Error msg in attempt to download app update
Received error msg when trying to download update 3.1.2 to maccleanse - "We could not complete your purchase. The product distribution file could not be verified. It may be damaged or was not signed." Is there a fix for this problem?
Most likely pirated software.
FYI... your Mac does maintenance for you. There's no need to download purchased or free so called "cleaning" utilities on a Mac.
If you have problems with your Mac, you will need to use Lion Recovery, not third party.
I did an ASC forum search for MacCleanse here. Way more negative input then positive.

Since migrating from Windows 7 to Windows 8 and upgrading to iTunes 11, the latter has frozen while syncing my devices, usually while at the “determining apps to sync” stage of the process. If I am attempting to download app updates before attempting to sync, the problem normally occurs at the first “installing app x” stage. In addition, the whole iTunes experience is extremely sluggish and will even freeze while searching for a track. Everything worked fine on Windows 7. So far, I have repaired the program several times and have checked for compatibility issues, but there is no Windows 8 option in the combo box, obtained after right-clicking the icon and selecting Properties/Compatibility. As a result, I am unable to sync my devices. If I uninstall iTunes before re-installing, will this affect my iTunes libraries? Does anyone have any suggestions?
After going by elimination to isolate if the problem was from (1) iTunes app, (2) my computer or (3) my old iPhone 4G, I figured out what my problem was.
1) First I deleted & reinstalled iTunes on my Windows PC without succes, my playlist did not changed on my iPhone.
2) I tested a successful #sync from the iMac at work.
So my conclusion is: The hard drive on my Windows PC is full and that is affecting iTunes SYNC functionalities.
So I'll do a back-up then run a "Clean Install" of my Windows OS, hoping that it will fix my SYNC problems. -
Security code is invalid error message when trying to download app update
When i attempt to download an app update on my IPhone 4, the phone gives me a "sign in required" message and then brings me to my billing information. It then states my security code is invalid but it isnt.......
Also, make sure your billing address is exactly correct. iTune's accounts seem to be very sensitive about this.

When I double click on an attached file, a dialog box pops up with the following error:
C:\Documents and Settings\Customer\Local Settings\Temp;C:Temp could not be saved, because an unknown error occurred.It tries to save under the C:\Documents and Settings which is a system folder which users are not allowed to write files (just links to other folders).
How about changing the Download folder to C:\Users\<YourUserName>\Downloads

Just attempted to download current update of Itunes into my HP computer with Windows 7. I've never had trouble before but now it will not run. Runtime Error R6034 an app has make an attempt to load the C runtime library incorrectly. Itunes Error 7
Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

4.Tap "View Apple ID"
5. Enter your user name and password.
6. Tap "Country/Region."
7. Tap "Change Country/Region"
8. Select the country/region where you are located.
9. Tap "Done".

I'm getting a Download Error warning after attempting to download and install CC. No error code – just a button prompt to Reload Applications which takes me straight back to the Download Error. All my previously installed CC apps work fine but I need to upgrde to be compatible with colleagues. Thanks
I'm having exactly the same problem......I'm running an iMac with OS X 10.10.1. We have BT fibre optic business broadband. Everything has been running just fine until about 2 weeks ago when the apps in my CC panel just disappeared. I have made no changes to our systems and I am the only person to administer it all.....

I have downloaded app updates except my Tom Tom navigation. I'm getting the error on my i phone 'Cannot connect to the i tunes store. Wi fi is working fine.
Any ideas?Same here on my lpad2. Can access the web just fine from browsers but cannot install new apps or updates in appl store. Seeing a few others reporting same issue tonight so likely an apple server issue and staff will notice it in network monitors and fix it...sometime this weekend.

I am using Quicken 2007 (16.1.4) and had no problems before upgrading to OS 10.10 Yosemite. When attempting to download security updates from my financial institutions (UBS and Fidelity), I get the following error: Quicken could not connect to the server. Please try again later. [OL-290] I understand this is because of a mismatch between SSL certificates at the financial institutions and Apple's SSL certificate included with OS 10.10 Yosemite. Any fixes to this issue?
I have the same problem but Q for Mac 2015 does not meet my needs. Is there a fix for this problem?

Can't wirelessly download app updates to my ipad2.
I have been unable to wirelessly download app updates to my ipad2. I can download them from my PC and then sync, but when I try to do it wirelessly, I get an "An unknown error has occurred." message. Any thoughts?
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
Finally, if the Restore doesn't work, let the battery drain completely. Then recharge for at least an hour and Restore again. -
Downloading app updates problem - iTunes 11.1
Since I downloaded and installed the new version, it keeps freezing when downloading app updates, they get so far then sort-of hang. I get no error messages. Is there a way I can stop a download and restart it?

I had this problem as well and found a way how to solve this:
You need to reset your iPhone by pressing the Home button and the Power button simultaneously until the iPhone reboots.
After it rebooted I unlocked the phone, connected it to my PC and ran the iTunes sync without any problems.

If you want to use your current ID you will either have to provide a credit card or redeem an iTunes gift card. Otherwise you can create a new ID without a credit card to purchase free apps by following this exactly as written: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2534.
