Welcome to the forums !
Does your application function normally without errors ? If so, these messages can be ignored.
Pl see MOS Doc 422419.1 (R12, 12.1.1 - How To Enable and Collect Debug for HTTP, OC4J and OPMN) for specific settings that can cause these messages to be recorded in the logs.

Hi Team,
I am running one conc programme.
After running I am getting below error. I checked the issue on metalink and other, seems that it is an size related issue. I have increased the size of formula columns and placeholdder too.
But still getting issue.
My requirement is to get comma seperated values using SQL query itself. Neither i wanted to create layout of the report , since it is a XML publisher report and nor I am including it on RTF template.
I want the CF_10 formula column to be populated with comma seperated values.
MSG-00187: From Date 01-Sep-2014
REP-1401: 'cf_10formula': Fatal PL/SQL error occurred.
ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error
And Here is my code for CF_10
function CF_10Formula return Number is
begin
SELECT NVL(TO_CHAR(sum(Amount),'99,99,99,999'),0) into :CP_5 --NVL(ROUND(sum(Amount)),0) into :CP_5
-- xxhw_Coll_cat(category) "Intercat Catg"
FROM hhxw_Region_col_v
WHERE Category IN ('Intercompany - CATV')
AND trunc(gl_date) BETWEEN TO_DATE(:P_FROM_DATE, 'DD/MM/RRRR') AND TO_DATE(:P_TO_DATE, 'DD/MM/RRRR');
RETURN ROUND(:CP_5);
end;
Anyone please suggest me.
Regards,
SachinHi,
1)Why are you selecting the value into a report item? Select into a local variable and return that
RETURN :CP_5 --> This one!!
2)And you should avoid applying functions to DB columns in where clauses wherever possible, so oracle can use indexes on them if applicable:
AND gl_date >= To_date(:P_FROM_DATE, 'DD/MM/RRRR')
AND gl_date < To_date( :P_TO_DATE, 'DD/MM/RRRR') + 1;
I think you are taking 2 column in the Layout CF_10 and CP_5 right? if so, then use below Query.
FUNCTION cf_10formula
RETURN NUMBER
IS
v_amount NUMBER:null;
IS
BEGIN
BEGIN
SELECT nvl(round(SUM(amount)), 0)
INTO v_amount --> Retruns the value for CF_10 column
FROM hhxw_region_col_v
WHERE category IN ( 'Intercompany - CATV' )
AND gl_date >= to_date(:P_FROM_DATE, 'DD/MM/RRRR')
AND gl_date < to_date( :P_TO_DATE, 'DD/MM/RRRR') + 1;
:CP_5 := nvl(trunc(v_amount),0); --> Retruns the value for CP_5 column
EXCEPTION
WHEN OTHERS THEN
v_amount := 0;
srw.message(1003,'Error in Getting :' ||p_from_date);
END;
END;
And
If you've got a number function returning into a number field then all you should need to do to make the comma appear is to change the number format mask in field.

Hi All,
I am trying to run a report containing the images stored in blob column in database 10g, while running the report I got following error ..
ORA-24801: illegal parameter value in OCI lob function
Cause: One of the parameter values in the OCI lob function is illegal.
Action: Check every parameter in the OCI Lob function call to make sure they are correct. Offsets should be greater than or equal to one.
I didn't understand with this the cause and the solution of error....Any body could please tell what exactly it means and what we should do.
Any help will be highly appriciated.
Best RegardsHi Don,
The reason why i posted the item on 'data Connectivity issues' is because i suspect the problem is with the connection string.Though i had provided the correct connection string,re-writing the connection string with the same info might help to fix the issue with loading the report.
Does it mean that there is a problem in the connectivity?
I have a risk here that i cant re-write the connection string..i.e to open the RPT file in VS2005 and bind it.The production web server & database server sits in a third party environment and it is not in the company network.So i cant connect to this server to re-write from any other severs in the network.
Is there any fix which can applied to the server to get this issue resolved?
Cheers

Error while exporting : ORA-24801: illegal parameter value in OCI lob funct
hello,
I am doing an export on a 10.2.0.4 , solaris machine.
The table i am doing an export has a blob & clob.
During the export I get the error :
EXP-00056: ORACLE error 24801 encountered
ORA-24801: illegal parameter value in OCI lob function
In metalink it was given : Check every parameter in the OCI Lob function call to make sure they
are correct. Offsets should be greater than or equal to one.
Where should I check for that OCI Lob function. Or is there any other alternative to do the export.
Thanks for any help.I have increased the space on the mount I was doing the export and that solved the problem.

