Error on saving a .rpt in the Enterprise-Folder

Hello,
i have a special problem in saving a Crystal Report in the Enterprise-Folder of the BO-Server.
The reports is based on xml-files and has serveral dynamic parameters, which are used in the Selection Formulars for the Record Selection.
On creating and saving the report locally, there is no failure message. If I try to save it on the Server for using the report in the Info-View-Portal i get the message:
Failed to read data from report file local temp file.rpt. Reason: Failed to read parameter object.
Has anyone a clue, why this happens?

Maybe I should have been more exact in my problem description.
We work with CR2008 as a standalone solution, without BOE XI installed.
But we tested the solution on a another system, where BOE XI 3.0 is installed and the Business View Manager works.
There we edited the rights in Repository Explorer according to the SAP Note, but nothing happend to the report - it is still not storeable there as well as on the other system.
On checking the items in the Cascading Prompts Folder I saw, that the parameter(s) does not appear there. No wonder, the report is not stored in the BO Server and so it can not appear in the list. Is this a part of the problem?
What else can be the problem?

I have installed Adobe Lightroom CC. In the process of launching, a popup appears, that says: "AN INTERNAL ERROR HAS OCCURRED. Cannot create the required folder: /Users/(my user name)/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Lightroom/Develop Presets." So even though Lightroom CC is installed, it will not launch. What do I need to do to allow it to launch?

The problem was solved today. Here's the full story. I'm a Mac user. At first I installed Lightroom CC on my iMac (desktop). I had this problem so I called Adobe, and was referred to a "special unit" . After about an hour the tech solved it for me ... we did a screen sharing and she took control of my computer for a loooong time. Because of language difficulties, at first I wondered if she knew what she was doing but she eventually solved it. Although she couldn't explain exactly what she was doing, she summarized it by saying "it was a permissions problem." I asked if I would have the same issue later when I installed it on my laptop (Macbook Air). She said probably not.
But I did. The same internal error popup arose on launch and launch did not complete on my laptop. I tried chat but no joy so I eventually called Apple Care. I had noticed that on my laptop (and the iMac for that matter), that there was no Library folder after my user name. The Apple tech explained that the Library folder is actually there but it is hidden because it's very easy for users to do some very nasty things to their computer by going astray while in the Library folder. The folder is actually there, but they hide it. I did remember seeing that the tech helping me with my iMac had typed the work "Library" while she was controlling my computer. Basically she had activated the hidden Library folder so she could open the path that Lightroom was trying to follow to create that "Develop Presets" folder. For some reason, the inability to create that folder in the launch process was preventing launch from being completed. The Apple tech said she didn't actually have to do that and activated the Library folder by use of the Go selection on the menu bar. Anyway, once that complete path was replicated and opened, the next step was to go to the Lightroom Permissions field and add my user name to the user categories already there and enable "read and write" permissions to my user name. Once done, I shut down my laptop, and then rebooted. I launched Lightroom and then boom, voila, heavens to betsy, etc. it launched and suddenly a dismal weekend turned into a great one.
I am not a geek, so I hope this makes some sense. I also hope Lightroom launches again tomorrow and beyond!

Error while testing Driver connection Through The EnterPrise Manager

I am using OAS 10.1.3v for my application.I am using both SQL Server 2000 JDBC driver and Oracle JDBC driver for my application. I am encountering problems due to SQL Server 2000 JDBC driver.
I tried testing for connectivity for SQL driver through the enterprise manager.(on the em console, inside home/administration/JDBC resources ). I am getting the following error :

I tried adding mssqlserver.jar to the shared library.Still, i got the same error.
The connection which i am trying to test, has the following entry in the data-sources.xml :

Here you have to enter the port of your application server. By default this is 80<SAP System ID>. But your basis administrator can modify this setting, thatu2019s why you should check it in the transaction SMICM (Goto -> Parameters -> Display). For example the IBSolution Development System Erinome the port is 8000.
You can also have a look into your services file on your machine. If you have a windows machine then the file exists e.g. here C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\services
In this file you should search a entry like sapms<SAP System ID>.

Accidentally saved a file in the hidden folder /Volume??

