See if you can troubleshoot Safari extensions and third party plugins before Safari crashes.
From the Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Extensions tab. Turn that OFF, quit and relaunch Safari to test. If that helped, turn one extension on then quit and relaunch Safari to test until you find the incompatible extension then click uninstall.
If it's not an extensions issue, try troubleshooting third party plug-ins.
Back to Safari > Preferences. This time select the Security tab. Deselect: Allow plug-ins. Quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If that made a difference, instructions for troubleshooting plugins here.

Error -17300 is generated when running selected step
Error -17300 is generated when running selected step (with ot without process model).
Using TestStand 2.0.1f1
See BMP file for error dialog.
I was trying out the example in the Resource Library - TestStand | Process Models | Running Selected Steps via Execution Entry Point -Test UUTs or Single Pass
(link http://sine.ni.com/apps/we/niepd_web_display.display_epd4?p_guid=B45EACE3E2B756A4E034080020E74861&p_node=DZ52222&p_source=external ). This example is a 1.0.1 example but the web page does say that it should work in 2.0.x
I followed the readme file to use from "Execute" menu:
I have attached the resulant SequentialModel.seq file.
The modifications to the SequentialModel.seq file appears to wo
rk, but when I tried to run 'Run Selected Steps Using' menu item. I got the error message -17300 displayed. (see ErrorScr.bmp attached). The only way to close the execution was to launch Task manager and 'End Task'.
I have attached a small demo sequencefile.
To try example:
Move the SequentialModel.seq to 'C:\TestStand\Components\User\Models\TestStandModels'.
Launch TestStand Sequence Editor and open 'Debug Example1.seq'.
This is how to generate error condition-
1. Run the sequence file from menu Item Execute | Single Pass. You should get a full run with test result, it fails but that doesn't matter.
2. Select Steps 1 and 3 in Main of MainSequence. Run Selected Steps using Single Pass. Again sequence executes correctly.
3. Now run the same selected steps using the new menu item Execute | Selected Test(s). Again the sequence executes again.
4. With Steps 1 and 3 still selected. Run Selected Steps using Single Pass (as in 2 above). This time the error -17300 will be gener
ated.
I also tried running the sequence first doing step 1 (as above), then step 3, then repeating step 1 and this was ok. So the problem appears to be in interactive only.
Any clues as to whats going on and how to resolve it.

ErrorScr.bmp 915 KBHi,
TestStand 2.0.1f1
Attached is a SequentialModel.seq that will run selected steps in a new execution using the process model. (It started life based on the inital
demo example)
When either Test UUT's or Single Pass is selected a check is made to determine if there is an initial selection.
If there isn't then the normal Test UUT's or Single Pass sequence is run.
If there is then a new sequence file is created with a new MainSequence. The selected steps are cloned and inserted to the new MainSequence. Also
the Setup and Cleanup groups are also cloned. Likewise the FileGlobal Defaults are copied to the FileGlobals of the new Sequencefile and also the
Locals.
Any Sequences contained in the SequenceFile are cloned to the new sequencefile (except the MainSequence, SequenceFileLoad and SequenceFileUnLoad).
In addition, as the Steps are cloned any break point are also set in the new sequence file.
The new sequence file is executed in a new execution using the process model entry point with the break on first step controlled from the menu
option.
One thing I am assuming is that there is only one element in the RunState.InitialSelection.SelectedSequences array.
Question: Under what circumstances will there be more than one selected sequence?
I had one problem, I tried my SequentialModel.seq with the demo auto.seq. This contains the SequenceFileLoad and SequenceFileUnload.
When I run this demo with a few steps selected, it run ok but when I closed the results window the UnloadFile callback was executed.
I found an option that can be set with the Engine.ReleaseSequenceFileEx which should have stopped the UnloadFile callback from running. But it
made no difference.
I then came across SequenceFile.UnloadCallbackEnabled() and using this function it did disable the Unload callback and this worked.
Question: So, Why didn't setting the Option in the Engine.ReleaseSequenceFileEx work?
Limitation using this SequentialModel.seq,
1) Any precondition to a step's execution based on the result of an early steps are not check when cloning the selected steps. Therefore this has
to be done manually when making the selection.
2) All Sequences in the SequenceFile are cloned to the new sequencfile. (May not be a problem when SequenceFile contains only a few sequences.)
3) The selections are limited to the MainSequence. If steps are selected in a Subsequence then these would be copied to a new MainSequence and
this would be run. Providing this doesn't require any parameters passed from the original caller then this should still run. The problem will
arise if parameters are required.
4) This is not really a limitation - If a full run of the SequenceFile using Test UUT's or Single Pass is required then the user must ensure no
steps are selected.
What I whould like to happen is the ability to make a selection in SubSequence calls either one or two levels down from the MainSequence. The new
execution setup would contain those steps in the MainSequence that are required to call those selected steps in the lower levels.
Would welcome any comments on my SequentialModel.seq attached and answers to my questions.

