Error occurs when not logged in as admin

I have service pack 3 installed which includes 1&2. I think my error is more in depth. We cannot give all users power user access either.

freakin' awesome! of course, i never saw that scheduled task because it only shows when logged in as an admin, and apple is the only program i have that has its schedule there rather than in its own interface.
now that i have seen this it seems stupid that so many programs don't have their updates scheduled there.
i have not tested it as such but i have a task in my limited account that only runs when i'm logged on so i know that this will work. i also changed the schedule from a set time weekly to ‘at logon’ so it will actually get a chance to run.

the scheduled task sets asu to run in the SYSTEM account but then asu seems to launch the installers with the locally logged on user's credentials, so this fixed my problem but not the underlying cause.

Report printing failure when not logged on as admin

Using Business object XI, I have a VB 2005 .NET app that works fine when logged on with admin privileges, but fails otherwise. I've investigated and traced this down a single line of code which is the rep.PrintOut function.
The debug error report is shown at the end of this message.
Can anyone suggest a solution to this issue? Is it just a permissions problem and if so what permissions are required?

Thanks for the feedback. Since this appears to be a permissions issue there's one other thing to check. When the merge modules are installed there's often an option to install for "me" or for "everyone." Make sure the files are being deployed for everyone.
Here are links to some RDC and .NET documents as well as the Statement of Direction for the RDC. I'm not sure if you'll actually be able to pull them up though. Some documents require a login for the Service Market Place in order to view them. Hopefully these will work without logging in.

How do you reset Admin password (when not logged in as Admin)??

Here's my predicament. I set up 3 accounts on our laptop - one for me and my wife (Standard accounts) and a House Account as the only Admin. Now, I don't remember the password for the House Account, which serves as the Admin.
I am trying to load new software, but it request administrative privileges. To make matters worse, when I try to install the MAC OSX startup disk (like the help manual says you should to reset the admin password), before my computer will restart the startup disk, it asks me for the Admin password. Because I am not logged in as the Admin, I can't even restart the computer when prompted by the startup and install the OS again.
Any suggestions or help with this issue?

Did you create an Open Firmware password as well? If not then just insert the OS X Installer Disc into the optical drive and restart the computer. After the chime press and hold down the 'C' key until the spinning gear appears below the dark gray Apple logo.

Annoying failures and reminders when not logged in as admin

how can i stop apple software update (asu) from constantly bugging me when i'm not logged in as an admin?
i like the automatic check (noone likes updating everything manually) but every apple program fails to install unless you're an admin. it would be much better if asu checked before it looked for updates, or let people know there are updates but they cannot be installed unless they are logged in as admin.
what's worse is if it downloads an update and the install fails because you're not an admin, asu downloads the whole file again when you do log in as admin. these files should be cached in a temporary folder in asu's 'program files' folder until the install is successful or a newer version is available.

Internal Error occurred when i log in sap b1 2007A

HI, Experts,
I have two servers in one server there is a sql server 2005 and in another server sql server 2000 with sap 2007A PL 42.
What i had done is I take a sap company back up from sql server 2000 with SBOCommon and restore it into sql server 2005.
Now after doing the above thing if i want to access the database of sql server 2005 into my sap, can i access it or have to do something else or tell me the way how to move on the problem. because after configuring the license manager the error comes

As i had said that i have a server with sql server 2005 which one is totally seperated from sap system on which sql server 2000 is also installed but not sql server 2005. Then why should i have to install sql native client. as i had take a back up from my sql server 2000 and restore it into sql server 2005 server and more over i just want to access the sql server 2005 companies in sap 2007A.
Anyways i will try your solution tomorrow morning and will update you, but please think or help me with anyother solution if it hit in your mind.

We get this error when we try to check the properties of an analysis server using SQL Server Management studio(right click the instance name
and check properties). We have resolved this issue twice by Stopping the SQL Server analysis service,removing db folders from Analysis Server Data folder and starting the services back on. The db folder that we removed was advised by the BI team.

If I understanding correctly, you encounter the error randomly, now what you want it that avoid this issue completely, other than stop the services, detele the db filder and restart the services, right?
The error might be caused by that the data file is corrupted. However, we cannot give you the exact reason that cause this issue. You can troubleshoot this issue by using the Windows Event logs and msmdsrv.log.
You can access Windows Event logs via "Administrative Tools" --> "Event Viewer". SSAS error messages will appear in the application log.
The msmdsrv.log file for the SSAS instance that can be found in \log folder of the instance. (C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSAS10.MSSQLSERVER\OLAP\Log)

You need to set the FCP X Preferences to count in frames, locate that frame, delete the clip around it and replace with a fresh one.

CHange General preferences to show frames. Check what's happenING at the frame number. Maybe replace the shot.

I'm getting this error code in Final Cut Pro. The operation could not be completed because an error occurred when creating frame 2829 (error -1). What does this mean and how can I fix it? This code comes up when exporting.

Final Cut Pro X 10.0.8 and I'm running it on OS X 10.9.1. I have been doing nothing different for the past few months. I have been creating a weekly video and exporting the same way and everything, but it just did this today for the first time. I have never had this error code before.

Switch your FCP preferences to show frames and see what's happen at that frame number. Try trash any render files. Switch off background rendering. Don't render. Try replacing the clip at the problem area.

I'm trying to export a movie in motion but I keep getting the error "Export Failed. The operation could not be completed because an error occured when creating frame xx (error-1)". I've tried some of the other suggestions such as preventing app nap, changing the codec used and I've uninstalled, rebooted, and reinstalled motion. Nothing has worked so far, and it's driving me crazy!
Can anyone suggest something? I'd be most grateful.

Hi GFXZen, thanks for your reply.
I actually solved by re-exporting the source video, but I'll get to that (to skip, see TL;DR). In case it helps anybody else I'll answer your questions first.
The only element present at the majority of the failure points was another video, so there weren't any others to turn off. Though when I turned off the video and exported, it actually worked (this is what led me to evaluate the source video rather than the motion project).
Adjusting the export settings did not help me much, I tried h.264, same as source (which was a .mov), and ProRes 4444: failed. Tried as a draft: failed. I didn't want to mess with any of the other render settings because to be honest, I'm not a video editor, so my experience with all of this is severely limited.
I forgot to mention in the first post that I'd already tried the export on a different machine (one far newer and more powerful): failed. Dispite googling image sequences, I wasn't really sure how this related to the video, or how to set things up so the audio was preserved, so I skipped that.
TL;DR
According to what I googled, it sounded like the video needed to be reindexed/exported/whatever, so I downloaded a program MPEG Streamclip (http://www.squared5.com/svideo/mpeg-streamclip-mac.html) 1.93b8 (as the stable doesn't support Lion upward). It's completely free, and when I ran it, worked first time. I simply opened the video and exported to quicktime, and changed the compression to Apple TIFF. That was it.
There was one unusual thing though, the file I started with was just over 1GB, but the end result was just over 4GB - but visually I couldn't see any loss in quality at all, and it worked in the motion project - which is really all that matters.

and I have checked below steps :
Call transaction SE38.
