Error no gfx acceleration found when trying to play games on bootcamp windows

Im trying to play games on a mid 2010 macbook pro i have used parrellels desktop to use windows so i can play better games but when i play a game of steam i get an error saying No GFX acceleration found. I have looked around online for a soloution and some one else on mac has had this problem but they were on a 2009 model and has a different graphics card and he says you need to update your drivers but i cant find an update for them anywhere can anyone help would be very happy if someone could give me a link to the drivers or tell me how to fix this

Okey, so when I was going too boot my computer it works good untill half the way thruh when boot campassistant is going too dowload the latest windows assistant it says "This computer can just do windows 7" then I press next after a few seconds it says "Can't dowload files because the server is busy" (this was just from my memory it may have been somthing else, but it is pretty much what it said). So how do I fix this, the easiest thing too just press a few buttons and choose a ISO image and the it can't even proseed to the pratipation....

Getting message "file cannot be found" when trying to play music in iTunes

When trying to play ANY music in my iTunes Library I get the message that the file containing the music cannot be found. I recently updated to the latest version of iTunes - is this the problem or is it something else?? I thought that at least the songs purchased from the iTunes Store would play but they do not. I receive the same message which asks if I want to attempt to locate the file. I click yes and that takes me to the iTunes Library which gets me nowhere. Anyone have any ideas????? First, try Repairing Disk Permissions. Quit all open applications. Launch Disk Utility, it's in your Applications/Utilities folder. Select MacintoshHD 10.x.x in the panel on the left, select the FirstAid tab, then click Repair Disk Permissions. Only takes a few minutes to run, then Quit Disk Utility. Reboot your PBook and launch iTunes. See if you can play a track...
If not... with iTunes open, select iTunes Store, then from the Menu Bar, click Store/Authorize Computer and see if that works. If that doesn't work ...
Quit iTunes. Try dragging the com.apple.iTunes.plist file from the HD/Users/YourName/Library/Preferences folder to your Desktop. Launch iTunes and see if you can play tracks. If you can, drag that file back to the Preferences folder. If not, drag that file to the Trash, empty the Trash and reboot. It could be your iTunes preferences file is corrupted and needs replacing. Your Mac will create a new pref file for you the next time you launch iTunes.

Any indication which program is throwing that error code?
Firefox uses 3 digit error codes AFAIK.

It is best to use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot and make sure that you do not exceed a maximum file size of 1 MB.

and I installed wmvare and windows 7 so I could do gameplays for my YouTube channel on PC games. I didn't boot because I were insecure but anyways. I installed wmvare and windows 7 sucesfully but then when I were going too try too run the game Black Ops 2 in steam it poped up a message that told me
"DirectX encountered an unrecoverable error. Check the readme for possible solutions." So I sat for hours trying too understand what the problem was, trying to update DirectX with more. Since I already had the latest DirectX that wasent the problem. And finaly I found the sulution. There were some problem with the grapich card so I needed too upgrade the grapich card. Well ofcourse NIVIDIA didn't have any driver for the GTX 775M grapich card. I checked here https://discussions.apple.com/message/24065327#24065327 and used the link that took me to were I could dowload the drivers. When the dowloading were done and I started the system check after a while it stoped and told me that the NVIDIA installation coulden't go on. Becuase this graphics routine could not find any compatible graphics hardware. So what is the sulution? Because I am not going (I have already put so much money on this) pay more for this too work so as ordering new stuff like a driver, another grapich card or anything lika that I dont want to boot my computer but if I must I perhaps will do it just if I dont need to pay for another windows 7. So I want a awnser were I can and how I can dowload the drivers so that I can play games on my mac for exampel; Black Ops 2, Battelfield 3/4, The Forest, Day Z. Boot Camp/Windows XP crashes when trying to play games

I'm at a complete loss. I've installed Windows XP with Boot Camp and everything starts up fine. All I want to use XP for is some light gameing. I've done this a few times with with different games. I get the same problem every time.
At some point while a game is playing the screen goes black. Some times the screen redraws, most of the time the computer simply turns off. This most recent attempt at XP gaming has come in the last few days. The game (Perfect World) truns off my Mac while I'm still making characters, not even getting to loading the game. Also each of these is after deleting the Windows partition and then creating it again. And is happening again after my hard drive has been replaced.
I have all the current Apple Drivers and I tried using the drivers from ATI for Boot Camp.
Additionally, I was having some issues with shut downs when playing World of Warcraft Mac side. Fearing that it was and overheating problem I took the computer in to and Authorized Repair shop. They kept it for 10 days and couldn't duplicate the problem, even when I had them log into my WoW account and they played for 3 Hours. I'm not sure if they just left it running (which will just time out) or if they actually did anything in WoW to push the system. The shutting down I'm getting on though happen with in 5-10 minutes of starting up on XP, with no prior time spent on Mac (ie. I just walked in from being gone for hours).
The more I do the more I'm getting the feeling and am being advised (by a Windows Tech friend) that there is a hardware problem at the root of all this. (Even though the Repair center couldn't find any problems.) Any thoughts as to weather this might be the issue?
Any thought on how to deal with this are welcome.