When I import a CD ablum that includes songs with co-artists, the album is saved once under the album name with all the songs from the main artist; then each song with a different co-artist is saved separately under the album title with just that song. Who do I prevent that or fix it after the fact, i.e., copy the single songs to the main album?
Why aren't songs with the same album art grouped together? - http://support.apple.com/kb/ts1468

I just upgraded to PE 13 - removed PE12 prior to installing PE13 and now I cannot burn a DVD on my Win 7 Pro 64bit PC. In my first attempt at burning a DVD PE 13 did not see the DVD burner - drive "z:". I have a WD MyBook 4TB USB HD and had Security configured which created a Virtual CD on the drive. I disabled the virtual CD and rebooted. This time PE13 recognized the DVD burner but when trying to burn a DVD I received the No DLLs message and had to cancel the burn. I tried the burn again and the DVD burner was no longer recognized.
I then removed PE13 and reinstalled it - no errors during the install. Tried again and same result - no DLLs.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for your time,

For Premiere Elements user, I would make note that the presets for burn to disc cannot be customized by the user within the program.
a. The second thread that you pointed rkclarke36 to does talk about resolving this issue by changing the burn to disc frame rate from
24 fps to 30 fps. But, that was for Premiere Pro, not Premiere Elements. In Premiere Pro, can the user really customize an Adobe burn to disc
preset?
For Premiere Elements
If the burn to is to DVD disc for DVD-VIDEO, the user is
confined to two frames rate, 25 interlaced frames per second or 29.97 interlaced frames per second. But, he/she cannot change the frame rate
within the preset.
If the burn to is to DVD disc for AVCHD DVD, the user again meets different presets, but cannot change the frame rate within the preset. For Premiere Elements 13 burn to AVCHD disc, the presets are
Premiere Elements 13
H.264 1440 x 1080i NTSC Dolby
H.264 1440 x 1080i PAL Dolby
H.264 1440 x 1080p NTSC Dolby
H.264 1920 x 1080i NTSC Dolby
H.264 1920 x 1080i PAL Dolby
H.264 1920 x 1080p NTSC Dolby
Except for the two 1080p presets with frame rate of 23.976 progressive frames per second, the other presets all have a frame rate of 29.97 interlaced frames per second NTSC or 25 interlaced frames per second.
b. Mark has not yet offered the details of the Timeline content (video and/or stills) being taken to burn to DVD-VIDEO or AVCHD DVD. So, frame size as per your first mentioned link might be an avenue to pursue. I would include that with all my testing of Premiere Elements 4 to 13, I have not gotten this particular dll error
with any oversized stills.

An error should be generated when no message to process.
Hi Experts,
We have a scenario as follows.
Its a simple file to file scenario, but when there is no file to pick up during the specified time, we need to generate a error file.
Kindly help in designing this scenario.I cannot think of any other alternate way from XI end might be on the server you can run some batch file which will read the any file is present there or notin that folder for that specific period and try to trigger the mail from that batch file...call that batch file from the fileadapter " OS COMMAND ) Message before processing.....

Error Message on Wiki When Attempting to Download File
I have a wiki successfully set up. Authenticated users are able to log in and make changes to text, add pages, etc.
The problem is, I get an error message any time I try to download a file:
The wiki service is most certainly turned on.
File type doesn't seem to matter. I've tried everything from Pages documents, to PDFs, to Illustrator files, with the exact same results.
As expected, the wiki is available from the outside without issue.
I cannot see anything obvious in the wiki logs, but, I'm not really sure what I am looking at.

I'm unable to launch an excel file in the Client App from OWA using google chrome. I am able to open the excel file in the web application, but when clicking "Edit Workbook" and selecting "Edit Excel" the file never opens.
Opening developer mode shows a javascript error. This error comes back as:
[blocked] The page at 'https://owa.mysite.com/x/_layouts/xlviewerinternal.aspx?ui=en%2DUS&r…g%2Fsites%2Fmiketest%2Ftestlib%2FForms%2FAllItems%2Easpx&wdEnableRoaming=1' was loaded over HTTPS, but ran insecure content from 'ms-excel:ofv|u|https://intranet.mysite.org/sites/miketest/testlib/SitePageVerification.xlsx':
this content should also be loaded over HTTPS.
Both sites are using https, so I'm unsure what the error is about. Any ideas?Hi Michael,
According to your description, my understanding is that you got an error when you tried to edit excel in client application with Chrome.
Per my knowledge, when you open or edit documents(from SharePoint library) in client application, it requires Open Documents ActiveX controls. Open Documents ActiveX controls limitations on browsers which do not support ActiveX. Currently only 32-bit versions
of Internet Explorer support this functionality. So , for resolving your issue, I suggest you use IE 32-bit.
More indormation, please refer to the link below:

