Error occuring during import of certificate for SSO configuring in BI

Hi,
I am configuring the SSO with logon ticket for BI system.
I downloaded the certificate from portal server.
But while importing this certificate on R/3 server it shows error
"Error occurred during import"
Message no. TRUST008
Please suggest me any solution on it.

Friends these are the two issues im facing while doing the transports._i have checked the update rules in the BW DEV it is working fine._please give some solutions to overcome this issues.

Hi Gnana,
Since u r telling tht the update rules are working fine in the Dev system, request u to perform some checks:
1. The Update rule needs to be in active version.
2. The InfoObjects used in the target InfoProvider should be present in the QA system/attached to the request in which u r transporting the changed Update Rule.
3. Manually add objects, if needed all the Before/After objects in the new request and reactivate the Update rule, if it asks for a request give this new request number.
4. Compare the data model in Dev and QA system and try finding the disconnect between them.

I uninstalled Itunes because message "Itunes has stopped working" i attempted to reinstall now get error message "error occurred during installation before itunes could be configured" how to i fix for windows 8.1

I have a PC with windows 8.1. My itunes folder is stored on external drive. I haven't used itunes for a while. I got a message to update to itunes 11.3.1. I got error message that "registry settings used by itunes for importing and burning CD's/DVD's has stopped working" I uninstalled itunes and attempted to reinstall. Now i get message" error occurred during installation before itunes could be configured" How do I fix this.

"An Error Occurred During Import"

I am importing video from a Canon Vixia HF10 HD CMOS camcorder into iMovie 08. After the thumbnails are created, I select the clips I want and click on Import. I tried in a a Large (960x540) and Full (1920x1080) format and receive the same error message - "An Error Occurred During Import." I am then instructed to check the footage carefully and try again.
What could be causing this error?

I had exactly the same problem in loading files from by HF10 onto my iMac but I didn't have the same problem on my Macbook. So I tried to copy the clips from my Macbook onto the iMac but imovie on the iMac wouldn't recognise them ...
This suggested to me that the problem was with the Imac's version of imovie being unable to read the file types from the HF10.
I had, in parallel, been trying to fix an error shown when iMovie on the imac starts up :
"The QuickTime components necessary to view, edit, import, and export several kinds of movies are not installed. These components are included with the iMovie installer; please re-install"
The discussion and solution to this problem can be found under the "Missing QuickTime Components" discussion on this site however to save you time I have copied below fgalvani70's solution (Bravo !) which works perfectly ... both the missing component issue and the import issue are now perfectly resolved !!
1 - install software Pacifist (http://www.charlessoft.com/) (it's shareware but you can use without problems)
2 - Insert Original Apple installation disk
iMovie '08 missed a Quicktime Component called: “AppleIntermediateCodec.component”. This component is necessary for importing movies in iMovie 08.
So, just let Pacifist read the Install DVD and extract only the ‘AppleIntermediateCodec.component’ to the default directory.
It's under Contents of BundledSoftware.mpkg -> Contents of AppleIntermediateCodec.pkg -> Library -> QuickTime
Select AppleIntermediateCodec.component and click Install

I have to import composite role from development to QAS system.I have generated profile for each role in developemnt & create transport of composite role & moved it in QAS.But in QAS it finished with Return code 8 & I found profiles are not moved in QAS for all single roles.
Error is as follows.
Errors occurred during post-handling PRGN_AFTER_IMP_ACTGROUP_ACGR for ACGR L
The errors affect the following components:
BC-SEC-USR-PFC (Authorization and Role Management)
Please advice if anybody faced such kind of issue.

Transport Error occurred during post-handling RS_AFTER_IMPORT for ISCS L

Hi,
We are moving cube 0IC_C03 of material stocks/movements
from Dev to Quality and we are facing problem while transporting the Transfer Structure 2lis_03_BF. Other two TS moved successfully.
The transporting is failing with the below error:
Errors occurred during post-handling RS_AFTER_IMPORT for ISCS L"
We tried moving couple of times , still it was failing with the same error and even we tried to activate in Quality with the activate program .It say " there is no Transfer structure to activate.".
BW system is 3.1 c with service pack 18.

Have you checked that DataSource is activated and replicated in your R3 Quality system? Check in BW for your source system if 2LIS_03_BF is there.

What is especially interesting about your post is that you had your iPad Air replaced in November 2014 in the UK. I bought my iPad Air originally in October 2014, and had to have it replaced in an Apple Store in Bristol in November after the original stopped charging. This does make me wonder if there is a batch of faulty iPads? Mmm...
I have raised a fully escalated support case with Apple on this, and their latest response is that a 'patch' or fix is being investigated by their engineers and to wait a week or so at which point they might be releasing it to affected users - or even across every users.
I wish there was a way to get this to Apple's attention and the wider media as well, but I don't know how best to do that.
I guess the best thing we can do is keep hassling Apple for a response and raising support cases

Error occuring during importing .par file

Hi all,
I m trying to customise the logon screen for my project. For this I have downloaded the "com.sap.portal.runtime.logon.par.bak" from System administration>Support->Portal Runtime->Browse Deployement. I have locally saved this file on C:\temporary. I have renamed the file as .par and removed the .bak extension. Now I have tried to import the file onto NWDS in EP perspective by following File>Import-->Par file. But its giving me this error:
error in opening zip file
Reason: Sorry, an error occured creating the new project.
The plugin "com.sap.portal.plugins.config-archiver caused an exception during the
"Unpack" Operation See log for more details.
However, in my package explorer in NWDS I can see a project created and with the structure. But in Portal-INF I cant see seven jsp files and four text files which comprises of basic functionality of the Logon Page.
Can anyone suggest me a solution to this?

After renaming com.sap.portal.runtime.logon.par.bak to com.sap.portal.runtime.logon.par. Try opening the file with winrar/winzip to see if you have a right par file structure. On some portal versions, when you open com.sap.portal.runtime.logon.par file, you have again a com.sap.portal.runtime.logon.par file inside it.
So if you find com.sap.portal.runtime.logon.par file inside com.sap.portal.runtime.logon.par. Then just extract it again and try importing it into NWDS.

Problem with import of certificate for SSO into backend

Hi all gurus!
I'm trying to set up SSO (Single Sign On) between a customers portal and their backend system but have run into a problem I never have had to tamper with before. The customer has an CUA (Central User Administration) with SolMan (Solution Manager) as the central system and a R3 system as one of the children.
The system Connection I have created is against the R3 system and here are my questions:
Into what system shall I import the logon certificate I have exported from the portal, into SolMan or into R3?
Do I have to restart the system after the import of the certificate into the proper system?

Once you are done with the import, you need to make sure that you click Add to ACL, to add the Portal Server to the ACL list. Then as mentioned by Martin, you need to set the profile parameters login/accept_sso2_ticket to the value 1 and if the application server should also be able to create logon tickets, set the profile parameter login/create_sso2_ticket to the value 1 or 2. Then restart the R3 System.

Installation of itunes 11.5.1 failed. I get the following message "errors occurred during installation before Itunes could be configured. Your system has not been modified. To complete the installation run the installer again. So I tired agian and again

I went into control panel unistalled apple mobile device support, apple software update, apple application support,and bonjour. i have QuickTime 7.7.5 installed on laptop. I rebooted and tired again failed same error. I removed the apple programs again went into registry and deleted any reference to apple or itunes. I deleted files in program x86 directory, common files. reboot reinstalled failed. any suggestions?
Using 2 ipad airs need at least 11.1 cannot install new itunes but I can insta ll old versions but that will not work with new ipads..