Though as a side note; Should i be looking into getting hardware fixed? I'm covered under Apple Care for about 3 more weeks. But last time i took it into my repair shop they told me they couldn't find any problems. : /
That is indeed the problem, if they can't find anything to fix, they won't fix.
If you can reproduce the error when in the shop (maybe disableing InputRemapper for that purpose) or if you have other problems (preferably while in OSX) it could be good to have them have a look at your Mac.
Make an appointment with the Shop Genius and go there with some free time at hand.

"Insert correct CD" message when trying to play game.

Bought laptop befor Christmas. Periodically will not automatically boot up Age of Empires game when CD inserted. Sometimes will work if I restart computer, or sometimes if I run as administrator. Now, keeps asking for correct game CD, but wont accept it as being the correct one although its the only one I own. For a short period I also noticed that the computer was unaware that a CD rom was installed on the computer, but I suppose that cleared up on its own because I didnt do anything to fix it myself. This problem might not even be related. Any suggestions?

Verify the computer's date and time are accurate.

Follow Troubleshooting security software. Often, uninstalling third-party security software will resolve these errors.
An entry in your hosts file may be redirecting requests to gs.apple.com (see "Unable to contact the iOS software update server gs.apple.com" above).
Internet proxy settings can cause this issue. If you are using a proxy, try without using one.
Test restoring while connected to a known-good network.

Keep getting Disc Burner or software not found when trying to burn a CD

I am not able to burn a playlist to a CD and get an error at the top of Itunes window "Disc Burner or Software Not Found". I have been able to burn CDs in the past with this same computer but had some issues with songs in itunes. Support had me uninstall Itunes and reinstall. I have also uninstalled the device in the device manager and re-installed it. I really don't know what to try except to ask for help here. I would appreciate any direction I can get. I have a Dell desktop XPS running on Windows 8.

Unable to load media error when trying to play a video in Sharepoint 2013

My team consistently gets an error when trying to play a video in SharePoint 2013. I can upload it, pick a thumbnail and save it. When anyone else goes to the intranet site and tries to play the video, they get a media failed to load error.
I have tried mp4 and wmv formats. I at first thought it had to do with the codec used in Camtasia to create the video, so I encoded it in Microsoft Encoder to a wmv and it still fails. All of the videos I upload fail for other users. If someone else uploads
a video, I get the error and cannot play the video. If I look at the library in Explorer, the video file is missing but the subdirectories for additional content and thumbnails are present. For the videos I upload and can play but everyone else
gets the error, I see those subdirectories as well as the video file itself.

Error -43 file not found when exporting from QT Pro 7.5

I get the error -43 (a file could not be found) when trying to export into any format from within Quicktime Pro 7.5 (861) which i believe is the most current version. I also cannot perform a simple "save as" to save my video into another name, i dont get an error message for that one, but it just doesnt do anything. Im not sure if there is any point placing this on this forum, but maybe someone at Apple is interested in offering a little support...?

OK so i found the solution myself - seems apple programmers have been not doing their jobs properly, to get this working the file name of the video that i want exported cannot be anything other than in 8.3 format (like old MS-DOS) but it's more than that, even if you do have the file in 8.3 format it still cant be in a directory that has a name longer than 8 characters, or which has spaces in it etc. so in my case i copied my video to c:\temp and renamed all of them to the old MS-DOS 8.3 format, now the export works... amazing I wonder how long i would have waited for apple support if i hadnt resolved this myself.

With the Error 2, let's try a standalone Apple Application Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of the issue.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR:

Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleApplicationSupport.msi to do a standalone AAS install.
Does it install properly for you?

I am getting "getting info when trying to play quick time player videos and it never plays. I am using a dial up netzero hispeed. I was wondering how do I set up the setting for quick time player, so that it plays with my netzero internet provider? Any suggestions? Please reply I would truly appreciate your help.

hmmmm. perhaps try (experimentally) disabling the Netzero web accelerator. do you still get the error when playing the internet videos?
