Error on execution of a report

Hi all,
when am executing a report calling smart forms i can get the output in 300 client.
But when i transported to pre production, after giving the parameters in the report and on execution
it throws the following error

Have you checked, i think you have missed some components to transport to PRD Please Check for any Structure that you are using in Smartform on the PRD,

Is the issue with this specific concurrent program?
Can you find any errors in the CM/OPP log files?

Error while navigating from a report in OBIEE

I get the below error while navigating from one report to another report
Odbc driver returned an error (SQLExecDirectW).
Error Codes: OPR4ONWY:U9IM8TAC:OI2DL65P
State: HY000. Code: 10058. [NQODBC] [SQL_STATE: HY000] [nQSError: 10058] A general error has occurred.
[nQSError: 16001] ODBC error state: 37000 code: 1101 message: [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Could not allocate a new page for database 'TEMPDB'
because of insufficient disk space in filegroup 'DEFAULT'. Create the necessary space by dropping objects in the filegroup
, adding additional files to the filegroup, or setting autogrowth on for existing files in the filegroup..
[nQSError: 16015] SQL statement execution failed. (HY000).
Any inputs on this is highly appreciated.

There is no Temp space in Data base to run queries .Please contact your DBA to increase your db size

Authentication error while exporting the SSRS reports to excel from a timer job.

Below code written in the timer job Execute() method to render the reports and get the byte array but it works fine when the application run in windows authentication, but throw error when the application extended to Form based authentication in SharePoint

How to capture the first execution of a report

Hi,
I am executing a report in background. The first time the report is executed I have to do a different processing. After the 1st execution I have to different processing.
Someone please tell me how to capture the 1st execution of a report. Is there a system variable ?

A couple of years ago i would have recommended using the INDX table, but it has got it's demerits.
Maintenance of Z-table is easier than the INDX table. Say there is some error in the program & you want to override the flag. Will it be easier to do so in the INDX table or via SM30 for the Z-Table?
As a matter-of-fact i will recommend using the solution provided by Florian the TVARVC technique.
1. Create a parameter(specific to your program) & transport it.(See the trxn STVARV)
2. In your program check the value of this param & set it accordingly.
Using TVARVC you will 2 birds with one stone:
1. You don't have to create a custom table.
2. Easy maintenance via STVARV trxn.

Error -2147352567 when using Save Report vi

Hi,
I'm developing an end of line test bench software for a firm. Things were going fine till I came across an unexpected error which I fail to comprehend. My code runs a motor simulation and saves the data in two separate excel files. When I have the path disconnected from the Save Report to File.vi (screenshot 1), my program runs smoothly and saves one of the files and returns an error due to the Save Report vi being disconnected (as expected). But when I connect the path to the Save Report to File.vi, I get an error -2147352567 (screenshot 2) at an append table to report.vi elsewhere in the code, which worked perfectly fine before the path was connected to the Save Report vi. Also, now the second excel file gets saved because its path has been connected. I cannot understand what the issue is. I could not find any source that gave me a reasonable fix to the problem either. I have been using Labview for less than 2 weeks, so forgive me if I have overlooked anything.

Apologies for the confusion in the earlier post, thank you very much for clearing it up.
Following my last post; the error was due to a race condition. There was no data flow used between the two separate report files being written. This means that LabVIEW will try to perform the two bits of code in parallel. However, this was occasionally causing one of the sub-vis to be called by the two different parts of code at the same time, which was causing the error.
This is why the code would run without the above error if you disconnected the path to the first "Save Report to File.vi", as this part of the code wasn't running, allowing the second part to run freely.
To counteract this I simply wired the "error out" terminal of the "Save Report to File.vi" (the one which used All_Saved.xlsx) into the "error in" terminal of the "New Report.vi" (the one which used Template.xlsx). Because VIs cannot operate until all inputs are filled, this forces the writing of the first report to occur before the writing of the second report, not at the same time.
I have attached the revised version of "EOL_V1.vi" where you will be able to see the how I have wired the errors to force execution.
I also noticed that you have not initialised your "set speed" shift register. This means that each time you run the program it will retain the last value from the previous run. Is this intentional? This means that your spreadsheet does not update correctly if you were to run the program twice in a row.

