I'm unable to download books to my Kobo eReader. I keep getting a msg 'Activation Limit Exceed'
Can anyone help me please?

I cannot load books from ADE to my ereaders anymore. Error message says Activation Limit Exceeded. What do I do?

You can have a max of 6 devices registered/authorized/activated at a time (computers, tablets, ereaders)
If you have some still registered you do not need, deregister them. That should allow you to register others.

They can reset your authorizations, and then you must reauthorize any devices you still need.
(Unfortunately, Adobe haven’t got round to an admin website for viewing and editing authorizations.)
Some of the representatives haven't been properly trained and don't know what to do (and claim there is nothing they can do);
in that case the only way seems to be to give up that chat and try another session hoping for a properly trained representative.
If your problem is with another device using Overdrive, Bluefire, Aldiko or similar third party app, it is recommended not to mention that app when on the chat, just mention that you have run out of authorizations (E_ACT_TOO_MANY_ACTIVATIONS) . Thanks to AJP_Bear for that tip.

i have found this entries in our error-log in one of four servers. We use Sun Directory Server 5.2 P4. We use replication to all 4 servers. All Servers are configured as multimaster.
ERROR<38994> - CSN Generation - conn=-1 op=-1 msgId=-1 - Internal error csngen_adjust_time: adjustment limit exceeded; value - 2845858, limit - 86400

This can be a serious error which can prevent replication from working properly.
Please make sure all of your machines have synchronized times.
You may want to restart your servers as well.
I believe that a bug was fixed in 5.2patch4 regarding excessive CSN time adjustment. You may want to upgrade to this release if not done yet.

This error message would only pop up once we have installed the product on two machine already and trying to get the product installed and activated on a third machine .
I would request you to please connect with the Adobe support team over the phone/Chat and they should be able to provide a solution there and then for you .

When I am debugging the select query.the cursor will not go to next step.after 15-20 minutes i am getting runtime error(time limit exceeds).

Looks like whole SD flow you trying to fetch in single query
First you check the database statistic of these table are upto date in system ( Check with basis team )
if this query was working fine earlier.
Most of table involved are huge volume tables which queried with any primary key
Any secondary index on created for LIKP on VSTEL WADET ?
My suggestion would be split the selection queries and make use of primary or existing secondary index to fetch the desired result if possible. For testing purpose split the queries and find which is taking more time and which needs index by taking squel trace in ST05.
Also take ST05 trace of this query in debugger ( New debugger -> special tool -> trace > ST05/SE30)

one of my OBIEE Report is throwing the error called *"Governor limit exceeded in cube generation(Maximum data records exceeded.)"*
I am using OBIEE 10g.Could you please suggest me here and report also runnig for long time like to get one day data it is running for 30 min to pick 9000 rows.

Also refer to : OBIEE 10g: Error: "Governor Limit Exceeded In Cube Generate. Error Codes: QBVC92JY" or "Maximum number of allowed pages in Pivot Table exceeded...Error Detail" When Displaying a Pivot View or Chart [ID 1092854.1] if it did not solve the issue.

Need Help with "ldap_search: Administrative limit exceeded" issue

I recently created an index for an attribute called abcSmDisableFlag. When i perform an Ldapsearch using an application owners binddn, 10 entires are returned before i get the error: ldap_search: Administrative limit exceeded. When I use the Directory Manager I do not get this error while the same 10 entries are returned.
I have analyzed the error and access logs and i think the problem is with the index (notes=U). I performed a reindex on the attribute but it din't work.

I have indexed both abcIdmDeleteDate and abcSmDisabledFlag with a presence and equality index.
I am using Sun Directory Server 6.2. All the nsslapd limits are at Default value and I am not supposed to increase those values.

I don't know if your issue has been resolved but two things i see here:
1 - you should not be on 6.2, move to 6.3 or 7.
2 - your filter is the answer, when you use a filter of "(&(objectclass=abcIdentity)(abcIdmDeleteDate<=2010-09-16)("\!"(abcSmDisabledFlag=1)))", DSEE takes the 1st part of your filter, in your case objectclass=abcIdentity, and does a search on it. Then after retrieving all entries it checks all that have an abcSmDisableFlag <=2010-09-16 and finally out of the remaining entries it will check which do not have an abcSmDisableFlag=1.
The search on objectClass is resulting in an unindexed search, apparently. What you need to do is alter the order of your attributes in your search filter and have objectClass at the end.
I hope this makes sense and helps.

IDVD project length error msg

I got and installed the MCE 16x Superdrive in my dual G5 tower. It's worked perfectly for several months now, burning CDs, DVDs, and DVD-DL perfectly. Now, all of a sudden, I wan't to burn a 2 hour and 2 minutes iMovie and I keep getting an error msg "Your project exceeds the maximum allowed content duration. You will not be able to burn your DVD"
Where is this coming from? I'm on 10.4.4 and iMovie HD and iDVD 5.0.1
As I said, it's all worked perfectly for a number of months but now, I seem to be limited to a 90 minute DVD again.

Well, I finally got through to MCE, and it seems that the OS upgrade to 10.4.4 made my computer now require a little patch for iDVD 5.0.1, which they promptly sent, it took 10 seconds to install, and now the 8 gig DL option appears in the iDVD "Project info" window.
Just so anyone else who has this happens will know what to do!

Master and Consumer are synchronized using ntp.
The problem is that someone has "played" a few weeks ago with the time of the server to make some tests.
I have tried to export / import the database using db2ldif/ldif2db but nothing repaired the directory.
I have deleted the changelog directory with no result too.
I have seen such a problem on this forum but nobody gave a concrete solution to it.
Does anyone experienced that ?

I have an Script mostly that is generated by SSMS which works with-out issue on SQL Server 2008, but when I attempt to run it on a new fresh install of SQL Server 2012 I get an Msg 8631. Internal error: Server stack limit has been reached. Please look for
potentially deep nesting in your query, and try to simplify it.
The script itself doesn't seem to be all that deep or nested. The script is large 2600 lines and when I remove the bulk of the 2600 lines, it does run on SQL Server 2012. I'm just really baffled why something that SQL Server generated with very
few additions/changes AND that WORKS without issue in SQL Server 2008 R2 would suddenly be invalid in SQL Server 2012
