ERROR:Occured in data Selection in Extractor

Hi ,
When i am executing a Master data Attributes Infopackage from SRM system to BI, I am getting the following Error from RSMO Screen
Error message from the source system
Diagnosis
An error occurred in the source system.
System Response
Caller 09 contains an error message.
Further analysis:
The error occurred in Extractor .
Refer to the error message.
Procedure
How you remove the error depends on the error message.
Note
If the source system is a Client Workstation, then it is possible that the file that you wanted to load was being edited at the time of the data request. Make sure that the file is in the specified directory, that it is not being processed at the moment, and restart the request.
I have replicated the datasources from the source system and activated the Transfer rules, but still the error continues.
But when you check the error messages, it shows
1)You are not authorized to extract from DataSource 0BP_RELATIONS_ATTR in application component: 0CA_BP-IO .
2)Errors in source system.
Can you please throw some light on this issue.When i consult the Basis Consultant regarding authorization, he says he has given SAP ALL authorization which means i have all authorizations.But the error is still occurring.

Hello!
1) Go to TCODE SM59 and Check that the RFC Connection between Source System and BW System is working correctly. Check the User ID BIWREMOTE_ is Setup correctly here for RFC Communication.
2) Go to TCODE SU01D and verify that User ID BIW_REMOTE is unlocked and has ALL set in ROLES Tab.
3) Go to TCODE SM58 and check if there are any pending entries for User BIW_REMOTE.
4) Verify the IDOC sweeper Jobs (Inbound & Outbound) are running correctly to flush out the Queues.
My Gut feel is that Background Users in R/3 system do not have sufficient access set up correctly...Please post when the Issue is resolved.

Message text is :
Delta request REQU_D5XVIKL0GSIIZAWDIOB9HIOOQ is incorrect in the monitor
A repeat needs to be requested
Data target 0FIGL_O02 still includes delta request REQU_D5XVIKL0GSIIZAWDIOB9HIOOQ
If the repeat is now loaded, then after the load
there could be duplicate data in the data targets
Request the repeat?
Please advise.

Repeat delta is only available in case of transaction Data source.
For transaction datasource system stores two fields
1. Last delta
2. Repeat Delta.
In case we set request status not ok and save the status, BW System udpates the repeat delta field and thus for next data extraction system marks the request diff. as repeat delta and starts from Repeat delta field value instead of Last delta.
In case of normal delta request from BW system takes Last delta fields into consideration.

Error occured in data selection!

Hi,
data request was failed in my case when i schedule the data .
in details tab of monitor screen , under extraction it is saying " error occured in data selection".
while scheduling, i had given only one selection range of the many available fields.
is it mandatory that we should select all the available selection values?
can any body here tell me what could be the problem?

This would occur when corresponding job of BW is running at R/3 side.
How to identify that ?
1] find sm37 of BW job.
2] double click the job, click on 'job details' from tool bar.
3] from the pop up screen, note down the server and job id.
4] log in to R/3, tcode SM51. Double click the server which is mentioned in above step.
5] a list of running job would appear, find the job from job id as in step 3. double click that and clikc on cancel program to kill the job.
NOTE - if the job is already over then it would not appear in list..
now you can repeat the load.
this works, i have tried it.

Error Occured During Data Selection

Hi Community,
                       I got "Error Occured During Data Selection" when loading data from ODS to Info Cube. This info cube already contained data before but first time I didnt get complete records (both in ODS and Info Cube) so I deleted the request and load the data in both ODS and Info cube.
                      I got the records in ODS but when I am loading data from ODS to Info Cube then error displayed in Monitor display called "Error Occured During Data Selection"
                      I am working on BI 7.0. Please help me

Have you deleted the <i>Delta inti info</i> available in the info package which is used to upload the data from ODS to Cube . Here you have to make it red and then delete it.
Other wise delete the row available in RSA7( in BIW) which was created at the time od the delta init from ODS to CUBE upload.

Error in the Data Selection - Errors in Source System RSM 340

Hey Everyone,
I'm having an issue with loading a Delta for 0MAT_PLANT_ATTR. This is the second night it has happened, where I get the error "Error in the Data Selection". This error happens in the EXTRACTION part of the Monitor. And, we cannot run another Delta to see if it'll work, we have to delete the old Delta Init, and run a new one. The other error is "Errors in Source System - RSM340". That's as much it gives.
Could anyone suggest why this would be happening? I checked RSA3 in R/3, and no errors on the extraction. I also checked sm37 against the job that loads that data, and it completed successfully. I honestly don't think there's an issue with the data. We cannot have this happen often, and I just need to know if this is something that can be corrected.

There is nothing wrong with the TID's or anything like that. There is also no selection criteria in the infopackage.
When the Delta fails, the error occurs under EXTRACTION in the monitor. It seems to be successful under TRANSFER and PROCESSING in the monitor, which I find strange. Also, I run a new Delta Init with Data Transfer, and that works just fine.
So, I'm not sure what it could be?

Oracel B2B UI - Reports - "An unknown error occured during data streaming.

