Error on Installation of LV executable installer
I built an executable and installer using the LV application builder. On a couple of computers when the installer is run, the error in the attached jpeg is returned.

Thank you for your help it lead me to the source of the problem. The NI Released License Agreement - Simplified Chinese.rtf file was present but the extension was cut off because when the file was unzipped the file path was longer than Windows file path limit. So I just made the file path shorter and fixed the extension and it worked.

hi all,
i downloaded the j2ee sdk 1.4 bundle and installed successfully on my suse 8.2. however when i tried doing it on another suse 8.2 machine using the same bundle i got an error that says :

richThis message will be issued if files necessary for installation are not found once the self-extracting executable extracts its content. If you successfully used same distribution file to install on another machine, it is very likely that the distribution file got corrupted while being moved from one system to another.
If you use ftp to transfer files between systems, make sure that you transfer file in binary mode.
If you don't have the original distribution file anymore, you might need to download the distribution again. -

I am getting the error in solution manager 3.2 installation . I am doing installation using system copy / backup restore method .
Getting ther following error -
"CJS-00084 SQL statement or script failed. DIAGNOSIS: Error message: SP2-0310: unable to open file
"CONTROL.SQL"ORA-01012: not logged onORACLE instance started."
Kindly suggest the solution.

I have successfully installed ASCS,SCS, and configured 1st MSCS node.
While installaing DB instance on 1st node SAPINST did not allow the physical host name of the node and gave the error oracle was not installed,install oracle before continuing so went ahead with the virtual hostname.I had faced oracle connectivity issues during import ABAP ,I changed the added the physical host name in listener.ora and continued.But durig the import java dump phase I guess the physical host name in expected in secure store key file.I can't edit the secure store file as config tool is not installed yet in the system.Please suggest me solutions and guide me whether I am going in the right direction.

The SAPINST should allow the physical host name to get chosen you should not get this error.
You have to first install the oracle DB and after that Oracle failsafe at both nodes ( not in parallel) . Further while doing the DB instance installation on first node the SAPCLUSTER and ORACLECLUSTER should be online.
Can you mark the steps you did in sequence.

Error when running measurement explorer; corrupt installation on Windows XP
When I launch measurement explorer in Windows XP, I get an error stating: Unable to open connection to server. Config.mxs file or installation corrupt. Please delete config.mxs file in the same directory as NIMax.exe,please delete file, reinstall and then check ni.com if problem not fixed.
I have tried deleting the config.mxs file and have reinstalled NIDAQ 6.9.3. Whenever I try to install NIDAQ 6.9.3, I get an error message 1605 relating to the installation of NI-Pal 15.6f0. I continued the installation when prompted. Could this be corrupting measurement explorer?I figured out how to get MAX to install properly under WinXP. My clue came when I had to change permissions in the registry before I could delete the registry settings when reinstalling. MAX must have to write something to the registry when it first starts up, and I noticed the whole registry tree had no permissions even after the re-install. After going to the national instruments top level registry entry, I changed the permissions to full control for administrator. Then click on Advanced and click replace permission entries for all child objects. After this, I could start up MAX with no problems. I would suggest backing up your system before you try this. I don't know if this is something NI can fix with the install or if this is a WinXP problem to prevent
having to do all this in the future. -

I—and I've seen several others in older posts—have been reported received the error "An unexpected error occurred while creating a custom installer" while attampting to build a customer ARD client installer. My guess is that this is do to a issue related to 10.8.X (10.8.4, in my case) based console Mac but I cannot confirm this. I have verified that there are no outstanding OS, client or application updates or hot fixes, as well.
Has anyone built an successful installer from Mountain Lion-installed Mac? Is there any know workarounds?

Got through the steps of creating a custom client installer.
if I choose not to customize and just save an installer I don't get the error but it creates a file of Zero bytes in size.
If I chose to configure, when I try to save I get:

I tried to install iTunes 10.5 this morning but an error appeared saying "problem with windows installer package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run." Can someone please help
Firstly, are you installing iTunes for the first time or are you updating your current version of iTunes?
If you're installing iTunes for the first time have you tried redownloading the installer package? Perhaps the file you downloaded originally is corrupted...

If you've tried that, then try installing iTunes as your computer's administrator. To do this right-click the install package and choose "Run as administrator".
If you're updating iTunes to the most recent version try repairing the Apple Software Update program on your computer. It's under the add/remove programs.
1. Open the control panel
2. Open Add/Remove programs (called "Programs and Features" in Windows 7)
3. Navigate to "Apple Software Update" in the list and click on it
4. Click on "Change" then select "Repair" (or just select the repair option in Windows 7)
Once you repair this, try running iTunes and the update again.

I am trying to install iTunes 12.0 on my Windows 7 PC to sync my iPhone6. I am getting error message, "Item already exists" on installation of iTunes 12.0. Apple has no fix. Help???
Item or object?
For "Object already exists" or "Access denied" errors when installing try opening Control Panel > Programs and Features > View installed updates then checking for Security Update for Microsoft Windows (KB2918614). Uninstall if you have it, then reboot and try installing again.
For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.

Try downloading the trial. It ought to detect that you have a 64-bit system.
You aren't using Vista, are you? PSE 13 requires at least win 7 and I think a few folks with vista have gotten a similar error message on trying to install it. -
During installation of itunes using Windows 7 64-bit, I have this error come up every time during installation.

Anne MarieProbably should've searched around a bit more. Just saw a similar forum post to my own in which redownloading and burning solved another user's similar issue. As of now I've redownloaded the 64-bit ISO, burned it, and so far so good (at 72% extracting files). I will repost here if it was a success in hopes that other users with a similar issue find this and benefit from it. Hope I didn't just waste anyone's time with a question that had already been answered (haha)

remove your caps database. this shows the location for cs3. make the obvious changes for cs5.
