Error 'no local web solution for html engine installed. operation failed'

Hi all
I am trying to install JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.
I have done the installation in one machine according to this queue:
1) Installed the Oracle DB 11g
2) Installed the Enterprise and Database Server
3) Installed the Deployment Server and the installation finished successfully
But when i try to navigate to the EntepriseOne menu I have the following message:
"no local web solution for html engine installed. operation failed". Can you please suggest for any solution for this?
I also did not install the html web server yet. Is this mandatory? Is this error related with this?

During installation I didn't enter any port, so could you please tell me if there is any default port for this isntallation.
I red on the internet that port 6010 is the default port for EnterpriseOne so I entered the url: http://192.168.223.167:6010/jde/E1Menu.maf
where this(192.168.223.167) is the IP of my server but still the page did not open.
Do I have to start any service or something. Please help me to solve this issue.

Error in gettnig logon data for Adapter Engine

Hi,
We have Http > XI > RFC Scenario. We are getting 401 unauthorized error in "CALL ADAPTER" section. From the trace its clear that the logon data for the adapter engine (there is no value for USER in trace) is not getting poulated. We fixed this issue last evening....i think by doing full cache refresh, but this problem propped up again today. Yesterday when this issue was fixed the USER has "PIISUSER" in the trace.
We haven't changed any config settings since yesterday so all the passwords and other config info is same. Not sure what's causing this issue. Below is the trace. Any help will be highly appreciated.

there u need to maintain the password for the XIISUSER.
I think u need to restart the J2EE Engine for the changes to take effect.

Well you can use the WebGUI instead of the SAP GUI - you will need to activate the service through SICF though. Then you build simple Transaction iViews but choose the SAP GUI for HTML in the properties of the iView.

Error when testing SAP GUI for HTML

Hi experts,
i am getting the error "Service cannot be reached - the termination occured in system <sysid> with error code 403 and for the reason forbidden" when I test the service SAP GUI for HTML for transaction sicf. I am able to enter mit username and apssword und click login, and then iI get this error. Can anyone give me a hint?

Error while calling web service for first time

I am calling a third party web service using BasicHttp adapter and passing user name and password in send port security tab by setting security mode to "Transport" and Transport client credential type" as Basic.
every time when i redeploy or after long idle time i am getting below error and then second call works fine.We are using BT 2013.
I used fiddler and i am not seeing any difference in both requests.Any one ran into this kind of issue?

I will not comment on "IIS recycle its workers process
". I don't think you have ever said its IIS is the web server used by yourt 3rd paty to host their web service. We (atleast I) don't know wheather your 3rd party's web service is hosted on IIS. It’s some "Web Server"
could be IIS (if its Microsoft based) or Apache or something else.
Come back to your question, when the error says "The request could not be
understood by server due to malformed syntax", when you’re sending the message as expected by 3rd party service, then it has nothing to do with your end, error is returned by your 3rd party. And as you have mentioned you are tracing the
messages thru Fiddler and you see messages are constructed same and fine as expected by your 3rd party. Don't confuse its nothing on your party, either first deployment or last. Check with your 3rd party

Error when configuring Web Dispatcher for SSL with Enterprise Portal

We are in the process of configuring the Web Dispatcher using SSL to connect to our Enterprise Portal (the Web Dispatcher will be in the DMZ). We have followed all of the help.sap.com guides and now have SSL listening on the EP side (port 8103). We are now receiving this strange certificate error when we start the Web Dispatcher:

Error while generating Web report for UML Modeling

I am using Sun java studio enterprise 8, i design uml diagrams for that diagrams i am trying to generate a webreport while generating i am getting the error as follows

Ping Error while refreshing webi in view/HTML mode

Hi all,
while refreshing a webi report from Infoview in XI R2 SP6, I'm getting the following error:
Ping: Infoview cannot connect to the server. Close the report panel and try to connect again or see your Business Objects Administrator.
If I click on OK, the the refresh of the LOV continues and data is refreshed.
The error is not occuring if refreshing from the Java Report Panel.
Have you ever seen this error?
Can you help me please.

Where for this installation <tt> /LANG/</tt>* stands for "/de/" and "/en/".

There are two notes concerning security setting of the SAP Gateway:
1069911 - GW: Changes to the ACL list of the gateway (reginfo)
1480644 - gw/acl_mode versus gw/reg_no_conn_info
Your basis team should check if the Gateway settings allow external programs to register on the gateway.

Error while building Web Services for Invoking PL/SQL with ANT

I assume you have OC4J 10.1.3 webservices installed. Then you should not be using service-config.xml. Check out the 10.1.3 documentation about WebServiceAssembler. I am afraid, you are using 10.1.2 style service-config.xml along with 10.1.3 style WebServiceAssembler.

Did you use the embedded WLS?
In this case I would try a fresh install, because you should not see this error. If you are using a stand alone WLS you need to install the ADF runtime onto the server.
the error java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: oracle.adf.share.weblogic.listeners.ADFApplicationLifecycleListener means that there is something wrong with the ADF installation on the WLS server.
