.dmg.part is not a complete file..  It usually indicates that the entire file has not been downloaded yet.  Are you sure you downloaded the entire file?   (i recommend updating itunes through  > Software Update

    S S Manne

    Hi Manne,
As your description, you come across an error when trying to install SQL Server 2008 express Service Pack 1 on windows XP Service Pack 3 machine. From your error log, I get the error(unable to read registry value). As my analysis, the issue could be due
to that your account doesn't have access to registry. Below are the recommendations for troubleshooting the issue.
    1. Make sure that you log in as an administrator of the machine.
    2. Please follow the steps below to make sure that you have granted the right permission to registry.
    a. Located HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft SQL Server in registry.
    b. Right click and go to Permission, then you could see user accounts or groups. If your user account is not in the list, you could click Add to add your account there.
    c. Select your account and Click on Advance.
    d. Check on both check box ('Include inheritable permissions from this object's parent'.
and 'Replace all child object permissions with inheritable permissions from this object'), click OK.
    e. Click OK again.
    Regards,
    Michelle Li

  • TDMS file error occurs after several hours

I have a compiled LabVIEW 2010 SP1 executable running on a Windows 7 PXI computer that is occasionally producing the following error message:
"LabVIEW: LabVIEW could not load the TDMS file component.
The top-level VI <my VI's name> was stopped at unknown on the block diagram of  <my VI's name>"
This program is interfacing with equipment under test over a number of PXI cards and ethernet connections. It alters inputs to the system based on script commands, while receiving and displaying outputs. During testing, state changes are sent to a TDMS file. The system can run for hours but will usually produce the above error message... eventually.
The error seems to indicate that a LabVIEW file is missing, but the TDMS files are being created, so I may not be understanding the meaning of the error. Does anyone know what the actual cause(s) of this error message are?

The code writes to the TDMS file using the "TDMS Write" VI from the TDM Streaming Palette. These write VIs are located in 12 different sub VIs in a program loop within my main VI. Every 50ms they execute, service the I/O,  and write to the TDMS file if data in the particular sub VI has changed state. Some are writing floating point numbers, most are writing strings. There are about 750 total channels being written. I know that posting the code would be more usefull than describing it, but I think posting the source code would be frowned upon by my company. There are over a hundred custom VIs and external hardware connections that are required to effectively run this code anyway.
Regarding timing, there doesn't seem to be a particular amount of time that has to pass before this issue occurs. I was given a screenshot that shows the error occured after 11 hours of running. I was also told that the same error had occured about 6+ hours into a test once. I can say that this error doesn't seem to occur quickly, as in within the first hour or so. It seems to require long duration tests.

  • Errors occur after installation of Oracle 8i

Because my computer is P4, so at the beginning I couldn't install the oracle 8.1.6 or 8.1.7 from CD-rom. I searched this forum, and according to the information I got, I changed the SYMCJIT.dll to SYMCJIT.old, and installation is done. However, at the end of the installation when I wanted to exit the installer, an error dialog pops up which says " can't write to memory at xxxxx, click OK to stop and click cancel to debug..." I just clicked the OK to stop and exit the installer. And I use SQL*plus or form to connect my DB, works fine.
However, when I restart my machine, before I log into my account (CTRL+ALT+DEL), the same error pops up again, after I click several times on the OK button, it's gone, and I log into Windows again and work fine. I want to know what's the reason for that and how to solve it.
My system environent is: P4 with Windows2k Professional, first install form6i, then install oracle8.1.7 enterprise edition.
By the way, on the other system Win2k Server, same machine, I just only install Oracle 8.1.7, no such error occurs.
    Thanks a lot
    Amber

It would help if you told us the exact problem description and ... post in the correct forum. This forum is dedicated to oracle on apple's macosX.
    What is the problem ?

  • Symbol lookup error occurs after compiling pacman

Hi there, i met some problems with my pacman before so i just decide to compile it again. I download the src and then execute the following commands
    ./configure --prefix=/usr --sysconfdir=/etc --localstatedir=/var
    make
    sudo make install
but after these, when i run my pacman, an error occurs:
pacman: symbol lookup error: pacman: undefined symbol: alpm_option_set_usedelta
i couldn't find any related information on the web, does anyone know what exactly happened?
    thx.

  • An error message after I install my sound card

I have one of MSI product. K7N2G-L (MS6570) mainboard for AMD processors. It's bios version is 3.5 (I have flashed it because of the CPU temprature measurement problem, now it show 20 C lower temprature of CPU than it was. Is this normal?).
My operating system is Windows 98 SE. After I install window I install my sound card. My sound card's model is Creative Sound Blaster Live Value. But after I install Nvidia nforce system drivers and my sound card drivers, whenever I reboot my computer I see an error message. The message is:
" EMM386 not installed - unable to set frame page address "
and after this message there says: press any key to continue.
In fact, after a while Windows 98 starts, even I don't press a key. Why I see this message and how can I prevent to see this message. What is wrong? What should I do?
If you can help me about this problem I will be so glad.

    Hi..
I am not sure but this might be one of those DOS drivers that load off the autoexec.bat.. (COs win98 does not use emm386 for extended memory managenent)..
Try this... Go to the MS-DOS command prompt, type
    C:
    CD
    NOTEPAD autoexec.bat
And search for a entry that is referting to a file in the Live installation directory and add the words REM infront of it...
    Ex.
    C:LiveLoad.exe
    make it
    REM C:Liveload.exe
Chances are u will not be needing this file to get audio in the system...
    Good Luck
    Rasika
    [EDIT]
Try putting rem infront of entry in the audoexec.bat.. u sould be able to catch it easyly

I'm still getting that sorted out, but I think while I was going through my "Common Files" folder and deleting things that looked suspicious, I accidentally deleted some kind of file for Apple's many programs that install with iTunes.  I realized my mistake when, at the next reboot, Windows gave me an error that some program could not start due to a missing .dll file and then gave me the program name, which as it turns out was Apple Application Support.  I uninstalled the support program to attempt to correct the issue, but when I did it only broke things further!  iTunes claimed that it could not work without the support software, so I tried uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes to get the Application Support program back.  Sadly, this did not work either as iTunes did not uninstall correctly, freezing windows explorer.  Then when I downloaded the install file to try again, it gives me an error almost immediately saying "Errors occurred during installation, your system has not been modified.  Run the installer again."  (I'm paraphrasing)  When I run it again, the same thing happens.
In conclusion, it appears that by deleting one simple file, I have broken iTunes permanently and I can no longer use it on my computer.  Ugh.  Can anyone help me get it back?  I can't believe I'm even asking this... I'm not really an apple fan but I do use it to put videos and stuff on my iPad and I have a bunch of playlists in there that I've spent time organizing, so I still use it as my "main" mp3 player.  This is very inconveinent!

Windows gave me an error that some program could not start due to a missing .dll file and then gave me the program name, which as it turns out was Apple Application Support.  I uninstalled the support program to attempt to correct the issue,
Let's try a standalone Apple Application Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of the issue.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:
    http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR:
    http://www.rarlab.com/
Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleApplicationSupport.msi to do a standalone AAS install.
Does it install properly for you?
If instead you get an error message during the install, let us know what it says. (Precise text, please.)
