Error named like "CONVERSION ERROR"

I am creating one Module Pool Program with the Screen Painter. There is total 10 Tab Strips used in the Screen Painter.
When I select the Last Tab, I get the Error with the message " CONVERSION ERROR"
Can you guide me why this error can occurs?

Hi,
Check whether you are entering false values in a field which is not belong to that type.
For example, if you enter characteristic value into a numeric field and doing arithmatic operations.
CONVERSION ERROR occurs in this case.
Please check for above.

Rajesh

    To my knowledge I do not think that the naming has anything to do with the German translations since in German:
    Customer = Kunde and
    Vendor     = Verkäufer....
    However the naming has some connection with the Business Case behind customers and vendors. In SAP, a customer is a business partner whose account you debit for money, hence the name DEBMAS and a vendor is a business partner whose account you credit money, hence the name CREMAS.
    PS: Reward points and close the question if you find this helpful.
    Regards.

  • TOPR, VSZD why are my songs named like this?

    And how do i change them?

    There are utilities available from third-parties that allow taking songs of the iPod and converting their names back into a more human-readable format. Unfortunately I don't know the names of them (never actully used any, I use my Nano mostly for podcasts.) A quick search on google should return some results.
    I'm guessing you want to play the songs in something other than iTunes or wish to move songs between computers. I too found it kind of annoying as my old mp3 player cataloged without renaming or relocating files. Though normal behavior for iTunes, it is annoying if you wish to use the iPod without iTunes when plugged into a computer, or wish to transfer songs between systems.
    Some media players, such as winamp, will read the ID3 tags, but having to import all songs to generate a complete list then remove unwanted songs seems a bit much to play a select few, though is possible if the songs are all unprotected AAC or mp3 files.
    If your music lacks the needed tags, you can use MusicBrainz [musicbrainz.org] for free to attempt to add proper tagging. I've had mixed success with this, normally it works well, but sometimes server load is high and you need to resubmit a few times before everything detects.

  • Consistency check error in sender file content conversion

    Dear Experts,
    I am trying one simple File to File scenario in which i have only fields 1>salesorder_number 2>Description
    I created a txt file with line items "100,crudeoil" with file name as salesorder.txt
    In the sender file adapter i have configured the file convertion paramenters as follows:
    Document name : mt_salesorder_sender
    Document namespace : http://se.com.sa/sec-sa-qax          "Namespace of message type
    Recordset Structure : document,*
    document.endSeparator : 'nl'
    document.fieldSeparator: ,
    document.fieldNames : salesorder_number,Description
    So after this if i run the scenario In file adapter i am getting the error like "Conversion initialization failed: java.lang.Exception: java.lang.Exception: java.lang.Exception: Error(s) in XML conversion parameters found: Parameter 'document.fieldFixedLengths' or 'document.fieldSeparator' is missing Consistency check: no. of arguments in 'document.fieldFixedLength' does not match 'document.fieldNames' (0 <> 2) "
    Please let me know where i am going wrong.

  • Conversion Error in JCO due to BigDecimal.toString() change in Java 1.5

    Hi folks,
    we have a problem here. A field which is set through a java.math.BigDecimal(0) gets very funny values in JCo. We had a look insight JCo und found, that JCo.Record does the following with BigDecimals:
    if ((value instanceof BigDecimal) && itype == 2)
       try
         BigDecimal bd=(BigDecimal) value;
         bd=bd.setScale(super.decimals[index], 6);
         encodeBCD(bd.toString(), index);
       catch (Exception ex)
         throw new ConversionException(ex.getMessage());
    A value of 0 (and super.decimals[index]==7) is than translatet not to "0.0000000" but to "0E-7". This is a big difference to what JDK 1.4 used to print and encodeBCD fails with "0E-7". JCo with JDK 1.5 should use "toPlainString()" now at this place (or adopt encodeBDC), but that would not be downward compatible anymore...
    OK, we solved this issu for now by transforming to a string ourself at a central point befor using "setValue" in JCo. The other way would be to use XML for all settings. But that would mean a change of the whole software.
    Does anybody of you know of a different solution we could use? Or will there be a new JCo Version solving this?
    Thanks
    PS: try this code. It will make all clear to you:
    BigDecimal bd = new BigDecimal(0);
    BigDecimal bd1 = bd.setScale(7, BigDecimal.ROUND_HALF_EVEN);
    BigDecimal bd2 = bd.setScale(6, BigDecimal.ROUND_HALF_EVEN);
    System.out.println(bd.toString()+"=="+bd.toPlainString());
    System.out.println(bd1.toString()+"!="+bd1.toPlainString());
    System.out.println(bd2.toString()+"=="+bd2.toPlainString());
    Result is:
    0==0
    0E-7!=0.0000000
    0.000000==0.000000