I hope this helps.
Thanks,

I get an error code of 4010 when attempting to authorize this computer
How can I prevent error code of 4010 from coming up on iTunes match when trying to start it?
The TIme Machine volume does not have that checkbox.
I think the issue is with your Finder...
Go to Finder "Go" menu hold the option key and choose Library. Then go to Preferences trash these files:
com.apple.finder.plist
com.apple.sidebarlists.plist
Then, restart, or log out and in again.
(You will have to reset a few finder prefs the way you like them.) -
HT201210 Error msg on 3GS when tried restoring software on iTunes
i got this message "The iphone could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (1) from iTunes. Could someone advice ? Many thanks in advanced
Ouch! That really stinks
I would contact AppleCare or make an appointment for your local Apple Store.
At this point, i believe your phone is just dead. Its possible the power brick was badly manufactured or something of the like, so make sure you also get the cord and power brick replaced.
Good luck! -
Error "Cannot Create File" when attempting to download Itunes 9.1
I cannot download Itunes 9.1 because of this weird error - and it has corrupted my current iTunes 9.02
Can anyone help?
Is there a way to go back download 9.02 again? My only backup is version 8.2 and will not open my itunes library - is there a workaround for this?
Lots of questions - I would be grateful for answers to any of them.
Thanks!

you can download it from here: http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/10057115&vid=11116557&mode=inf o

maybe. you could try this:
to downgrade to a previous iTunes version, you could try this user tip that seemed to have worked for some:
+1) Quit iTunes.+
+2) Delete iTunes from your Applications folder.+
+3) Go to your ~/Music/iTunes folder. Delete or rename the "iTunes Library" file.+
+4) Open the "Previous iTunes Libraries" folder and look for the backup of your old pre-9 library; it should be dated at about the time you first ran iTunes 9. Copy it back out to the ~/Music/iTunes folder, and rename it to "iTunes Library".+
+6) click here to download iTunes 8.2.1. The page says it's for G3, but the Read Me file says it'll run on G4, G5, and Intel too. Open the disk image and run the installer.+
+You should now be able to run iTunes 8.2.1 again.+
+And your iTunes will restore to before you upgraded and you won't lose anything+.
good luck ! -
This doesn't happen all the time, only with selected print-screens. I press the crop icon and my phone screen turns black, then the loading sign comes up, and finally the apple sign emerges.
it's a bug. look to the right at the 'more like this' section. sorry.

Images disappear when attempting to crop
Hi Folks -
Here's the problem for today:
I've got a PC with 12 GB of memory, 9 allocated to PS CS5.
A Radeon 5970 video card with 2GB on-board memory.... although CS5 might only accept 1GB.
I open 30 files about 200K each, which would put total usage around 6 MB total... let's say 7MB to add a little buffer.
I could process the first 10-12 files. I was just cropping each image to what I needed to do. Nothing was standard, so an action or some other automated process was not a viable option.
After each crop, I would save the image and close it out.
About the 13-14 image, as I was starting to crop, the image would just disappear completely so I couldn't crop the image at all.
All video drivers and Adobe updates are installed.
I could close the program and restart it, and it worked fine. But I shouldn't have to do that.
Does anybody know what was happening?
Thanks,
DougIt figures... 1 MINUTE after I wrote the above I've reproduced the problem. Not by doing anything specific, just by using Photoshop as usual.
Here's a sequence showing what happens, using the Rectangular Marquee Selection Tool:
Positioning mouse, mouse button not pressed:
Press mouse button and drag:
Let up mouse button:
With this happening and us both running Catalyst 12.1, I'd have to put my money on an unexpected new resource problem in that version of the ATI drivers.
I have Photoshop in this state now and am continuing to experiment to see if I can get more info... ALL THIS IS WITHOUT CLOSING PHOTOSHOP. For example:
It happens with subsequently opened images.
It happens even if the current image is closed and another one is opened.
My own plug-in software that uses OpenGL comes up and runs as expected. This tends to imply corruption inside Photoshop instead of a GPU resource shortage.
The problem persists if (without closing Photoshop) OpenGL is disabled and an image is opened (at which point it works okay), then OpenGL is re-enabled and an image is opened.
Switching an open document between windowed and tabbed view doesn't help.
Changing to an alternate workspace does not clear the problem.
The OpenGL brush resizing shortcuts (Shift - Right Click and drag) revert to non-OpenGL operation (i.e., just the outline is shown, no red overlay).
Animated zoom stops functioning; instead the marquee alone animates, reminiscent of non-OpenGL operation.
The clone tool Overlay DOES work, but it seems a bit jumpy, as though it's being rendered in GDI, not OpenGL.
At one point it seemed to start working again, but it was clear the image had dropped out of OpenGL altogether. Closing and reopening it caused the reappearance of the problem, and animated zoom started working again after reopening the image.
The window seems to be replaced with the color from pixel(s) at the top edge. Note this sequence, using a window that has no border showing around the image:
