Error msg: Insufficient memory to compress SWF

When I publish SWF, export to HTML being the only checkbox checked, I get an error message: Your computer does not have sufficient memory resources to compress the SWF file. I am using Captivate V 4 (trial) on a fairly new PC, with 3.25 GB of RAM. The SWF cmpletes after I OK the error msg. SWF file is only 12,295 KB, and it seems to run fine. What could be causing this message? I don't really know if the final SWF is compressed or not.

Did you get a result? I am in the same boat. I have licensed 3, but witht he Capitate 4 trial  I needed a way to export to PDF or get the content into a forum suitable to post (like a video) and my session is 18 minutes long - full motion capture (I know, I know). So my PDF is 123 meg. but I get the same crap out message. And I really do think it should come in at a much smaller size (Captivate 3 returns about 45 meg of similar quality for about 12 minutes). And I have 4 gig on my Dell (3.6 Gig addressable).

  • Office for mac - Word error message "insufficient memory"??

I'm not sure if I'm in the right help section, so apologies of not and point me in the right direction?
My problem: I copied about 2 pages of text in a Microsoft Word (for mac) document, opened a blank document, and attempted to paste the text there. The text transferred, but when I attempted to save the document Microsoft closed, without saving, and offered to send an error report.
Alternately, I copied the text, closed Word, re-opened it to a blank document, and again attempted pasting the text. This time, an error message pops up that says "Insufficient memory. Save document now." after which it will let me save the document, but won't let me paste anything. So confused.
    Thanks for any help!
(I also emptied my trash, just to free up some space and see if that helped, but even though its been ages since I've done it it didn't seem to make a difference.)

How exactly do you specifically update Office? I ran software update, but nothing for Office came up.
Choose "Check for updates" in the an Office program's Help menu.
Just to check if it worked, I opened the original document and selected Save As, and it allowed me to save it under a different name and re-open the doc, and then edit and save it - so I can go ahead with my work, but it would still be good to resolve the issue.
Hopefully just updating will take care of it. Just remember than an "insufficient memory" error never means insufficient memory. It means the program is buggy. While very powerful, Office is somewhat on the buggy side. It is updated pretty frequently however.
If you continue to have problems, there may be some specific issue that is causing your problem and can be fixed. The best place to investigate that would probably be Microsoft's own support forums.

  • LMS3.2 :Why did I recieve an error msg: Insufficient no. of interactive responses(or timeout) for command

    Hello,
I'm deploying ssh v2 using RME netconfig, LMS 3.2.  It failed in some devices with this message error:
Deploy command partially failed Primary Login Succeeded / Primary Enable Succeeded Insufficient no. of interactive responses(or timeout) for command: crypto key generate rsa .
Despite this message I am able to log into ssh devices with are failed. I check the ssh configuration (in cli) in those devices and I'm supprise to see that the ssh config is correctly deployed. So why did I receive an error message in Netconfig job details ?
    Regards,

    Hi Nael,
In my case the timeout is due to the long length RSA key (2048). The  catalyst 3560 take arround 5 minutes to generate the key. I think that LMS loses the connexion to the device at this moment. Even if I change telnet timeout for 1 hour, the probleme remain the same. But when I change the RSA key length for 1024 there is no fail. What do you think about it ?

  • Insufficient memory error while installing JRE 1.2.2

At the moment I am having some problems installing JRE 1.2.2 on a HP proliant DL380 G3 machine (with two XEON 2.8Gb processors) with windows 2000 SP 3 installed. The error is Insufficient memory available to run setup. Close any programs.. bla bla. Error 111. While the machine has 4Gb of memory installed and only 200mb is in use.
I have tried 1.2.2.011 (Pentium 4 bug solved) and 1.2.2.014, both with the same result. Unfortunaly I need the 1.2.2 and cant switch to version 1.3 or 1.4.
PS I also experienced almost the same problem while installing Oracle 8.1.7 on the same machine. And solved this by renaming symcjit.dll to symcjit.old and use the next installation options : JRE_MEMORY_OPTIONS=-nojit -ms64m -mx128m
Has anyone seen this problem and solved it or is there any way to give some additional options to the JRE installer?
    Thanks in advance,
    Frank Zomerdijk

    I found a bug report at: http://developer.java.sun.com/developer/bugParade/bugs/4643265.html
    And there by the "work a round";
In order to install j2ee onto your server (with 4Gb or more) you might use one of those:
    1) Pull some DIMMs out of your server till the memory is less
than 4g. Install j2ee and than put the DIMMs back.
    2) Install j2ee on the other machine and than just copy
installed directories over to your server.
I will test the second option tomorrow.

