Error occurs, repair DMM software, error goes away - rinse and repeat
This error first happened early last year, then it occurred last month and now it's popped up twice this week. What could cause a missing library to repeatedly go missing?
The error is in TestStand, but the origin in in LabVIEW:
I can't recall what I did the first time I saw this error, but the last three times it happened I fixed it by repairing the NI-DMM installation:

What are the TS step settings for load/unload? (thinking that you might be unloading the DLL in a rarely executed step then trying to reload)
Are the sequence modules all LabVIEW code or are you calling into DMM or DAQmx from other languages as well
I notice that your drivers are a bit out of date. Consider upgrading DAQmx and DMM to latest. (lots of bugs have been removed in DAQmx and DMM)
But do try setting the regisrty key first

TestStand load/unload settings don't seem to apply. This is a well-established production sequence that is running on two ATEs and I only have trouble with this one.
All modules are LabVIEW.
I'm leary of updating DAQmx & DMM, but I will once I image my HD.
I don't want to edit the registry because the problem is intermittent on only one machine and repairing the DMM installation temporarily fixes the problem.

I called tech support that switched me to customer care and after over half an hour on the phone, they told me to look it up in the forums. If you have any words of wisdom, I would love to hear them now. I guess I have to get through this registering phase to obtain the unlock code. I am surprised at how faulty this step is. I expected more from Adobe.

Go to www.adobe.com, click on "Downloads" then "updates", continue to look under "Product updates" and scroll down to "Photoshop Elements". Now you need to download the Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.2. This update will automatically remove your 3.0 edition, and your photos will be accessible in the 3.2 edition. Now you can register again. Good Luck!

Also, check your hosts file to verify that it's not blocking iTunes from communicating with the update server. See iTunes: Advanced iTunes Store troubleshooting—follow steps under the heading Blocked by configuration (Mac OS X / Windows) > Rebuild network information > Mac OS X > The hosts file may also be blocking the iTunes Store. If you have software used to perform unauthorized modifications to the iOS device, uninstall this software prior to editing the hosts file to prevent that software from automatically modifying the hosts file again on restart. -
I tried to update to IOS6 and then it asked me to connect to itune. The I got an error message when I restore my phone. right afte the phone crashed. When I tried to restart the phone with pressing the button on the top and the navigating botton for a few second, all came up was a blank blue screen. Please help!

If your phone is frozen showing the Apple logo, you need to try to force it into recovery mode to restore it as discussed here:http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808. If you're getting error 21, try disabling or troubleshooting your security software (anti-virus, etc.). Volume slider/icons and in fact, sound goes away randomly.
Well, yes. Sudonly the sounds goes away. And the volume slider and any sound related icons are gone too. Restart...nothing happens. Updated iOS, Restored IPOD, Put it back to factory default, etc. No luck. Any ideas??? Thanks!
Sounds like a hardware issue on the logic board.

Internal Software Error occurred in MIG software DAQmx
Hi All, I have a very disturbing problem. Ever since upgrading to Labview 2011 and NIDAQ951f1 I get errors like the following in code that uses DAQmx:
Error -229771 occurred at DAQmx Create Channel (AO-Voltage-Basic).vi:1
Possible reason(s):
Internal Software Error occurred in MIG software. Please contact National Instruments Support.
The strangest thing is that this happen only when I run the VI while a LV project is open! It does not matter wether the VI is part of the project or not. As soon as I open any project (or create a new empty project) the error occurs when I run any DAQmx code. To test I am using one of the DAQmx example files: Cont Gen Voltage Wfm-Int Clk-On-Board Regeneration.vi for now, but the problem occurs with the other examples as well.
I tried to resolve the issue by removing all NI software and doing a clean install, but the problem persists. Needless to say I cannot do any development this way.
Any idea what's going on? Please advice.

Have you already had a look at it?
The problem you have can also be somewhere network-related. As some networking feature are handled by the Project Explorer, this can explain why you encounter the issue only when it is open. I propose that you first check the knowledge base and then keep me updated. I will give you further info if that does not solve the issue.

I have been trying for months to put iTunes on my laptop and kept getting installation errors in Windows 7. I gave up and just installed iTunes on my PC running XP.
Now I have to install Quicktime on the laptop and once again I get an installation error 0x800736FD.
All windows updates are fine, none failed.
I have removed all apple software from my laptop using CCleaner, common files and folders. Tried reinstalling and still the same error.
Could you offer any advice on how to get both quicktime and then iTunes working??

Iam trying to update my playbook 16GB but each time i accept and try to apply the update i get a pop up in middle of screen saying:

now this is driving me insane no matter what i try it doesnt seem to manage to get past this step of the update!!
Has anybody got ANY tips or advice please!!Without knowing if you have received an update before it's difficult to be sure. The last update was feb 2013 so don't know why you need an update, unless it's a wipe or a repair.
Lets assume you live in the "western world" then try a friend's house or a free wifi spot to do the update. it's easy for playbook to get upset with router wifi settings.

I am taking an online class and trying to download assignments from Blackboard. I have never had a problem before. It seems to download, but I can't open it. It doesn't give me an error message; it just goes away. Then after that, I get lots and lots of new tabs opening and I can't make it stop unless I turn the computer off. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, I have run a full virus scan which turned up nothing. Do you have any idea why this is happening. Thanks.
Blackboard is slow at supporting new versions of Firefox, and they never support Beta versions. Look under Supported Browsers for the version of Firefox that is supported for the version of Vista or Campus Edition your school uses. That information should be posted at the bottom of most Blackboard / WebCT pages.

Depending upon which version your school is using, you will have to use Firefox 3.0.x, 3.5.x, 3.6.x or maybe even Firefox 2.0.0.20 if your school hasn't updated their software in recent years, when accessing the Blackboard site.
My advice is to install the Firefox Portable version that you need for Blackboard on your computer, and use that installation only for Blackboard. Continue to use 3.6.x or 4.0 for all other web browsing. The Portable version won't affect the official version at all. <br />

I suggest you try the very clean and very forceful AutoLoader method:

Beware that it is completely destructive...the device will be "like new"...no data, no apps, no accounts, etc. Be sure you take a full backup first, as well as make full manual documentation of all apps, accounts, configurations, etc. Sometimes a restore reintroduces the very corruption one is trying to eliminate, and manual reconfiguration is necessary.
You can also use this to fall back to a prior OS if you desire...you can install any OS level for which you can find an AutoLoader. (Hint...search over on the CB site!)

Playlist ordering with 4G shuffle NOT possible
It's not possible to sync the order of songs with the 4. Generation of the iPod shuffle. THe shuffle is playing always ordered by Artist. Changing the order in iTunes and re-sync the iPod doesn't affect the order on the iPod shuffle. Is this a bug in