    When we are converting string to BigDecimal, in JAVA 1.5 it is post fixing with extra “0”(zero) if the string value ends with single “ ”0” (zero).That sounds very odd.
    To overcome this we can use toPlainString() method in Java 1.5. But it is not feasible to make this change all over places in our code.Aha! This sounds like conversion from BigDecimal to String; not what you described above. And I have to admit, that change mystified me too, because it goes against the grain of backwards-compatibility. It's possible that it was meant to "standardize" output for floating-point values though.
    Is there any fix available?Well, one thing might be to use toPlainString() in the places where you're having problems. The string produced by toString() is still suitable for converting back to BigIntegers (and will do so precisely; I believe the toPlainString() style could produce a BigDecimal with the same value but different scale), so unless you actually need the string for viewing you can leave it alone.
    But as EJP says, post some code.

    Hi Aneesh,
    XPath Expression: /soapenv:Envelope/soapenv:Body/math:DivideResponse/iResult
    You are using AddResponse in your XPath there is no element named like that.

  • Error data file is empty in standard Copy package

    Hi,
    We have an appset that consists of four applications and we can't successfully run Data Manager Copy package in one of them. It launches the following tasks: Dump, Convert (execution fails in this step with error "Data file is empty") and Load. SSIS configuration in BIDS is defined by default and we haven't set any parameter.
    We have figured out this error appears when we select any member of a dimension in "COPYMOVEINPUT" prompt except for Time dimension. Previously there was a custom Copy package based on standard BPC and it only filters by Time dimension. Perhaps this error is related to application configuration to run custom package.
    We show code:
    INFO(%TEMPFILE1%,%TEMPPATH%%RANDOMFILE%)

  • Error when executing comand line RWRUN to distribute by xml

    Hello,
    I have a .rdf and a customized distribution.xml configured to burst the report and distribute to email.
    I am using command prompt to start distribution, like:
    c:\devsuitehome_1\bin\rwrun report=myreport.rdf userid=devlp/devlppass@mv distribute=yes destination=distribution.xml
    After i run the command line, i keep getting log files create in the same directory where the rdf + distribution xml resides, logs that show errors outside the Java Machine, and nothing happens no report is distributed. I keep running the same command line, and after several attempts, no log error appears in the directory, and results are successfully delivered.
    Do you know what may cause this? Could it be the email server?
    What i'm using:

  • SSL ERROR : The required certificate was not found

    I am using Adobe Javascript this.submitForm to submit FDF. This works fine in Windows. When the same pdf is opened in a Linux environment I get the following error:
    SSL ERROR : The required certificate was not found
    and am required to run acroread -installCertificate.
    This I do and it succeeds but the SSL error persists.
    The this.submitForm command is given below:
    /this.submitForm({cURL: 'https://some-webpath/FILE.cgi#FDF',bFDF: true,bGet: false});
    When reading the documentation for the submitForm I see that the Acrobat Web Capture plug-in should be installed: I notice this is the case in Windows but not in Linux. Where can I get this?

    Hi Ben,
    The behavior you have noticed with the newly installed certificate files in
    [home-folder]/.adobe/Acrobat/[version]/Cert folder
    and the
    [install-folder]/Adobe/Reader8/Reader/Cert/curl-ca-bundle.crt file is correct. Further, the behavior has not changed between Reader versions 8.x and 9.x
    It is possible that the problem may be of the installed certificate not linking up to one of the Root CA-s. An Intermedia-CA certificate may be needed to be installed.
    Could you mail me at " sanath at adobe dot com ", if possible, with more information about the problem (the PDF, the certificate in question - the file named like 123456.0 ), so that we at Adobe can work on resolving your problem
    Regards
    Sandip

  • Why its showing error : Invalid Object Name 'table name' when we try to insert data ?

