Error of Managing the interactive dashboards

When I log in to Oracle BI Presentation Services, and choose Settings > Administrator, then click the Manage Interactive Dashboards link, I click the permissions (Lock logo) of one Dashboards, the error appeared:
Account not found.

Error Codes: WMZSCCGV
Any one could help me? thank you!

I encountered this issue when I migrated a dashboard from a Dev server to Test server. I forgot to set up a couple of new Catalog Groups in the Test environment which existed in our Dev environment that had access to this dashboard. I had TAR-ed the Shared Directory structure for the dashboard and reports and moved it to Test. This error message popped up when I was checking security for the dashboard. Once I created the two missing Catalog Groups I was able to successfully open the Manage Interactive Dashboard.

  • No such method error when launching the Interactive form

    Hi Experts,
I have developed a simeple Java Webdynpro application and added an Interactive form without any controls in it. Created the context with one value node and a binary value attribute.
I have assigned  value node to datasource and binary attribute to pdfSource. When I launch the application I am getting the following no such method error.
    java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: com/sap/tc/webdynpro/clientserver/uielib/adobe/api/IWDInteractiveForm.setTemplateSource(Ljava/lang/String;)V
The currently executed application, or one of the components it depends on, has been compiled against class file versions that are different from the ones that are available at runtime.
If the exception message indicates, that the modified class is part of the Web Dynpro Runtime (package com.sap.tc.webdynpro.*) then the running Web Dynpro Runtime is of a version that is not compatible with the Web Dynpro Designtime (Developer Studio or Component Build Server) which has been used to build + compile the application.
My NWDS is of Version 7.0.06
and J2EE Engine is of Version 6.40.
any guess why I am getting this error.
    Thanks
    Chinna.

Issue solved. Compatablility issue NWDS 2.0 Version should use for NW 2004.

  • I am Unable to see Interactive dashboard Create Button!

    Hi
I am trying to create Interactive Dashboard,But unable to do so,This is how i did in Answers web page,I clicked on setting and then choose Manage Interactive Dashboard..Its showing me like this i mention that message below this page. They i dint see any Create Button.
Please advice me how to do this?

    Interactive Dashboards
Listed below are the Interactive Dashboards to which you have access.
You don't currently have access to any shared Dashboards.
    ****************************XXX*********************************
    Thanks
    Chi(shangai)

    Hi Chi,
Are you by chance just starting with a new presentation catalog from scratch? If you haven't created any shared folder the button doesn't show up. Try creating a shared folder (any) and then you should be able to create a dashboard. You have to base a dashboard on a shared folder, and if you have none then you can't create it. Another possible reason (like suggested above) could be that your user doesn't have the right to create a dashboard.
    Cheers,
    Ilmari

  • OBIEE Interactive Dashboards - Need help

    Hi,
I have series of requests in my current OBIEE project which I have listed below. Appreciate any help.
    1. On my Interactive dashboard, I am displaying reports as links under various sections. On clicking each link a report opens in a new window. Is it possible to display the name of the report as the window title ?
    2. Is it possible to display the interactive dashboard which I get by clicking the dashboard Menu link like HR, procurement and Spend on a new window ?
    3. when I open a report by clicking the link on the dashboard page and then by leaving the report open in a new window, I close the dashboard page and reopen the dashboard from a new window why does the page default to the last opened report rather than showing the dashboard page. For eg., I have a report link "A" on My Dashboard page. After opening the report A in a new window I close the dashboard page. Now I open a new browser window and login to answers. After I login, instead of showing "My Dashboard" page, the dashboard opens with the Report A. Only after clicking the my Dashboard menu link I am navigated to the My Dashboard page. How can I navigate to the dashboard page on login rather than the last opened report page.
    4. Last but not the least, when I login to BI Answers I am navigated to EBusiness page, where I see a "Logout" link. But when I choose a responsibility and navigate to Interactive dashboards page the logout link is no longer available. I am logging in as "Administrator". How can I get back the "logout" link.
    Thanks!

Also note that I did update my Adobe Reader.  Below are the instructions from the site:
Follow these simple instructions for filling out and sumitting the Application:
    1. Download or save the the form to your computer - please include your last name in the name of the document.
    2. Fill out the form (be sure you are filling out the one you saved to your desktop, not the one in the popup window).
    3. Ensure that your email server (whatever you use) is logged in
    4. Click the "Submit" button
    5. Choose your "Send Email Prompt", click Continue
    6. Your email application should open and attach the PDF to the body on an email.
Once complete, you'll be able to send the form by clicking the "submit" button at the bottom of the form, but you'll want to have your email account open and logged in.

    hi,
there is a problem with the connection pools.
can you check the connection pools assigned in the rpd?
and also, if a driver for the same has been created in odbc.ini file ?

    Srinath is 100% correct.
If the deployment failed, then there will very likely be some mention in the log.
You state that you checked the log, but you didn't mention whether you found an error, no error, a successful startup, etc. you are providing painfully few details to assist.
I would bet if you posted your .log and .out logs to Pastebin.com - #1 paste tool since 2002 and provided us links, We would be able to point out the error.
Lacking that information, my best advice would be to re-install and double-check you're completing all steps in the correct order.
Also, be sure to always search the product documentation first, the search this forum. For basic issues (e.g., standard installation), there is a high probability that someone else has asked that question.
    I hope that helps,

  • Error message is 'The Request Error : 400' with SAP Download Manager

    Hello,
The authorization object SWDOWNLOAD (download software) is assigned to the My user ID.
But I could not download below that file.
    SAP_ABA 710 (4~8)
    SAP_BASIS 710 (4~8)
    PI_BASIS 2006_1_710 (4~8)
    SAP_BW 710 (4~8)
Error message is 'The Request Error : 400' with SAP Download Manager
I logged on to SAP Service Marketplace, software download area /swdc.
I have created objects in the download basket and have received approvals (->Maintenance-Optimizer) where required.
I start the SAP Download Manager and the objects from the download basket are visible in the object list of the program window.
After I choose "Objects for Download", the system starts the download.
In the info-line (in the lower part of the window), the system displays the message 'Processing object...' and then 'The request failed: 400'.

    Hello,
In these cases the following things should be checked:
1.- Please be sure that you are using the latest Donwload Manager version
2.- S-User and password should be active
3.- Specify the proxy. Please refer to SAP Note 155954
4.- It might be that you are not licensed for the product you want to download.
If the checkings above are correct and the problem is still alive, I would recommend you to open an SAP customer message under component XX-SER-SAPSMP-SDM providing the following information:
1.- The exactly software product name and package or stack number you try to download.
2.- Attach to the message the results of the trace file generated as per note 574885:
574885 - Download Manager: Generate trace file for analysis
    I hope this helps you.
    Regards,
    Blanca

  • Error connecting to the Exchange Management Shell - and no one can connect w/ Outlook or OWA

Whew - I'm not sure what's happening but everything blew up this morning when another admin rebooted the server...
I can't connect to the Exchange Management shell - I get this:
[<servername>.<domainname>.local] Connecting to remote server failed with the following error message : WS-Management cannot process the request. The operation failed because of an HTTP error. The HTTP error (12152) is: The server returned

And in digging around, re-running the sharepoint PSConfig appeard to be a fix for a related issue I was reading about, and since there didn't seemt to be any harm in running it again (I did find the technote and had manually ran it after SP1 was installed)
I ran it and this is an excerpt from the log:

server is joined to a server farm.  Possible reasons for this failure could be that you no longer have the appropriate permissions to the server farm, the database server hosting the server farm is unresponsive, the configuration database is inaccessible
or this server has been removed from the server farm.  To diagnose this problem further, review the extended error information located at {0}.  If this problem persists, run this wizard again to disconnect from the server farm.  After disconnecting,
run the wizard again to create or connect to an existing server farm.
So I seem to have some massive permissions issues.  Is there any kind  of a technote or walkthrough that can step me through verifying what permissions should be where?  The connect to Internet Wizard won't complete complaining it can't configure
the email and to run it again.  That caused the Set Up your Internet Address wizard to not run, complaining you have to run the connect to Internet wizard.

Is there any update on the issue?
No.  I gave up and rebuilt the server - this time inside of HyperV!
It's definetly a problem of some sort of a problem with IIS, that much is obvious.  It's frustrating, because by not being able to get to the Exchange Management Shell it made recovery of the Exchange database VERY hard.
The rest of this will be a bit of a rant so feel free to stop reading here if you like :)
I'm pretty unhappy with the fragility of recovering an Exchange databas in general - there is a VERY narrow range of parameters to get mail back - and very many things that can prevent you from recovering.  Had I suspected that there would have been
1/10th the pain in recovering mail, before I tried to connect the clients to the new exchange I would have made .PST files for everyone - which would have worked since they all had cached .OST files, even if the clients couldn't talk to Exchange due to the
aformentioned IIS problems.  Anyway, it was a total nightmare, extremly frustrating and while many of my problems were probalby self-induced, the total lack of a coherant disaster recovery strategy has at least motivated me to be EXTREMLY diligent about
backups - and not just backups, but ensuring that the SBS backup is working and occasionally firing up a clone VM and doing a restore to ensure the one of two ways Exchange can be successfully backed up are indeed working.
With such an extreme dependence on IIS for client acces AND managemet of Exchange, there really, REALLY needs to be more documentation on how Exchange uses IIS, how to step through the registry and other low-level internals to troubleshoot and compare.
I must have read just about every technet article and literallly hundreds of blog entries on recovering Exchange - but the lack of information about Exchange's integration and dependancies on IIS were the most frustrating of all.  Talk about putting all
your eggs in one basket and a huge single point of failure ticking time bomb!
And I think it was either SharePoint Express or an accidently applied SharePoint Express update that blew up IIS.  A few days after that update got applied the server was restarted, and that's when everything went completly sideways.  That's whats
even more frustrating - that so many applications are so dependant on a now essential layer is frustrating.  I realize SBS is an exception to the rule - generally Exchange is installed on it's own server and this isn't a remote possiblity, but any update
(or installer) that messes with IIS really needs to check the environment it's going to go into, and if there is anything at all that could possibly cause a compatibility issue, the update should "fail open" and not install wtihout explicit confirmation
from the admin that he wants to isntall it.  Then again, another admin either ran the installer or approved the SP Express update so that still may not have saved me  - but if he saw an explicit warning he probably would not have just clicked through
    it!
Oh well - thanks for reading if you went all the way through.  I'm just glad that it's now over :)