I have a brand new oralce soa suite 11g R1 PS2 installation, following my own instructions even, in which everything seems to work except the B2B Web Console "Reports" functionality. When no messages are available for display (as in none were sent or all were purged) the display looks fine. WHen there are supposed to be messages to display I get the web browser dialogue box saying ""An unknown error occured during data streaming. Ask your system administrator to inspect teh server-side logs." and no data. I performed a clean install on brand new VMs 4 times already, 2-5 hours each time, and every time I get this. I used Windows XP 64-bit, WIndows XP 32-bit, JDK 1.6.0_20 64-bit (on the 64-bit platform), JDK 1.6.0_20 32-bit, Oracel provided JDK 1.6.0_18, all to no avail.
Can some kind soul please tell me what I should look at / fix to have this resolved?

Thanks for getting back to me. I did try with another browser.
Furtehr investigatio tells me that this issue is somehow caused by the domain creation process when I create a single server domain with SOA Suite and OSB. When I create a separate domain for OSB all works as expected (as far as I can tell).

i am gettting a run-time error (dump) in this line of code,
netval = wa_tb_str_ekpo-ktmng * wa_tb_str_ekpo-netpr.
ktmng is data type QUAN and has reference field MEINS of EKPO table
while netpr is data type CURR and has reference field WAERS of EKKO table.
ABAP ERROR ANALYSIS SAYS :
Error occurred while data was being converted.
Please help me.

In ESS --> Personal Information --> EIC Authentication when I click on the service, I get the following message in roadmap step 1 (overview), :

Today one my task in the DAC Etl failed and when I opened the DAC log file of it. I saw the error description as below

check in data source under this we have fields tab check the format of a particular field format internal/external/check u choose internal format, if any check routine once
use Semantic Groups in the DTP.

Error while loading data by generic extractor

Hi All,
I have written an extractor function module in R/3 and i'm able to extract data in RSA3 transction properly.When i try to load the data i'm getting message 'No Idocs arrived from the source system'.
In details tab of monitor under transfer node 'Request IDoc : Application document not posted' is getting displayed.
I navigate to the source system by right clicking on the error node and selecting IDoc-Mainten in OLTP----> in IDoc Status records ---> 'Application document not posted' under it i'm getting the message 'Request REQU_XXXXXXXXX does not exist in target system CLNT123'.
could any one help me to resolve this issue.

hi krupakar,
i guess u have no rfc defined between the systems.
create a source system for that particular oltp system in your BI system.
for data to be transfered via data idoc RFC is essential.
rewrd points if helpful.

"An error occured joining the selected network" message

Very frustrating experience with Airport Express. It's tied into an Extreme (or was) and I was able to use a printer from both Mac and PC using it. After I reset the Extreme, everything was lost. Now I only get the above message when using Airport Setup Assistent. None of my computers can see it, even though it's been reset numerous times "by the book". The time I did manage to see it, I eventually got the whole system going, but now I'm back to zero. I've tried different outlets to no avail.
Has anyone had a similar experience, and how did you fix it, or not? Thanks.

"an error occurred with data fetch. Please refresh the page and retry" when open sharepoint 2013 setting cog on IE

My SharePoint 2013 has issue opening the top left cog: On amy page, every time when I was trying to click the setting cog and my name, an alert box will pop out

According to your post, my understanding is that you had issue opening the top left cog.
I suggest you to check whether you restrict the site in your browser. Please follow the steps:
Open the site in the browner, click tool->Compatibility View Setting->Add the site to be displayed in Compatibility View.
Click Tool->Internet Options->Security->Trusted Sites.
Click Tool->Internet Options->Security->Restricted sites->Allowed level for this zone: Medium.
Click Tool->Internet Options->Security-> Custom Level -> Cookies->OK.
Click Tool->Internet Options-> Settings -> Privacy -> Block content on sites from services that could track my browsing ->Off.

Extraction Error: ERROR occured in the data selection

Hello everybody,
I have made configurations for the BW connectivity. Finally I was able replicate data sources from R/3 to BW. But when I try to extract the data its giving me the error. In monitor details, in extraction node its showing like "Error occured in data selection."
Its not giving me any more messages. I think the problem is with the BW connectivity configurations. Its my guess only. Is that right? But I am able to replicate my data sources.
Please help me.

Hi:
1)Try the RSA3 extractor in R/3.
2)Try simulate load in InfoPackage.
If RSA3 is good, and infopackage is giving error, then its connectivity.
Also, create another infopackage and try again just to make sure.

Raw Read Error Rate, Errors occurred while reading raw data from a disk

hi
when I turn my pavilion dv6 2170ee computer on screen shows below error.
system diognostics (F2) does not any work
and when my windows7 comming up this error was shown.
I install Hard Disk Sentinel software and this program shows below:
Failure Predicted - Attribute: 1 Raw Read Error Rate, Errors occurred while reading raw data from a disk. Indicate problem with the disk surface or the read/write heads.
There are 28 weak sectors found on the disk surface. They may be remapped any time in the later use of the disk.
26848 errors occured during data transfer. This may indicate problem of the device or with data/power cables. It is recommended to examine and replace the cables if possible.
Replace hard disk immediately.
how can I fix it?
may drive format (Fdisk) and renewing windows can fix it?

Looks like authorization issue. Could you confirm whether proper authorizations have given to this user?
Also, run the application again get an error and then go to Transaction ST22 and see if there is any system dump for this user.