Getting An error has occured while processing Report error

Ok so I know that the
An error has occured while processing Report The query processor ran out of internal resources and could not produce a query plan.
has been discussed a million times, but I have a problem that I think might be new. I can not change the query that is in use. I need to be able to force SQL to use as much memory as it needs to generate the execution plan and run the query regardless of
impact on performance. Is there any way to do this.
I am running SQL2008R2.
I know that the best thing to do is rewrite the query or to break it into smaller parts but I can not do anything with the current query.

LO 02010 / LO 26631 error while embedding a crystal report in a Dashboard

Hi Experts,
I am trying to embed a crystal report in a Dashboard Design using LiveOffice 4, and i am getting the below error.
"An error occurred while opening the report. The report does not exist; you have insufficient rights to open the report; or you cannot make a connection to the BusinessObjects Web Service. (LO 02010)" and "Crystal Reports Java Format is not supported. (LO 26631)"
I am logging in as an administrator and the report does exist in the CMC.

We did a upgrade from BOBJ 3.1 to 4.0 recently, and need to migrate the existing dashboards. DB connections to the reports have changed, hence the need to embed the migrated reports to the dashboard.
Yes, I get this error when i try to embed a crystal report in dashboard. I do get the same error when trying to embed a WEBi report too. As you suggested, i tried inserting a sample crystal report, and that inserts like a charm.

Error while running the financial report in the workspace.

Im getting the below error while running the financial report in the workspace in HTML mode.
*"Required application module reporting.HRRunDlg is not configured. Please contact your administrator".*
And im not able to login to the Hyperion Financial Reporting as well.. i get the below error
*"You are not authorized to use this functionality. Contact your administrator"*
Can someone let me know how to resolve this error.

You don't mention the version, what app server or web server you are using, etc.. That information might be helpful, but in general, you can try the following:
1. Make sure you have gone through the FR Web App deployment steps and verify the settings entered in the Config Tool.
2. For version 11.1.1.x and 9.3.1.x, try opening the report in FR Studio and running it via the FR Studio Print Preview (*bold*not*bold* Web Preview.) If the report runs/processes, then the back-end FR Services are functioning and the issue is confined to the web interface. Verify the FR Web App is up and listening on the designated port (8200, by default), check the FR Web App logs and the App Server (WebLogic, WebSphere, Tomcat, OAS) logs for errors/issues.
If the report fails to process in FR Studio Print Preview, then there is a problem with the FR Reporting Server Service. Check to make sure the service is up/functioning and check the FR Report Server logs for errors.
3. Test access to other FR functionality in workspace (ex: Files->Preferences->Financial Reporting or Explore->Tools->Database Connection Manager?) If these don't work, then try to connect to the following URLs:
http://workspaceServer:19000/hr/status.jsp
http://frWebAppServer:8200/hr/status.jsp
Note: The URLs above assume standard/default ports. You may need to adjust them for your environment.
If the first URL fails, but the second URL works, there is a problem with the HTTP redirect settings on the Web Server (Apache, IIS, etc.) Run through the Workspace deployment and make sure the Web Server Config settings point to the right ports/servers.

I am working on SSRS 2008 R2.
My Colleague gave me one RDL. I have added it to my SSRS project on BIDS & Tried to Open by double-click on that RDL.
I got a popup error saying "Failed to open report 'reports_List.rdl'. clicked on
Details button & noticed error explanation as . "Invalid character in the given encoding. Line 1, position 1".
When i try to View Code of this RDL, I got another error message saying "Exception from HRESULT: 0x80041FEB"
Can anybody suggest me ... what exactly the root cause of it? how can i resolve it ?

Did you use Visual Studio 2010 on your test? It is a known issue of Visual Studio 2010. Please refer to the following document. It has fix method provided by the Microsoft Web Development Tools team to work around the issue.