  • Insufficient memory to load catalog

I get the error message "Insufficient memory to load catalog" when trying to load a model in systembuild.
I'm running MATRIXx v6.3 on Windows 2000. The computer has 512M of RAM and I've not had this problem before.
    Any ideas?

    Hello,
This error might be that the computer at that moment is running out of memory. If you reboot the computer will you still have the same error? What else is running in your computer? If you check the memory usage in the Task manager, how much memory do you have left?
    Thank you

  • Insufficient memory was available to complete the operation

    Hello,
I am having trouble using the "place" function to drop a JPEG with a size of approximately 7.6MB into Illustrator CS5.  I am creating cross-sections for drill hole planning, and I use the images exported from Geosoft's Target as a base.  From there I interpret the geology, precious metal occurences, plan drill holes in Illustrator.  I am by no means an expert with Creative Suite, but I know enough to get around.  My computer has an i7 processor, 8GB RAM, and 750GB of hard drive space.  My intentions are not to be rude, but do not waste my time assuming  I am a complete idiot (e.g. I rebooted my machine, rebooted the program, checked to make sure I have plenty of space available, etc...).  I worked all night last night without issue, and create all of my cross-sections using this method.  I typically never get any issues, but this problem has randomly cropped up twice (the last time it eventually stopped).  Unfortunately, I do not have time to magically wait for Illustrator to right itself as I need to present to my Sr. VP on Monday.
    Cutting to the chase:
I exported a drill hole fence from Target as a JPEG with a file size of 7.6MB.  I then opened up my cross-section template (.ai file) in illustrator, went to File|Place| and accessed the file (I also tried to File|Open).  Rather than performing the operation I get the error message "Insufficient memory was available to complete this operation".  I then restarted my computer, and attempted this again.  My CPU usage is fluttering at 3% +/- 2%, and the Physical Memory is at 31% usage.  This seems pretty "buggy" to me, but as I said I am a "beginner user" and perform very basic operations in Illustrator.  I have looked around the forums and have seen this issue come up several times, sometimes with very complex advice.  I have no plug-ins installed, and have not fiddled with any settings.
Thanks ahead of time for any help provided.
    Scot

Thank you, Mike!  That worked for me.  Although it doesn't really answer the question I am not too concerned since 99% of the time I have no problem.  I guess that is a follow up to the other suggestions as well.  I worked from 5PM to midnight last night, and made several end product cross-sections.  Then this morning it just decided that it was going to stop working.
For now I am not going to ask too many questions, and will just avoid directly importing the JPEG's from Target.  When I get more time perhaps I will try to actually get to the root of the problem as opposed to using a work around.

  • Insufficient memory error msg

When I try to publish a Captivate 5 project, I'm getting this error msg:
I've tried playing with publishing settings, but nothing is working.  Anyone have any ideas??
    Thanks - Amanda

    Hello,
Are you using Captivate on your HDD, not on a network? And do you get this message for all the project, even for small ones? Can you try to clear the cache, except for the present project?

  • "not enough memory to create CORp_PSLMalloc" error msg

    Hello everybody,
I've been getting this error msg every time I try to render a 1920x1080 composition. It has particles and high-res photos, but that's about it, (no video).
I'm on a 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo with 2.5 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM... and error msg actually reads "not enough memory to create CORp_PSLMalloc" / (132 K requested, 51K available)
Can anybody please tell me if I'm not setting this render right? I'm using H.264 compression, with highest quality and frame frequency set to automatic. it's 1920x1080 16:9 with no sound...
Thank you very much for your help!

    Mylenium,
Applied all masks in the photoshop files, but had the same problem, same error msg... it's strange indeed, i've been having problems with the user and the session (that i also don't quite figure out, this user has administrator rights but when I try to save files into a folder i get an error msg saying that the file is locked and i can't). Do you think it might have something to do with that? Like, AE trying to access the files but somehow having problems with that?
I'm on a Imac by the way...
Thanks a lot for your help!!

In our application we are using FlashLite 4.0 and Action script 3. Around more  than 10 SWFs in this application. But after multiple traverse from one SWF to other getting "insufficient memory error" from FlashLite. Have any other mechanism is available to avoid this memory leak?
We already tried to unload the loaded SWFs, but it was not success. And also taking too much time to load new SWF (more than 5 seconds). Please suggest a useful method to avoid this memory leak and getting better performance.
    Thanks

Ending up with below error while executing a DI job. The job uses a file of size 37 MB as source. As the error looks something related to memory. I have tried splitting up the input file into and executed the job. The job completed successfully without any error.
Could someone help me out to find any memory setting which needs to be investigated in the dataflow level to get a permanent solution for it.

