While releasing transport request i am getting error message like " Object DYNP /DBM/TM_VT 2000 inactive"
How to fix it

Hi,
Go to t-code SE93 --> Fill in your t-code /DBM/TM_VT, click display and double click the program name.
Once you get in the program press the "display object list" button (CtrlShiftF5).
On the left side, double click screens --> 2000.
Press "activate" (ctrl+F3) button on the top.

Errors occured during saving of the time stamp.
System Response
Error was recorded. The current time data can not be changed, but further time stamps can be created.

Hi,
If there is no CATS record updated for any of the time stamp transactions; then the set up for time stamp transaction is not proper. Following are some of the things that need to be ensured.
1. the cats profile for updating time stmp data of terminal needs to be set up.
2. for updating the DBM order, task,item to the CATSDB table the exit CATS0002 needs to be implemented.
3. If the automatic cost transfer is active (for DBM 600 SP02 a correction note needs to be applied to activate) then HR info record 315 needs to be maintained with cost center and activity type.
4. Also note that the CATS record gets updated from DBM time stamp if controlling object has been assigned to the previous time event of the person number.

I Have developed a proxy for Inbound service Interface, I have activated the Proxy, and i have check the proxy in my test client it is working fine but when iam trying to release the request and move the request into quality iam getting an Error

SUM phase - Need to activate object METH CX_E2E_DPC_SETUP====CM001 is inactive

Hi Experts,
I am doing SUM update in the solution manager 7.1 system to update the patches.
During the Solution Manager system preparation, I have applied the below note as a part of Central correction Note.
1707803 - DPC: Grey metrics due to "Agent not registered" message
During the pre-processing - update preparation phase, SUM tool asking to release the Transport Requests/Tasks.
While trying to release the task of the TR, I am getting error as ' Object METH CX_E2E_DPC_SETUP========CM001 is inactive.
Can you please let me know, Is it ok if I activated the object.
I am able to find the 'CX_E2E_DPC_SETUP' Class under SE80--> Inactive objects-->classes.
As I am not yet done this object activation earlier, Can you pls let me know the procedure to activate the object.

I was too stucked into same issue.
I have activated object and its worked, I am able to release TR which is contained SAP note 1707803.
To activate object: Goto Tx Snote--> select SAP note 1707803--> click on option "Corrected Objects (ctrl+F6)" ---> select object "CX_E2E_DPC_SETUP"---> click on Activate.
It will prompt you for Developer key & Object key, put both key and click ok, your object will activate.
After that release TR and continue to your patch update.
[Note: Please take full backup before activating object and then try activate object]

Error "Object 'DM' (APCO) of type 'Application' is not available in version 'A'" while transporting process chain to production system.

Hi Gurus,
Whenever I try to transport a process chain ZFI_0FIGL_C10 from dev. to qua. & prod. the error “Object 'DM' (APCO) of type 'Application' is not available in version 'A'” is displayed in the end of creating transport package.
The process chain was created to load data to 0figl_c10 and it works all right on all systems (dev. qua. prod.).
The process chain contains processes for:
- starting the process chain
- executing infopackage (for loading data to 0figl_o10),
- ACR (activate data in 0figl_o10)
- delete index 0figl_c10
- DTP loading data from 0figl_o14 to 0figl_c10
- executing infopackage 80FIGL_O10
- creating index in 0figl_c10
- building DB statistics
- rolling up aggregates in 0figl_c10
- deleting of requests from the changelog 0figl_o10
- deleting of requests from PSA (0fi_gl_10)
How to find what cause that error.

A SAP consultant told me to ignore that error.
Indeed, after creating transport with some new process chains (again I was informed about that error "APCO ...") and transporting it to production everything works all right.
The problem is described in sap note: 883745.

Windows 8.1 and IE11 - Critical Error: Object doesn't support property or method 'addEventListener'

Our SharePoint 2010 sites don't work very well in Windows 8.1/IE11!!
When opening list items or forms etc we get Critical Error : Object doesn't support property or method 'addEventListener'. It looks like it's possibly linked to InfoPath forms. Given that a large chunk of our users will probably be upgrading
to Windows 8.1 as we speak this is slightly worrying!
Has anyone else noticed this, or is it something to do with our deployment? We're running SP2010 SP2 with latest CU.

In older versions of IE, attachEvent is
used to attach an event handler for some event on some element. But as per the update , starting with IE11, attachEvent is
deprecated and you should use addEventListener instead.
IE has included support for addEventListener from
IE9 and above only. So if you still need to support IE8, I suggest you use some cross-browser library like jQuery to bind event handlers instead of vanilla javascript.
As you're already using jQuery, you can bind events like below
$('#yourElement').on('click', function(){
// do something when you click on yourElement

when i try to fill the control tables and browse for the target period in HFM (sys 9.3.1) i get the error: Error: Object variable or With block variable not set.
When browsing for the target value in the location for the value no problem occurs.
Anybody a clue?

