Error messgae in PO in SRM

Hi everyone,
I am getting an error in a PO i have the error is : - "There are different location"
I have been told / asked can this message be changed to a warning or info messgae, but i am unsure where i would look for this
Can anyone help me on this issue please.

This error message is in
message class: BBP_PD
Message number: 432
1. If you want you can supress the message using message control. This is not available in standard. so make an entry in view BBPC_PDMSG (Tranx: SM30)
2. Then use Message control option to supress this from error to warning for PO.
img->SRM->SRM Server -> Cross app basic settings->message control -> Influence message ctl
This willl defenitely help to resolve.

Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
Basic troubleshooting is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.
If the issue continues, contact the carrier to troubleshoot the network connectivity issues.

Ok so this update has taken me most of the day and with no phone either. Started out with error messgae -1 i updated itunes and rebooted computer tryed a number of times i get half way through now error message 3. Just give me my phone back i dont want to update no more

Thanks for your post. It looks as if your computer is not seeing the driver
calls and thus it gives the error saying it cannot complete that task. Does
this happen with any other example programs you run using DAQmx? What version
of DAQmx do you have? I would first recommend getting the latest DAQmx driver
version, 8.7.1. You can find this at the following link below.

Please post back if installing the latest driver does not
fix the problem.

Go to SPRO transaction
Click on IMG - >Navigate through the following path
Supplier Relationship Management -> Cross- Application basic settings -> Message Control -> Influence message control (Click here)
A new window opens up.
Select BUS2121 (Business object)
and then double click on Message control folder
on the left side.
Create a new entry with
Mesaage class - BBP_PD
Msg no - 584
Text - Preferred delivery date cannot be kept; Earliest date: &
Type - W
Standard - E

Error while changing PO in SRM extended classic Version 5.0

Hi Guys,
we are facing issue while changing PO in SRM , this is extended classic with version 5.0.
The system status is active() is error message and PO remains unchanged. Kindly help to resolve this issue. we have an approval for even PO if a user changes the qty in the PO then it calls the approval WF logic.

Error in Releasing Contracts in SRM-Error Log for user WF-BATCH

Hi,
When we are releasing contracts in SRM, an error log is being generated for a user WF-BATCH with message :
"Recipient not found
The error ocurred by processing event RELEASED_NEWLY with GUID 4530EA86C23B007700000000B0000023 and object_id= 4400000238"(Where 4400000238 is our contract no)
Also our contract is not being transported to CCM even though all the relevant configurations have been done in XI.
Is this because of the error log?? What is the issue??

Please check whether u have released that contract or not.
if u need to release purchase order from the contract, it needs to be released first.
from ur problme statement, it seems u haven't released that contract.

Error in User integration with SRM

Hi Everyone,
We are using SRM5.0 and Classic Scenario. We have a issue with user integration.
One user for whom i am trying to integrate into SRM system but it is not integrating properly.
In USERS_GEN, I am getting error as ' Assignment : Business partner person to the user is not unique'.
And in PPOSA_BBP , when i try to see the user organizational assignment, i could see that the assignment is properly done.
But the BP of the user is missing. Only CP and the user ID is avaiable without BP number.
And in the details of the position (for this user), there is a error 'Attribute check for (position name) failed'.
I could see that all the attributes are maintained correctly and also i tried replicating the HR data again by PFAL, but nothing succeeds.
Please provide some suggestions of how it can be solved.

Hi,
You can correct the users by deleting the assignments of the users in transaction PPOMA_BBP and then adding assignments of the users again.
For this purpose, position the cursor on the business partner of the user, select the context menu with the right mouse button and choose 'Delete -> Assignment'. Note the business partner number and then assign the business partner to the position again. Restart transaction
USERS_GEN to check.

I am deploying on SRM server with WAS 7.0 so I guess that is not the reason. If you can notice in the error it is trying to find some container which it is not able to find. Do you have any hint what this container is??
Also i would like to know what is the content of the SRMMDM20SP02_2_BP_SRM_MDM.sca. Does it gives us a UI like the Configuration UI?? If so can u please send me the link via which i can access it coz i didn't find any such link in the documents.

I have never seen this tab. Is it a custom tab? In any case, by looking at your error message, I suspect somewhere in your iView definition, the object type is mistaken. Instead of "SCH", it most likely should be "SHC", which is the default process type for shopping cart.

There could be many issues..
or some data issue.
can you recreate the same issue you can fix it.
it could only one incident so you should thoroghly check what piece of data is wrong.
what actions are you doing in the purchase order.

1.Create a change version on any Purchase order.
2. Edit quantity of any item
3. Dont press 'Enter key'
4. Clickk on Order button.
Application gves dump 'Buffer table not upto date'
but it is very difficult to say what is the issue. request your technical resource to look your dump.
if you recreate the issue half of the problem resolved.

Classic Scenario_Tolerances error for GR posting in SRM

Hi,
I am getting error "quantity too high" and "System status is INCM is active" when i try to post goods receipt in SRM. we are on SRM5 and under classic scenario. For the shopping cart, i posted PO with 10% over tolerances,which is configured already and system allowed to create PO with over delivery tolerance.
Where as when i try to post GR against this PO, i am getting this error. i think SRM checks against PO while posting GR for any tolerances.
Here is example: SC qty is 100, PO qty is 110 (10% over delivery tol is setup) ,in GR i am confirming against PO qty 110 ,i am getting error.
All my tolerances were setup in ECC only. I haven't set up any tolerances in SRM and in org structure.
Appreciate any inputs.

Same as backend we need to maitain tolerence in SRM also there is attribute TOG
where we have to maintain the values.
for Maitaining the Tol key goto T.code BBPCTOL
you can maintain the limits here

Javascript Error in EP7 when accessing SRM - Shop iView - SRM5.0

Hi SDN
We are expriencing a problem with our "Shop" iView rendered via EP7. On a PC with the Sun JVM 1.4.2.10, when the Shop iView/Page loads, our users are havong a javascript error in their IE instance. I've started the JVM console and got this description of the error.
--> One funny thing, is that this error is not occuring if we are switching to the MS JVM embedded in IE...
Have you ever had that on your side? What can be done to fix this? We are on SRM 5.0 SP11.
