Error NSURLE-error domain 1005

I am operating off Alltell for my internet hook up and am trying to load Apple software updates. Before a subject is finished I get the following error message. Error NSURLE error domain-1005 make sure you can connect to the internet. This is while the Alltell hookup is connected and working. Any suggestions?

Are you using Software Update? if so try getting them at...

Also, what are your ping times to apple, com?

  • JDev 11g update 1 base edition on windows: error building default domain

    Hi all,
(refer to [url http://forums.oracle.com/forums/thread.jspa?messageID=3168105]here for original post)
I'm posting this again with some more information. When downloading the Studio Edition (Base - no JDK) version of JDeveloper 11g update 1, an error occurs upon first (and each subsequent) startup of JDeveloper (error details below).
    Tests that I have done:
1). Install using JDK 6 u 11 - JDK did not show up automatically in the installer, had to browse to find it and select it. Running using 6u11, 6u10, and 6u7 (deleting the system directory after each try) - error occurs.
2). Install using JDK 6 u7 - JDK was automatically found by the installer. Running using 6u7, 6u11, and 6u10 (deleting the system directory after each try) - error occurs
These errors do not occur when using the Windows installer. For information: my machine is Windows 2008 Server Standard 32-bit. An update - I just tried this on a Vista 64-bit laptop (running Sun 32-bit JDK 6u10) and did not have the problem. Ergo, this seems to be an issue with the JDK and detecting Windows 2008 as a Windows platform (or possibly with whatever mechanism JDev/WLS is using to detect the OS platform). I'll do more research on that and update if I find anything.
One more update: I didn't find any issues reported like this related to Windows 2008, but I did one more test: install and run JDeveloper using:
    java version "1.6.0_05"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_05-b13)
BEA JRockit(R) (build R27.6.0-50_o-100423-1.6.0_05-20080626-2105-windows-ia32, compiled mode)                                                                   The issue does not occur using this JDK. So to summarize, installing JDev 11g update 1 Studio edition, base installer using any of the SUN JDK's on Windows 2008 gives this problem. Using the windows installer or JRockit Mission Control JVM - no problems.
Finally, one last update - the error is related to the JVM that is used to install, not the one used to run JDeveloper (via editing jdev.conf) - the offending JDK is in wlserver_10.3\common\bin\commEnv.cmd. Seems like a no-no to have one JDK running JDev and another running the integrated WLS, though. Quite a pity, as JDev starts up pretty slowly using JRockit Mission Control.
JRockit Realtime seems to be a bit faster... sigh - now to remove the 72 extra JDK's on my laptop ;)
My going forward plan: use the Windows installer. Wish I never installed Windows Server 2008.

    Hi,
This might be caused by a conflict with something already in your CLASSPATH. I would suggest the following:
    1. Shut down JDeveloper if it is already running. Delete the default domain directory:
    rd /s "C:\Documents and Settings\richard anthony\Application Data\JDeveloper\system11.1.1.1.33.54.07\DefaultDomain"
    2. From a command prompt, clear your CLASSPATH:
    set CLASSPATH=
    3. Start JDeveloper using the same command prompt as step 2:
    C:\Oracle\Middleware\jdeveloper\jdev\bin\jdev
If the problem was with the pre-existing CLASSPATH, the default domain should now build successfully.

When trying to update getting (error surle error domain error-1100). It started yesterday, any help would be great. I have Mountain Lion 10.8.1 on a new macbook pro with retina display.

There are many people suffering from this problem right now (including me). It appears to be a server issue. Just wait and try checking for updates again tomorrow.
Some things I have heard indicate that this may be a regional problem, though what parts of the world are affected I don't know yet. A few people have been helped by deleting the following preference file (paste the path into the Go -> Go to Folder window in the Finder to locate it), though most have not:
    ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.SoftwareUpdate.plist
Note that if you are trying to download iTunes 10.7, that can be found here:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1576
Also, note that there is no reason to be anxious to get it, as the only thing added in iTunes 10.7 is compatibility with iOS 6, which will not be available until the 19th, and the new iPhone, which will not be available until later as well. The new iTunes that was announced is iTunes 11, which is also not yet available.