I accidentally saved an attached email file in the hidden folder /Volume. Since it's a hidden folder, it doesn't show in the finder. However, in Mac Mail, if I try to save an attachment, I see the Volume folder there along with the file I saved there...
How do I delete that file in this hidden folder??

After typing Volume or /Volume in the search box of the Go To Folder option, nothing comes up?
Strange, I can see it as an optional folder to save to in MacMail but Finder does not see it?

HUGE iTunes AND iPod ERRORS! From "missing files" to the "! Folder"...

My video iPod (30GB) was bought only about a month ago. It was working fine until a few days ago, when the Music Store wouldn't work. I tried to update it, but it stayed the same. I also saw a message asking to update my iPod software (forgot version #, but it's the newest one), so I opted to update it. I don't know if what happened next is a result of this, or if it just happened, but here's what happened:
I found my iPod off and when I turned it on, it shows the ! Folder and turns off. If I put it in disk mode, it is black and white and in smaller text (looks similar to the Mini rather than the Video). I couldn't get to anything else after turning it on besides disk mode and the folder. It makes that noise recognizing it, but it's not in My Computer either.
I tried updating iTunes, but I get a message (this is after trying to restore the system back to before I updated) "iTunes cannot run because some of its required files are missing. Please reinstall iTunes." Of course I do about 5 times, but it does not work and I get the same message. Then I try to back up by using the CD given in the box to install it from there, but it says that there is already another version and I'd have to uninstall by the Control Panel. When I try, I press Change/Remove, but it only loads halfway and closes without doing anything. Therefore I can't get rid of my current iTunes. I see if I can update my iPod, but it says that there is an iPod Service error. It seems like Apple is out to get me or something. Please help, this was a "partial" gift (I paid half) that was pretty pricey for me also, since I am only 14. Any help would definitely be appreciated, and thank you all for your time.

The help wasn't really on this site (mainly), but I'll tell how I got the life back in my iPod. Thanks for the reply though Hackstar18.
I used a DIFFERENT COMPUTER though (we have two) for this since the first one had a corrupt iTunes. I went to My Computer to see if my iPod was listed under there. At first, I didn't see one, so I disconnected it, and noticed that something called "Removable Disk (G:)" (or something along those lines) was removed from the list. Then I reconnected my iPod and it came back, so I knew the (G:) disk was it. I clicked on it, and it said it wasn't formatted correctly, so I decided to format it. It took about an HOUR to do this, but it finally formatted it. I then tried to update/restore it with my 2005 updater (I uninstalled 2006 one). It said "iPod manager internal error" which is different than the "iPod Sevice error" I was getting. I thought I was getting somewhere and that I was onto something, so I went on iTunes (it works on this computer). It showed me the popup where it asks the name and to register, and I was RELIEVED. I installed the 1.1 version and tried it, and after having to close the iTunes window, it recognized it and gave me the option to restore. Of course, while being shocked, I did, and after the short wait, I noticed my screen was back to color, it was responding, and it was back to normal! The update removed some of the things like the backlight option people were talking about and I noticed the options on the main menu were less, but it was back. I'm glad I DIDN'T request to get it serviced/repaired and send it in, because I was so close to doing so. Now, I just gotta transfer my old songs from my defective iTunes on the other computer to this computer.

Integrated into WD application means -> Interactive form generated in SFP transaction is used in abap webdynpro application.
Offline scenarion -> Since it is an interactive form, user will fill the form offline and submit it by email.From the webdyn pro appliaction user will download the form to the local desktop.Fills it offline and submits the form.
Now the interactive form generated directly from sfp tcode is working fine.I can fill the form,Sign it, save it and submit the form.
But the form downloaded from the WD application cannot be saved and is not allowing to dogitally sogn the form.
Its giving error The document could not be saved. there was a problem reading the document(26).

Error in saving large value with the data input query

Hi,
I am trying to save a large value in 0Quantity using the data input query into a realtime infocube
e-g
123456789.1234
Error says too many digits.
When i try to save 8 digits before the decimal point ,no error, if it is 9digits before decimal it's thro' error.
Is there any limitation before the decimal.
i know that 0Quantity can take 17 digits including the sign.
Any suggestions.?