    Hi,
loading a 37MB file shouldnt be a problem without splitting it. i´ve loaded GB size flatfiles without problems.
Did you checked the error.txt as stated in the message? Whats in there.
If you split the file and you can load it, you have enough space in your DB.
Please check the memory utilization of your server during executing the job with one file. Maybe the Server is too busy...what would be strange with a 37MB file.
    Regards
    -Seb.

  • Why am I getting an insufficient memory error in Illustrator?

I am getting an insufficient memory message on my illustrator program when I try to work on a particular document.
I remember long ago when I used to install my programs on my Mac there were memory settings for the graphics programs.
Does the pc work the same way? I am really at a loss as to why this error is coming up. In 5 years of working in Illustrator on the pc here, I have not gotten this message before now.
Now I get a new laptop and suddenly I get these errors. I am using Adobe Illustrator CS4 14.0.0 on a new Dell Inspiron 6400 running Windows XP with the latest service pack and patches.
Is there a memory setting in the application I should be looking at?
    Steve

you didn't mention about the job size do  u working on small scale and about how much ram you are using currently, mostly these type of errors occurs when you are mutitasking and working on big file sizes in illustrator

  • Claris CAD saving issue, re-save gives insufficient memory error

I've been running Claris CAD for many years using OS8.5 but my old machine has finally died.
I've got a newer machine running 9.2 and the package works with the exception of saving. The initial save is ok but when I go to re-save / over write I get an error message telling me there is insufficient memory.
    Thanks

Claris CAD is a little old, and was invented before larger disks became available. I find it is telling me that the drive on which I am trying to save is essentially full. To Claris CAD, anything over 2 GB (or maybe its actually 4 GB) seems to be full, regardless of its actual fullness, because it is not looking at the size correctly -- it is ignoring the high-order bits.
The solution is to give it a place to save that is small enough to be seen as not full. This can be a floppy drive or Zip drive on an older Mac or an external drive or memory stick partitioned to be smaller. Then use the Finder to move the file to its permanent location.

  • My iPhone won't sync, incorrect insufficient memory error

I have an iphone 4 32GB, running iOS 6.1.  I'm running iTunes 11.0.1 on my Macbook Pro.  I have a meagre 2.3GB free on my phone.
In the last few days I have noticed that my iphone isn't always recognised: when I connect via USB I get the new phone set up screen - from time to time, but not always.  I became extra diligent about ejecting my iPhone from iTunes each time I unplugged it (I choose not to sync over Wi-Fi).  That seemed to sort that problem out.
Today I'm unable to sync at all.  When I try, I get a message that my iPhone cannot be synced because there is insufficient memory; that I need an additional 18.3 GB to sync my library.
I've restarted (phone and computer) and have even restored from backup.  I'm holding off doing a factory reset, my next step will be to remove and readd files to try and spot the problem.
I think the problem is linked with podcasts: I have about a dozen that update weekly, and I have been keeping back copies on my phone.  All up my podcasts take up about 6GB.  I have nothing concrete to support my suspicion, other than that it seems that podcasts have been basically difficult to manage since updating to iOS 6.0.
    Any ideas?

Okay, I've deleted my backlog of podcasts, which freed up more than the 6GB I thought they were taking up.
I still had the same sync problem though.  I found an old reply to a similar issue on the forums, and the suggestion was to back up, delete all music, then reload it.  I'm in the process of doing that now - I've deleted the music, and am syncing to get it back on.  I'm currently at song 2667 of 3560, reporting 9.64GB free.  If I get to the end of this and get the same error message, I'm going to be mad!!!
What has become clear to me is that users have had this issue over several years now, and there's no formal Apple response, and (because it's still happening) no sign of a fix.
It seems that the problem is that sometimes, when syncing, iTunes thinks it will be adding your iTunes library to your phone, in addition to the files already on your phone (i.e. it doesn't account for overwriting or skipping tracks already present).
I'll keep people posted with my progress, and hopefully one day this will be useful to someone else in my situation.

  • "Insufficient Memory" error message

I got “Insufficient Memory” error messages in working on the job needed large files ( > 100MB) with AI 5.5 in office with below #1 PC spec. Error message starts to happen after working 15min to 1 hour depends on the file. I need to restart computer in each “Insufficient Memory” error message pop-up (otherwise the messages will continue to pop-up). Sometimes the file can’t be saved after the error message occurred.
I have never encountered this memory issue at my home with below #2 Mac spec.
#1 PC spec looks better than #2 Mac spec. Why PC can’t perform like Mac does?
Do you have any solution to fix the “insufficient Memory” issue in  #1 PC spec?
I had already reset the AI preference as the following link but it doesn’t work.
