's however it was really 1.9g's which was all I had left on the phone I downloaded it to my computer first from the apps store then was able to see this. At that point I was able to rearrange some memory to accomadate it's size thanx for the help.

Where are you physically located?
What country's Store are you using?
The two have to be the same and the payment method for your account also has to be associated (billing address, where iTunes gift card was purchased) with that country.
Has the ID(s) worked before for purchases for this country's store?

I had a similar problem recently and using the "more like this" feature I discovered an answer. To a problem posed by Holo7, who like myself was a newbie on this platform, b noir proposed a solution to Holo7's problem that also worked with my problem. It involves downloading a version of MS Windows Instal Cleanup and using it to completely remove all traces of the old version.
If you look at my problem (follow OldGit66) and the link to Holo7's problem then you will find b noir's answer which I think may help you. I am new around here so you might want to wait for one of the higher status correspondents.
