i am trying to post the document as well to create the new PR i am getting the below error messge as
'Error occurred in derivation rule. See long text
Message no. K/101
Diagnosis
: Fund From Commitment Item
No entry in a derivation rule was found for the specified source fields.
The derivation rule was set up so that an error message appears when this happens.
The required derivation rule entry would need the following source fields:
Commitment Item

Create an entry in a derivation rule for these source field values. Make sure that entries exist for all the valid source field values. If the derivation should not always be carried out, you can also define a derivation rule so that no error message appears if a derivation rule entry does not exist.

Hi Krishguna,
You need to check your derivation rule, T. Code: FMDERIVE for Fund then activate the trace, this will help you why fund is not deriving from commitment item, or tell us the detail of derivation for fund you have set.

No derivation rule entry was found for the specified source values valid on 22.06.2011.
The derivation rule was defined so that an error message is displayed when this occurs.
The system could not find a rule entry valid on 22.06.2011 for the following source fields:
Financial Management Area/Functional Area
Z001/6000
Procedure
Create a rule entry for these source values and make sure that rule entries exist for all the source values.
If you do not want the derivation to be performed in every instance, you can also change the derivation rule so that no error message is displayed if a rule entry is missing.

I don't think this is the right group to ask questions relevant to Controlling-Profitability Analysis.
otherwise, it seems in your 'Characteristic Derivation/ Display Rule values' you are missing an argument 'to Product Group', therefore the system gives you this error 'The system could not find a rule entry valid..'.

I was able to duplicate your error by creating the following.
I went to transaction FMDERIVE and created a derivation rule and named it "Fund From Commitment Item".
On the definition tab, I selected committment item (COMMIT_ITEM) for the source field and the target field selected (FUND).
The condition tab was left blank. NOTE: On the attribute tab I selected the option "Issue Error Warning If No Value Found).
I entered no rule values (F9) within the rule (for example such as commitment item XXXXXXX = fund YYYYY) and saved.
After creating this derivation rule, I get the same error message because there were no values in the derivation rule (the source commitment item used was not found in the rule).
If Fund is a field that is always keyed manually then I would not have such a derivation rule.
But you may have some exceptions (like we do) and in the case of exceptions you can populate the derivation rule with those exceptions... i.e. whenever commitment item XXXX is used then the fund should be equal to YYYY further using your conditions and attributes for your custom needs.

Error while defining derivation rules in FMDERIVE

We are currently on ECC6. While defining Funds Mgmt .... activated the derivation rules in FMRULES. But when I try to define the derivation rules in FMDERIVE .. I get the following error: Syntax error in program "RFMDERIVE003 ".

Error occured when i am applying Sap note 1465628 in step 4

Dear all,
SAP ECC 6.0 , AIX ,Oracle 10g.
when i tried to upload form (.xml format) (1465628 in step 4 ) i got the error as Error occurred when uploading file (unknown file format)
and I have checked below steps :
Call transaction SE38.
2. report name "FP_TEST_IA_01" and choose "Execute" (or press F8).
3. Enter "FP_TEST_IA_01" for the form, "ADS" for the ADS connection,
and any data in the other entry fields (these are already filled with
default values). Then choose "Execute" (or press F8).
4. output device and choose "Print Preview".
and I got the error .
Cannot find PDL type for output device HP
Message no. FPRUNX113
Diagnosis
No PDL type has been found for the specified output device.

Internal Error occurred when i log in sap b1 2007A

HI, Experts,
I have two servers in one server there is a sql server 2005 and in another server sql server 2000 with sap 2007A PL 42.
What i had done is I take a sap company back up from sql server 2000 with SBOCommon and restore it into sql server 2005.
Now after doing the above thing if i want to access the database of sql server 2005 into my sap, can i access it or have to do something else or tell me the way how to move on the problem. because after configuring the license manager the error comes

As i had said that i have a server with sql server 2005 which one is totally seperated from sap system on which sql server 2000 is also installed but not sql server 2005. Then why should i have to install sql native client. as i had take a back up from my sql server 2000 and restore it into sql server 2005 server and more over i just want to access the sql server 2005 companies in sap 2007A.
Anyways i will try your solution tomorrow morning and will update you, but please think or help me with anyother solution if it hit in your mind.

QE03: Message no. Q4111 - an error occurred when file was transferred SAP

Hi All,
I am using T-Code QE03 to view Inspection Lot Data for some inspection characteristics. I want to download the results/data into Excel for analysis.
Right now I am viewing the "Results History" then using F9 to export. The Eval. Method is "SAP_Excel," and I start the evaluation.
Here's where it gets odd - it exports the files OK, but at the end an error message in SAP appears that says "An error occurred when file XYZ.xls was transferred." Hitting the Help button just pops up "Message no. Q4111."
Why does this error pop up, each time? Any way to remove it/resolve the error?

