Error msg: E_ADEPT_IO ActivationServiceInfo Error%20#2032
Due to a problem I ran into during the first installation of Adobe Digital Edition, I have been trying to uninstall and then re-install it again and keep running into the following error,
Error Activating: E_ADEPT_IO ActivationServiceInfo Error%20#2032
Any ideas how I resolve this problem?

I Finally got mine to work. I hadn't changed anything on my computer, but it just started giving me this error and the E_ADEPT_DATABASE error out of the blue. Nothing really worked. I tried redownloading the program, restarting my computer, changing my internet settings to "automatically detect...", yelling, anger, sadness, evil eye.. you get the point. Anywho, after several successful attempts, this is what works for me:
By the way, I run Win 7 and mainly use ff. Unfortunately, FF does not work with this.
Using the search bar in Win 7, type in "Allow". This should pop up the link to "Allow a program through Windows Firewall". Clickety-click.
Click on the button that says "Change settings". (Maybe be fast or slow).
If Adobe Digital Editions is listed, click it (I have home/work checked but not public). If it is not listed - Click on "Allow another program.." (really that what the button says. Find Adobe Digital Editions and click.
Click on OK.
Open the acsm link through Internet Explorer (FF won't work). It should download no problems.
I have tried this with FF and it did not work. I had to go back and "Allow" ade again.
Works in IE if I automatically detect... or not.
Is still annoying because it worked fine before. I want things back the way they used to be!
I know that this is somewhere on the Adobe site but I had a hard time finding it.

Since 5 hours I try to activate Adobe Digital Editors and continously get
E_ADEPT_IO ActivationServiceInfo Error%20#2032
I have already :
1/ changed Firefox for Explorer to download ADE
2/ turned Firewall and anti-virus software off
3/ change proxy settings for "automatic"
4/ started ADE as administrator
5/ changed compatibility for :
a/ XP Windows service Pack 2
b/ Vista Service Pack
c/ Windows 7
and .... what I've got is this error.
Can somebody help me ? Please ....I tried all of the above too including restarting and even switching the router, I also tried different PCs, and still get the same error message.
Oh yes and I tried the customer support, which told me to ask here.
Help, anybody? please -

I´m trying to open an excel file in numbers not being successful. The error msg is unexpectedly error using plugin SFCompatibility can you help me? Already changed the extension of the excel document to xlsx an now gives an unknown import error.
In Excel have you tried saving directly to xls (not xlsx) and opening the xls in Numbers?
If you have a complicated workbook in Excel that uses lots of Excel's advanced features, Numbers may not be able to handle the import. It does pretty well on basic things, though.
If you're just trying to get data into Numbers, then often copy-paste from Excel is easier than trying to open xls files.

Like the topic says, i have tryed to reinstal itunes but with same results.

what shuld i do next need it to work so i can use my ipod.let's first check to see whether or not that is associated with a broken QuickTime. (itunes needs a properly functioning QuickTime in order to work correctly.)
try launching your QuickTime. does it:
(a) launch perfectly fine?
(b) fail to launch with an error message? (if so, what does it say?)
(c) exhibit other peculiar behavior? (if so, could you describe it for us?) -

You are in the Final Cut Pro forum and find more focused help over in the FCExpress forum.
That said, usually these messages arise when you are installing an older, non-intel version of the software on an intel machine.
You can not update it, you need to purchase the upgrade to the current Universal Binary (aka intel ready) version of the software for it to run properly.

Try hitting the esc key whenever you get the message.
You are probably using FCE 3.0 which was not designed to run on Intel Macs. -

After receiving the error message I try to resend. Get second error message. BUT AFTER ABOUT SIX TRYS THE MESSAGE IS SENT.