At my site, BPC Excel created this problem too "Object Variable or With Block Variable not set" .
It turned out that this is symptom of a a dys-functioning BPC COM Plug-in in XL2007 or XL2010!
This is a consequence that your Excel recently crashed while using BPC. And it relates to an Excel Add-in becoming disabled when the applications crashes. Please check the following.
Note before doing the following, close all other open Excel and BPC sessions.
Within Excel go to File à Options
Select the Add-Ins option on the left
Select the <<COM Add-ins >> option in the Manage drop down, and click Go
Make sure that the Planning and Consolidation option is selected. If not, mark this box and click OK.
If you do not see anything listed, return to the Add-in screen and select the Disabled Items option, and see if Planning and Consolidation is listed there.

I am working on BPC NW 7.5. When I am trying to access BPC for Excel I am getting the below error.
'object variable or with variable not set'
When I click on BPC for Excel it ask for the credentials, after entering it we encounter this error.
Any idea why is this happening?

I am getting an error "object variable or with block variable not set" while trying to submit data through an Input schedule.
I am working on SAP BPC 7.0 NW and using MS Excel 2003.
I can log in to BPC Admin and excel with my user id and password.
Only when i am trying to click esubmit --> send and refresh schedules i am getting this error.
I checked my security profile and i have the submit data task in my task profile.
Following couple existing SDN postings i tried to check the ADD-INs of the excel on my system. However it looks like the steps listed in the existing SDN posts are for MS EXCEL 2007.
Please suggest me how do i resolve this issue. Please note I am working on SAP BPC 7.0 NW and using MS Excel 2003.

Hello
When I try to create a new journal, I get an error "object variable or with block variable not set"
This is happening with some computers but not all of them, the same user can create a journal in some computers.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling BPC office client but that did not work.
Do you have any other ideas ?

Hi,
You have to check first if you are able to access the reporting service frm that speific client machine typing:
http://<reporting server name>/reports. If all is woking well , you have to check also the number of default sheets for an empty excel sheet (should be 3) - I ma not sure what version are you using.
If still not work, please let me know when exactly the error appear, when you try to open the template (clicking on journal option) or after when you fill the report, save it, so on.

Error Msg: The DBM Order contains old external/internal billing documents

Dear Gurus,
In DBM 6.0, the error message 'The DBM order contains old external/internal billing documents' is coming while trying to cancel a billing document which was generated in previous year and not got cleared (settled) so far.
Currently, this issue is being addressed through DEBUG mode.
Kindly let me know the root cause of this issue.

I fix the problem.
I have carefully reviewed JAVASCRIPT files and I could see that these are not a major influence within the site, only are reference code and utilities of the same application.
By removing these files nothing has stopped working, I thought I would have some error in the sliders, or opacities, but no, nothing happened.

Exception, Fault code or Error Object

For most cases I find it quite easy to decide whether to return a special value (most times null) or throw an exception.
But this time i have doubts. Imaging a graphical client invokes a server side service. The service delegates the task to a Class which has to create a special entity using given criterias (used for db access) and store the entity in database.
Except for error reporting there is no reason to give a value back to the client.
For some cases the criterias given by the client can be chosen so tight, that it is impossible to create the entity (similar to a database query, which results in an empty set). That means the criterias were not chosen too clever, but regognizing this happens only after invoking the server.
Now the client shall receive a message, what went wrong. But how should you do that?
1. Thowing an exception seems a little rough because no programatical error occurend and the user did not do a predictable mistake. But this would enable a chaining which would be translated into an error description for the client.
2. Using an "Error Object" in cases of a failure and null oder a "Success Object" for success smells like a bad style, but would not interrupt the program flow like a real error
3. return codes ... same like 2, but more stone age .. =)

I say throw an exception. An exceptional case has occurred. You can't say it's unpredictable, because you've just predicted it might happen. Or would it be possible for the UI to simply not allow that state to be reached? I don't know how your users are interacting with the UI so that's your call

Code 91 - Caused Error: (Object variable or With block variable not set)

We are using FDM 9.3.1. We have enabled batch processing.
We are having following process being followed
- Batch Loader script will pull the data from dwh table for each entity, scenario, year and period
- Batch processing is set to serial and processlevel set to Up-To-Check
- We had following five files created for Location - EMAFF100
i. 1_EMAFF100_ACT_May-2011_RR.txt
ii. 1_EMAFF100_ACT_Jun-2011_RR.txt
iii. 1_EMAFF100_ACT_Jul-2011_RR.txt
iv. 1_EMAFF100_ACT_Aug-2011_RR.txt
v. 1_EMAFF100_ACT_Sep-2011_RR.txt
Batch loader process completed the processing for May - 2011, Jul - 2011, Aug-2011, Sep-2011.
But for Jun 2011 it has given the following error in the 'tbatchinformation' table and failed at import stage.

We then re submitted data for Jun period and saw batch process got successfully completed and June data got imported successfully and also rest other processes got through.
Can any one provide exact cause for this error? As we have automated the data load from DWH to FDM And then to HFM. Hence when such error comes it disturbs lot of processing there on. Appreciate your early response.