Scheduling Error occurred with WebI Reports on SAP BO Edge BI XI 3.1 STD

Hello..
I'm using SAP BO Edge BI XI 3.1 STD.
When I schedule the webI Report on Infoview..
Everytime, it failed..
And setting the date for scheduling, it is needed to reset the data by calendar( ie. 2009. 07. 20. -> 2009.07.20.)
What is the reason of failing schedule in WebI report?
I know it was a bug on BOE XI 3.1 and had fixed with FP 1.x.
But SAP BO Edge BI XI 3.1 has no FP yet...
How can I solve this?
We must use the schedule on WebI reports for start production service on Aug...
Please let me know...

Error occured when open the Analyzer (SAP BW 3.x)

Dear expert,
I' m still new in BW. I'm having a problem to open the Analyzer (SAP BW 3.x). When I tried to open, it pop up the error message : " windows cannot find 'C:\Program Files\Common Files\SAP Shared\BW\sapbex.xla.". Below is the specs:
SAP GUI : version 710
ECC Version : SAP NetWeaver 7.0
BW Version : SAP BW 7.01
Please help me...I'm stuck and unable to start with my report development.

I think the file location has been changed. Or you are using the old Bex login pad. Try to check the Bex installation location in your machine. Or you can try to start from windows (start) menu of the system.

CRM Order: Error occurred during determination of profitability segment

Hello All,
I have created a Trade promotion in CRM, and maintained the determination condition and Discount condition for the combination of
Customer /Sales org /Product.
I have maintained settings for CO-PA in connected SAP ECC
When i create a sales order in CRM , trade promotion is determined in the order and also discount is considered in the order pricing.
When i save the order in CRM, an entry in the outbound queue of CRM is created with destination pointing to ECC, which is having the status: SYSFAIL.
The description of the error is :" Error occurred during determination of profitability segment "
Suppose when if i remove the trade promotion which was determined in the order and then save the order i dont get this error.
Hence could you please help me providing additional settings which should be done if we want to have TPM also.

I am stuck on i very critical issue, i am not able to solve it, I am SD consultant, i wrote this issue on FI forum also, but i did not get complete solution, they write me back it is SD issue.

PA is normally very customer driven, so not standard.
Without information regarding your structure there you will not get any solution.

I tried on selecting IDEA and Accounting based and eleased but still i getting same error.

All the process, form, and workflow are consistent and activated, however when I send the form in test program available in Design Time Tool I get a Short Dump (as below) followed by the error "Workflow Item Not Found, Workflow Not Started."

What can you do?
Note down which actions and inputs caused the error.
To process the problem further, contact you SAP system
administrator.
Using Transaction ST22 for ABAP Dump Analysis, you can look
at and manage termination messages, and you can also
keep them for a long time.
Error analysis
Only message types A, E, I, W, S, and X are allowed.
How to correct the error
Probably the only way to eliminate the error is to correct the program.
If the error occures in a non-modified SAP program, you may be able to
find an interim solution in an SAP Note.
If you have access to SAP Notes, carry out a search with the following
keywords:
"MESSAGE_TYPE_UNKNOWN" " "
"CL_POBJ_CASE==================CP" or "CL_POBJ_CASE==================CM00D"
"IF_POBJ_CASE~CREATE_CASE"
If you cannot solve the problem yourself and want to send an error
notification to SAP, include the following information:
1. The description of the current problem (short dump)
To save the description, choose "System->List->Save->Local File
(Unconverted)".
2. Corresponding system log
Display the system log by calling transaction SM21.
Restrict the time interval to 10 minutes before and five minutes
after the short dump. Then choose "System->List->Save->Local File
(Unconverted)".
3. If the problem occurs in a problem of your own or a modified SAP
program: The source code of the program
In the editor, choose "Utilities->More
Utilities->Upload/Download->Download".
4. Details about the conditions under which the error occurred or which
actions and input led to the error.

This can be a few things....
1. Make sure you set up your number range for CASE Mgmt (t-code SCASE_NUMBERANGE)
2. if the POBJ_MODEL is missing in your CASE Mgmt environment
3. if the doc id for your object models (process, scenario, case) are somehow "out of whack" (not matching) between CASE mgmt, SCASE_CUSTOMIZING and SRMREGEDIT
4. authorization issues (which it more likely is)... I know it sounds weird, but even giving you SAP_ALL will not do it (even it is missing some of the auth objects). You have to be able to read/write to CASE Mgmt (so the related auth objects are needed....look for ones with S_SRM* or S_SCM*). Also, WF-BATCH user needs this auth as well!
This part can be a PAIN to get sorted out.
