Error messages while downloading-Solution

This is not a question, but i have seen a lot of people asking about and error message saying Error=450 please make sure your network connection is active etc. or some other error number. Anyway, to solve this either make sure iTunes is allowed through your firewall system or take down your firewall completely temporarily.
IF YOU USE WINDOWS VISTA: FIREWALL IS NOT YOUR PROBLEM.
if possible, change your account type from "Standard" to "administrator" and check for purchases. You should immediately be able to download. Best of luck!

CarrieHein1234 it appears that the USWebCoatedSWOP.icc color profiles is being used by another application or process on your computer.  Perhaps start with a reboot to see if you still experience the same difficulty.  If so then look to see what other programs you have installed which might be attempting to utilize this color profile.

  • HT1577 error message while downloading

I am trying to download an update to my operating system from the app store.  Although my machine says I am connected to the internet, about 3 GB into the download, I get an error message that I am not connected to the internet.  I have no clue what's wrong.  Can anybody help?  I am on a wireless network using Airport Extreme.

i'm assuming the Error code HRESULT: 0x800763b3 means something and is the solution but where can i find the answer or am i going about this all wrong?
Yeah, this 0x800763b3 is a slightly unusual one. Normally with these, the iTunes install error code matches the error codes that people get on their Windows Update failures. But for the last two 0x800763b3s I've been involved in on an iTunes install (Liv and someone else), the 0x800763b3 on the iTunes install has been associated with an 0x8007000b on the Windows Update failures. (Liv's 643s were pretty much "generic" error message codes for Windows Update failures, which could mean anything. So that's why I/we went after the 0x8007000b, which has some Microsoft documentation on fixes.)
Doublechecking on other symptoms of your situation ... is your Windows Update not opening at all when you try to launch it?
If so, when you click "Turn Windows features on or off" in the "Programs and Features Control Panel" item, is the Windows Features dialog box empty? (No features are shown?)
(If we can't get the codes from the windows update failures, we might be able to make some progress if we can identify other symptoms that you're getting. I know some documentation for some of these codes that mentions the Windows Features thing as a possible additional symptom.)

Same problem here! Moreover, for some reason, the pictures in my iPhone 3GS somehow have been divided into 2 folders, Photos and Medialibrary. And when I open iPhone as a folder through the explorer I can see only the Photos folder, but cannot see the Medialibrary folder which stores the photos taken before updating/upgrading the iPhone and getting separated folders!!! What the hack with all of this?!!! When I connect iPhone to PC it automatically opens iTunes and starts syncronizing it, but at the process of OPTIMIZING the photos (and according to the number of photos it shows, I see that it tries to syncronize that invisible Medialibrary folder) the process suddenly stops and error message pops out Tried the sync test, tried the button DEBUG in that pop out message, but NOTHING HELPS!!! Also, when I open the Medialibrary in my iPhone, the screen get sblack all through scrolling it down, only the video clips are shown there... >.<
So, could you, apple developers, please, explain WHAT THIS PROBLEM IS ABOUT?!!!!!! FIX IT! I am getting ****** of to spend hours at the computer and reading those lame advises which do not help at all! I have my own things to do except reading your support websites. And I payed for the product ready to use, but not a halfproduct which problems should further be solved somehow by users..

  • TS3212 Error message while downloading itunes

Trying to download itunes on my laptop with windows 7, getting an error message stating "Apple mobile device" not recognized.  My ipod is registered and the error message only asks to retry or ignore, niether works, any help would be great.

    many thanks.
Okay ... something may just have gone screwy with the permissions for your usual Windows user account. Unfortunately, that's a bit trickier to deal with on an XP system than on a Vista or 7 system.
Let's first try installing from inside a different Windows user account.
Create a new Windows user account with full administrative rights.
Log out of your usual user account, and log into the new user account. (Don't use fast user switching to move between the accounts.)
Try installing iTunes from inside the new user account.
If it installs, log out of the new account and log into the usual account.
Does your iTunes launch in there?

  • I keep getting an error message while downloading music i purchased, how do i solve this issue

Hi All, can you please help. I am struggling to dowload 3 songs from an album i just bought on iTunes. It keeps giving me an error message. What should i do?

You may be able to determine the reason for this error by examining your Mac's logs with Console. To do that find the Console app - it is in your Utilities folder and looks like this
You can find it by selecting Utilities from the Finder's Go menu.
    Open Console.
If the log list column on the left is not already displayed, show the log list by selecting Show Log List from Console's View menu.
Locate system.log in the list and select it. Many date and time-stamped entries will appear, hundreds of them, and you must find the entries relevant to your Mac's problem. To do that choose Clear Display from Console's toolbar. Leave Console running while you choose Print from iPhoto again. Examine any new entries logged in Console. If there are any, copy and paste them in a reply.

  • I get error messages while downloading TV show.

I downloaded two seasons of one tv show with no problem but now I'm downloading "the shield" and get an error message on two episodes being downloaded. One episode seeems to have completed it's download of 564MB of 564MB but then I get an error that says (err=.3259). The other episode only downloaded 378 of 537 and the error message is (err=.9812). It may have said something about the connection in the window that pops up but I have no problem downloading the other episodes at the same time as these two have errors so I'm confident it's not the connection.
How can I fix this? It happens every time I try to down load the episodes. The others had no problem.

    So strange.
Does your security software have a list of files it may have quarantined or deleted?
If you aren't sure about the strength of your security software, you can supplement it with some one-time scanners/cleaners. Our support article lists tools other Firefox users have found helpful: [[Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware]]. Note that those are free (maybe a trial version in there) and should take some time to run. If they finish quickly and require a payment to clean your system, you may have a more serious infection. In that case, the specialized forums listed in the article would be a good next step.