Hello Ajaz,
BPM-70801 is a very generic error that can have multiple causes. Please provide the error log from servers log file. From what I understand, you are using a separate soa_server1, so watch out /your_domain/servers/soa_server1/logs/soa_server1.log

Error displaying Log Files page from the Enterprise Manager App. Svr. CtL

The error message is:
Failed to initialize configuration management user session. The Oracle AS Repository API threw an exception when obtaining the connect string to the Metadata Repository

The OID Process is running.
But
I cannot get the OC4J_SECURITY process started either.
Can someone please help me with this.

did you already stop and start your SMD agent on OS level ? It is not enough to restart it from the SMD.

Hi,
Found a note explaining the significance of these errors.
It says:
"NZE-28862: SSL connection failed
Cause: This error occurred because the peer closed the connection.
Action: Enable Oracle Net tracing on both sides and examine the trace output. Contact Oracle Customer support with the trace output."
For further details you may refer the Note: 244527.1 - Explanation of "SSL call to NZ function nzos_Handshake failed" error codes

Error while saving config in MSY

Hi,
I am working on taking MSA 5.0 SP7 go-live. I am working in MDW. I posted a SDN post long back regarding the custom partner functions in MSA and got it resolved (followed the note 521871). I am trying to do the same in the PROD system and i am facing errors:
-> When i goto Cross-Component Settings->Relationship Categoty-> click on NEW i am getting the errors:
1. 'MTBLLFW-The attribute destination of the business object
relation type is not valid'.
2. 'MTBLLFW-the attribute source of the business object relation
types is not valid'
But it is allowing me to add an entry. When i save my customer entry i am getting the error :
3. 'UI_CORE_SAVE_FAILED_STA-Errors while saving'.
I ran the consolidated prefill for 5.0 and SP07. I followed the same procedure as i did in DEV. In DEV i never got these errors. I was able to create them in the first attempt.
If anyone has any idea please let me know.

did you already check i.e. compare the customizing subscriptions for both DEV MDW and PROD MDW sites?
Also you should check & compare the download monitor for CDB load in the CRM system(s).
I assume sth is missing there (see also your other post).

Error in File UNKNOWN.RPT (Crystal for VS 2008)

I have read and implemented nearly every suggested solution to solve this riddle of a Crystal Error I am stumped with. Of course, on my dev box the report runs perfectly, as it should. However, if I deploy my simple report web project to my client's Windows 2003 Standard Server, running IIS 6, I get this error. I have literally implemented, or attempted to implement every single suggestion Google users have to offer, including adding security for nearly every user that has ever existed, to nearly every folder that has ever existed. I have uninstalled/reinstalled/upgraded from Crystal for VS 2008, up to Crystal 12, down to Crystal 10.....and the same exact error appears.
 
Here is what my report app consists of:
1. A single Crystal Report for VS 2008, in a reports folder (which I have granted full control permissions to everybody and my mother, along with permissions to Windows/Temp)
2. That report, when called from the code behind, loads the report and immediately exports the report to a stream, so I can render that stream to a pdf viewer for the user. (yes, very simple)
3. (I do pass load a dataset that is passed into the report too)
 
What happens on the server when the report is referenced/ran 
1. A Crystal .rpt file is geneated in the Windows/Temp folder 
2. The frustrating error appears on the screen 
 
I have read through all BO suggested fixes for this, and nothing. 
I have implemented all types of permissions changes, and nothing. 
I have checked then rechecked the registry settings (even though everything happens on the C: drive), and nothing 
I have reinstalled different versions/runtimes etc...and am now back to the original Crystal for VS 2008, and nothing 
 
My only total confusion, is that this report runs fine on my new Windows 2003 server. The only difference between my server and my client's server, is that my client's server also has Helm installed. That's it.
 
What is next? Is there any other solution I have not tried?

I would pin this on the Helm (e.g.; works without, does not work with...). Couple of things you can try:
1) Call who ever you got your particular Helm from and see if they have any ideas
2) Use Process Monitor to see if it tells you what files / folders / reg entries are not being accessed. ProcMon is here:
