Error offset null

Hi. I try to take a data of torque on shaft with strain measurment (half bridge system with 2 gages on 45 degrees). Everytime when turn on offset null data starts from 0 and then jump to 80 Nm. The problem is that jump. I dont have any load to have that jump and i dont have prestressed state. I use filtering ( low pass 1hz) to get over the noises in static system. Can anyone help me with that jump problem. Thanks.

Thanks for reply. I set AC & DC Estimator VI to show me starting and established values. Then with constan I move all values to zero (any time I wаnt). After that I can start loading to the shaft normaly. What you think for that solution?

Error 200380 occurred at DAQmx perform bridge offset nulling operation

I had a working VI that could balance a wheatstone half bridge and read and record measurements. My sensors are attached to a SCXI-1314 modle in a 1520 box in channel 0 (positioned as in the manual for half bridge) with the completion resistors in the appt places in ch7. It used 'custom voltage with excitation'.
Wanted to improve this VI so that it would also do a shunt calibration. I therefore connected the shunt resistor in the board over my active sensor as in the manual. I tried then to create a virtual channel for it - but it wouldn't work. So I gave up on that idea and tried to put things back how they were - deleted the virtual channel, and removed the connections to the shunt resistor. Except now none of my previously working VIs will work. I have built a new VI, and that can find a signal but not balance the bridge. I get:
error 200380 occurred at DAQmx perform bridge offset nulling operation.
I have checked the hardware again, and it's all wired correctly - it seems like the VI can see the channel but doesn't know what to do with it. Have running the VIs with and without a custom voltage with excitation channel created but nothing works.

Have you tried re identifying the chassis in Measurement and
automation explorer?
Have you changed the jumpers at all as when rewiring this is easily
overlooked?

Problems performing offset null and shunt calibration in NI PXI-4220

I am using a 350 ohm strain gage for the measurements, i have already create a task in MAX, when i want to perform offset null in the task, the program shows a waiting bar and the leds in the 4220 board start to tilting, but when the waiting bar stops, MAX gets blocked. it has been impossible to me to perform the offset null, what can i try?.
which will be the correct values for the parameters beside the gage parameters for the strain measures?

Thank you for contacting National Instruments.
Usually when this problem occurs, it is do to incorrect task configuration or incorrectly matched quarter bridge completion resistor. Ensure that you have the correct Strain Configuration chosen. The default is Full Bridge I. If you only have a single strain gauge in your configuration, you will need to change your configuration. Also ensure that if your are using a quarter bridge completion resistor make sure that it is 350Ohm not 120Ohm. If the resistor if 120Ohm you will more thank likely not be able to null your bridge.

Bridge Offset Nulling Doesn't Seem to Work With SCC-SG24

Does anyone know if the DAQmx "Perform Bridge Offset Nulling Calibration" vi works with the SCC-SG24 modules? We have used our NI-9237 module in the past to acquire dual-channel load cell (thrust & torque) measurements, and calling that vi does a fine job of zeroing out the values before applying the load. However, it doesn't seem to work when we try to take the same measurements using an SCC-SG24 module.
We are able to zero the values manually, by using the nulling resistors and potentiometers in the SCC-SG24. But, whether the nulling resistors are installed or not, we are not able to zero the values using the "Perform Bridge Offset Nulling Calibration" vi. Running that vi does induce a significant offset in the values, but it is not the correct offset needed to bring the values to zero. For example, with no load applied, a torque reading before running the vi may be +1090 in-lbs, and be "zeroed" to -465 in-lbs after running the vi. Running the vi multiple times (to check repeatability) always brings us back to approximately -465 in-lbs.
An additional issue (not sure if it's related or not) is that if we try to run this vi to offset just one of the channels in the task (such as just thrust, but not torque) it will still induce a small offset in the other channel, which doesn't seem right.
I guess I'm not clear on whether the subject vi is performing an operation on the hardware, the software, or both, so I'm not sure whether the SCC-SG24 modules may not be compatible with this vi?

I think that the DAQmx Perform Bridge Offset Nulling Calibration should work for the SCC-SG24 module. Take a look at this article: Removing Large Initial Offset for Load Cell or Strain Measurements with SCXI-1520 or PXI-4220 in particular it mentions that using this VI in addition to the auto zero can introduce an offset. If you're doing both these is likely the cause.
Also, when you specify specific channels using the channels input are you also setting the "skip unsupported channels to false? If not this may be why it affects other channels.
I hope this helps, and if not please feel free to post back with an update after trying these things.

Could someone kindly please help with my iTunes Store error? When attempting to view the music tab on iTunes store on my iPad 3 states the following error: new null response and cannot connect to iTunes Store.
It's extremely annoying as I only bought a new album yesterday and its suddenly got an error. I can use the films and tv programmes tabs which is strange, so its only the music tab not working. I have tried everything from other websites and blogs but nothing is working for me.

Hello there Mattspur,
I recommend sections 1, 3, and 5 of the iPad Troubleshooting Assistant found here http://www.apple.com/support/ipad/assistant/ipad/. If you get to section 3 I suggest closing ALL the apps.
Here is section 1 to get you starrted:
Restart iPad
To restart iPad, first turn iPad off by pressing and holding the Sleep/Wake button until a red slider appears. Slide your finger across the slider and iPad will turn off after a few moments.
Next, turn iPad on by pressing and holding the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Is iPad not responding? To reset iPad, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least 10 seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If your device does not turn on or displays a red battery icon, try recharging next.
IF that does not resolve the issue, I would take a look at these articles next.

While deploying the adobe-livecycle-websphere.ear file iam getting the "java.lang.OutOfMemoryError.Error is null." Can you help in rectifying this error?
We are Thinking that this error is because of heap size, if we are correct please do let us know how to increase the heap size.
We kept Initial Heap Size box as 256 and the Maximum Heap Size box 1024.Also we tried with Maximum Heap Size box as 0(Zero) but we are getting the same error. Please Help us ....

Do you have WebSphere 6.1 SP5 installed?
What version do you get when you execute the command %JAVA_HOME%\bin\java -version?
This is coming from the installation document:

When you run the LiveCycle ES installer, you should run it as the same user.

Weird error -DebugMode null::Transaction/WinGuiRenderLayer

Hi All,
I have been getting the following weird error whenever I try to run my application through portal. The same application (just a simple SAP tx iView with SAP GUI type as Win gui) was working fine till this morning. Not sure whether or not there had been some changes in the server side that might have taken with/without knowledge of the basis guys.

Basically my connection to R3 works and also connection test worked fine.
As mentioned earlier, everything was working fine till yesterday morning and then I started getting this debugmode window and after pressing the button 'go' I can able to see my application (if there is any alias, port problems I think I should not be allowed to get my application running .. right!!!).
Can you please explain me in detail about how to locate the winGUI path???

Issue with Results from Another Query (Error on Null value)

Hi All,
We have a WebI report using "Result from Another Query" option of BO XI R3.1. The report was running fine till recently the dimension object using result from another query had a null value. Report suddenly throwed error as the query filters are invalid.
Is there a way to make this filter optional if no data/null value is there ? Because we need those null values in report as well.

It was not directly solved but I applied alternate logic to over come the issue.
Here's what I did to overcome:
I used a sub query in place of the whole result from another query.
For Ex:
Dim1 inlist result from another query1
I made it as
Dim1 inlist (Dim0)
where Conditions.
Here Dim0 is the object which we use for Result from another query and Conditions will be the necessary filter conditions to arrive proper Dim0. Make sure proper context is formed for the sub query.
Even though it resolved my problem, It introduces an new issue. It causes increase in query run time when huge set of data is returned from sub query.
Please let me know if i haven't explained clearly.

TypeError: Error #1009 - (Null reference error) With Flash.

I am not an expert in flash, but i do work with AS and tweak Flash projects , though not having deep expertise in it. Currently i need to revamp a flash website done by one another guy, and the code base given to me, upon execution is throwing the following error.
"--- TypeError: Error #1009: Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference. at NewSite_fla::MainTimeline/__setProp_ContactOutP1_ContactOut_Contents_0() at NewSite_fla::MainTimeline/frame1() --"
The structure of the project is like, it has the different sections split into different movie clips. There is no single main timeline, but click actions on different areas of seperate movie clips will take them between one another. All the AS logic of event handling are written inline in FLA , no seperate Document class exists.
Preloader Movie clip is the first one getting loaded. As i understood the error is getting thrown initially itself, and it is not happening due to any Action script logic written inline, because it is throwing error even before hitting the first inline AS code.
I am not able to figure Out what exactly it causing the problem, or where to resolve it. I setup the stuff online, for reference if anybody want to take a look at it, and here is the link.You need to have flash debugger turned ON in your browser, if need to see the exception getting triggered.

And i think this third line of code is where the exception is being thrown. But as i understood, this code is not written by the developer. I had nto seen this code, anywhere in the actions. Hopefully this will give you hint about what is exactly causing the issue and what can be done to resolve it.