    Hi,
        When i try to insert data in the database with the following query
                    con.Open();
                    cmd = new SqlCommand("insert into good(ID,Name) values('" + textBox1.Text + "','" + textBox2.Text + "')", con);
                    cmd.ExecuteNonQuery();
                    MessageBox.Show("Insert success");
                    con.Close();
        its showing following error Invalid Object Name 'good'

    Use 3-part naming like: MyDatabase.dbo.good(ID,Name) .
    Also consider using stored procedure for database INSERTs.

  • Transferring multiple videos by windows explorer. Error code 0x80030001

    Phoostream is a great feature. Transferring photos have never been so easy. However, I do have a qualm regarding the service and that is that it does not sync videos! Therefore, I still have to go back to the arduous processes of plugging it into my computer and selecting the videos to be transferred to my computer. However, it wasn't as easy as I had expected. Windows import feature imports both photo and videos and I can ONLY import new media. Old media is not imported so that means that videos that I synced that may have been deleted are not imported through windows explorer.l, and I cannot get it to transfer anymore. I tried copy and pasting multiple videos from the windows explorer but it prompted me the error code 0x80030001 and it cannot be transferred. I have to transfer them individually. Anyone has a reliable and easy way to get my videos to transfer from iPhone to PC?

    yeah! sure windows problem... neither the location nor the folder path is given in default industry standards... by APPLE DEVICE
    But if I need my latest taken picture from an apple phone... one can see over more than 30 directories random named like 845OJOX or 900DZDMI ???
    In those random named directories lies apples 'closed coding' following faulthy tagging and resulting in different and random again batches of photos taken.
    If I do a search in windows I can find all the pictures on this apple phone and even better i'm in control to sort the way i like!
    Unfortunately the apple 'faulthy tagging method' makes it impossible to communicate with any other divice about accessing...
    This is a simple poor show of apple's limited object oriented filing...
    The same i had from pictures taken of a holliday where i did change my phone to local time and my wife's phone not and the seperate camera had also home settings... when i imported those all together after holliday via a program called i-tunes I had to buy 3 different apps and store all these holliday pictures(8gig) seperate (problem since 16gig should be available on apples device; i had only 9gig freed by eliminating all apps possible... and needed 24gig total for apps photo database) in all the overpriced purchased apps, to finaly show those pictures time synchronized to the holliday !
    How hard it can be to sort files as the user needs????
    DRAMATIC POOR APPLE PERFORMANCE (i thought apple was so good with pictures and so..)
    On my pc I also did import the holliday pictures from these three devices and sorted those within minutes(!!!) right to holliday time sync...
    Anyway i found also a time consuming way to copy latest taken pictures in random apple maps
    (i wish to select a specific time batch and drag these to new map on pc (no apple pc))
    look in all the random named apple device maps and check if there is a picture belonging to the batch you need and drag these to the new map...
    Something what could take from any other phone some milisecs... takes with apple devices 2 days time !!!!
    Best way for taking photo's you need later on other devices than apple... take the photo's on a non apple device and save extra holliday time!

  • REP-3000 Error Message

    I have install Web Reports Server 6i on Solaris 2.8 x_86 platform and i hav configure its above documentation. I can start it under OAS 4.0.7 web listener. Then, if i want to create the test report on the web, i receive an error message:
    REP-3000: Internal error starting Oracle Toolkit.
    Tell me please, what can i do.

    You may be right. But in this case i don't know another plase, there nls-support (*.nlb) files are may be installd. In my $ORACLE_HOME there are no directory, naming like datad2k. I think, that Developer 2k use nls-support files from base nls directory, because i install if after RDBMS, but after installation of Developer 2k in the list of installed products i so, that it content the 8.0.6 NLS-Support Files and Libraris. I in the firm belief that it is not RDBMS files, becouse the version of RDBMS is 8.0.5.
    It meens, that the cause of REP-3000 error is other. If you know some more about it, tell me please.

    Hi,
    Could you please check if there any directory named like 1,2,3 etc in
    C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Temp\
    This error sometime occurs due to missing temporary file which is created every time at startup of ssms.exe file.
    If you can find any log file which says missing file name then you just create the missing directory in given location. The file will be created automatically next time.
    Thanks.