  • Error finding a domain controller

    Hi,
I have an error in finding a windows domain controller when a PC bootup and does a network access via a Cisco wireless PCMCIA card (AIR PCM-352) managed by Cisco ACU.
    This is the situation:
    - the operating system of the PC is Windows XP sp2
    - the wireless card is an AIR PCM352 with firmware V.5.60.21
    - the version of ACU is 6.6.00
    - the Access point is a Cisco 1120 (802.11b) with IOS version 12.3(8)JA
    - wireless communication is completely open (ssid in guest mode, authentication open ,no wep)
    - the ip address of the PC is obtained via DHCP (DHCP server is a Microsoft Server)
I notice a difference between a Cisco PCMCIA card 352 managed by Cisco ACU and by Windows XP.
In fact this error doesn't happen when the WLAN card is controlled by Windows wireless utility.
Is it possible that the startup timing of the Cisco ACU is later than the Window's one?
    Does anyone resolved this error?
    Thanks in advance
    Antonio

    Hi Antonio,
Obviously you get the error of the domain not found because your wireless card is not even associated (the wireless card utility hasn’t started)
Can you clarify the line "Is it possible that the startup timing of the Cisco ACU is later than the Window's one? " . You mean start the Cisco ACU before the windows one right?
The best way to get around issues like that is to use for example the Odyssey client from Funk and turn on GINA and it should work fine.
    Rgds,
    Pablo

I recently took over this system, I believe all the configuration you mentioned should have been done.
Any pointers in verifying is highly appreciated.

  • Error in client: domain was null

I'm getting the following exception now that I've deployed one of the applications on another OC4J instance on a separate machine. I can connect fine and get the expected response when running out of my Intellij IDE or command line. Problem is I get the message I pasted below now when trying to connect after deploying on my second OC4J instance. I used port 3102 and then switched over to the default 23791 thinking this may resolve the problem but I still got the same error message. Anyone know what could be causing this and why I can connect fine at command line but not once deployed in OC4J?

  • C170 Ironport error "The query domain.name.accept failed

    Dear Community,
I have two Cisco C170 Ironport devices.  Each is throwing the following error:
"The query <domain.name.accept> failed with result inquiry timed out."
I have been unable to decipher it and was hoping anyone might possibly have a clue to look for the resolution.
I would be very grateful Community.
    Thanks.
    Rocky

    Hey Rocky,
This seems to be an error on an LDAP accept query that is configured on the appliance.
If you have indeed created an LDAP accept query, please check connectivity from the appliance to your AD servers currently set.
Please go to GUI > System Admin > LDAP
Here you can check connectivity to the AD servers and also run a test accept query.
Please attempt these tests and let us know the results.
Judging from the error, I am assuming that the LDAP accept query test will fail resulting in a time out, if it does this usually indicates either the AD server was not properly setup on the appliance, if so, you will need to ensure that your firewalls if any are in place is allowing the query traffic from the appliance to the AD server
    Please let us know.
    Regards,
    Matthew

  • Workspace Error: AUTHEN_CSSLLoginFailed:2:25:1005 Authentication failed

All of a sudden, we find that users configured in MSAD cannot access workspace, planning or any other component. when they try to do that, the error they get is:
"You must supply a valid username & password to log onto the system"
    In Hyperion/logs/workspace, stdout_log, I get the error:
"AUTHEN_CSSLLoginFailed:2:25:1005 Authentication failed for user xyz. Invalid credentials"
Native directory user is able to login fine.
Has anybody every encountered this error before?

If it is an AD configuration issue you should be able to easily validate the configuration in Shared Services, if that checks out then test searching for the problem users/groups in Shared Services, plus check out the Shared services logs - SharedServices_Security.log, SharedServices_SecurityClient.log
    Cheers

I am getting  4321 NetBT errors :1b after domain controller becomes pdc errors after moving fsmo roles over to new pdc.  The error is the DOMAIN :1b could not be regitstered with the IP of the new DC.  The computer with the IP would not allow
it to be claimed.  I can;t ping the computer that would not allow it to be claimed and I dont see WINs on out network.  This is a HYPER-V domain controller.
Is this gonig to effect network clients?

Glad to hear that it has been solved! Thank you very much for your sharing.