-NNIt's only a quick guess but have you checked your tnsnames.ora file to ensure you've opened the environment to find the libraries? If you set the EXTPROC_DLLS=ANY, you open the database to security issues but it should tell you if this cause because you can't access the library that contains the symbol.

robyavthis is a production database runing in windows platform and there is no backup
what should iWell first of all you should stop using EXP for backups, it's quite unsuitable, and start using RMAN instead. Find out more.
If you have a Metalink account you shoudl read Note:298968.1. But teh headline is there is a bug in 10gR1 which is fixed in 10gR2. This may not help you much. The workaround is to try running the export again later, which may not be any more helpful.

CNS-9025 An internal error occurred. ORA-00904: EXTRA_COL: invalid ID
With our new version of Mobile Server (10.2.0.2) a lot of problems seem to have been solved. In older versions we didn't succeed in republishing. Meaning we had to drop the old version en publish a new version. Doing this meant we had to redo data subsetting for every user, which is a lengthy task. Besides it triggers full refresh for every user, that is a major one as well.
In the new version a lot goes better, but still we are experiencing some problems (or challenges).
Again the main issue is that in the course of time our application grows.
Now we stumble into the simple issue:
We want to add a column to our database.
What we do is the following (as described by Oracle):
- Add the column (EXTRA_COL) to our 'mother'database
- Alter the snapshot definition for this column (add the column)
- Republish...
When I resynch the new column appears on my client, so far so good.
However if I change something to the data on the client and I do a resynch I get:
"CNS-9025 An internal error occurred. ORA-00904: EXTRA_COL: invalid ID.
It seems as though 'internally' the column is not added everywhere it should be.
For example the CEQ$table does not have the EXTRA_COL column.
I'm quite sure that somebody else should encounter these problems as well as new views lead to data structure changes quite often.
Anybody encountering this as well, and more important, somebody got a clue on what is going on?
Thnx in advance.There is a bug with 10.2 where the re-publish of a item that has has ddl changes (like an extra column) does not always work correctly. It seems to be intermittent (at least in our environment) and the symptoms are
alter base schema table
re-publish snapshot (note if the snapshot definition is the standard 'select * from ...' you should not need to do anything apart from republishing)
no errors reported in the re-publish
however the new column has not been added to either CEQ$object OR CFM$WTGPI_nnnnn (the inqueue table for the object) - the missing column on the CFM$ table is the source of the error shown above in the posting as there is a mismatch when the data is uploaded
dropping the publication item would fix the problem, but be aware if you have any users out there, when they synchronise any data being uploaded for a publication item that has been dropped and re-created will be LOST with no error being reported (in the sync history you will see a blank name in the upload section), due to the internal mapping having changed
We have found that normally when this happens forcing a republish of the affected object by making a change to the selection logic (eg adding something like 'id is not null') and republishing again fixes the problem - as with a lot of mobile issues, fiddle with it enough and it will eventiually sort itself out -
ORACLE error 959 encountered ORA-00959: tablespace 'xyz' does not exist
im importing a dump to a newly created BD and im using 11g. I have already tablespaces and user for the dump to be imported.
The problems is, i have a total of 5 tablespaces created, all 4 are working well except the one tablespace and im receiving a 959 error(IMP-00003: ORACLE error 959 encountered
ORA-00959: tablespace 'xyz' does not exist). The log mentions that the tablespace does not exist even if this tablespace exist in the list of tablespace and datafiles created.
Hope you could help me with this. Thanks

here are the result of my query and it seems that the tablespace is recognized by the DB.
is there still any reason why? also when i try to drop the said tablespace in getting a response of the "tablespace does not exist" but when i try to create the tablespace it says that "ORA-00604: error occurred at recursive SQL level 1
ORA-00001: unique constraint (SYS.I_TS1) violated"
hope you can help me with this.
