Why am I suddenly getting this error when I want to download a video on WhatsApp FileIOExeption-not enough memory on the file system to complete this action

Appear to be error whatsapp application server that has the problem to download the video.
Try asking again sending video and download.
If your problem evidences the persistence trying to lose the vidoe connected to wi-fi.

I get java.io,IOException: Failed to transmit when I input my phone number into Whatsapp. I need help to get past it because I have made sure my data has stayed on while trying to connect and it still has not worked and I keep getting this message.

Data sense setting error after WhatsApp update

I hav updated WhatsApp and now its saying that you data sense restrictade background data so plz turnoff restrict background data. I hv done the same but its again throwing the same msg and its stucked. Plz help.

Hi,
Today there was a connection error with WhatsApp. I needed to send something, so decided to delete and then reinstall the app to try and attempt to fix the connection problem. I am using the iPhone 5C.
Once I redownloaded the app, I opened it and the app asked me for my phone number. I typed it in.
But to my surprise, I got this error:
Could not connect to WhatsApp service. Please try again later.
After several attempts of writing my phone number (100% in the correct format) I had found no luck or success.
Anyone else having this error, or is it just me? Please provide some steps on how to fix this if so!

Thank you for the heads up. It seems like it's working now.
For everyone with this problem please thank AlbertoRuperto and follow these steps:
1. Restart your iPhone.
2. Open WhatsApp.
3. Enter your phone number.
4. Enter verification code (if you're a new member) or just click 'Next' if you're a returning user.
5. Done! All your contacts should be there and your chats (as long as you backed them up).
P.S. This only applies to people who redownloaded and are stuck on phone verification page.

WhatsApp no longer available for new iPhone downloads?

My factory-unlocked iPhone 4, bought straight from the Apple Online Store, was delivered to me on Friday. I tried downloading WhatsApp from the App Store but the app couldn't be found there. I tried going through the WhatsApp site in the hope that the site would direct the download through the App Store but that didn't work either. So I then tried to sync the programme file, which was working on another iPhone, to my iPhone through iTunes but that won't work either. The transfer goes through to the phone but I keep getting an error saying "WhatsApp failed to install." Am I to conclude that WhatsApp is no longer available for the iPhone for new downloads? The WhatsApp website still has the iPhone listed as one of their supported devices but the installation just won't work. Has their policy changed? If so, is there any other free multi-platform instant messenger that I can use for contacts who are BlackBerry and Android users? I haven't any issues downloading any other apps at all and the phone works beautifully. Please someone help me with this one! Thank you.

App upgrade or download gives me error.

I have a Blackberry 8520 Curve, it worked fine for me for more than a year now.
But now everything sucks because no app works anymore after i download or upgrade.
I get a "App verify error" on all the apps i've upgraded and/or downloaded.
Firstly i recieved the upgrade for the facebook app, so i did the upgrade, and now, well, the icon doesnt exist on my phone, i tried everything, from device wipe to rebooting countless times..
Now for another eg. My whatsapp gives me the following message on screen after i click on it to open:
[ ERROR STARTING WHATSAPP:ERROR LOADING MODULE 'WHATSAPP' VERIFY ERROR. ]
(just right click and open in new tab if it doesn't show)
It does this with most of my apps.
How do i fix this? because installing and deleting and rebooting and even device wipe doesn't solve this..

Experiencing errors

Good Evening.
Just Downloaded WhatsApp. When I open the App I get this.

Most often Reinstalling the same resolve such issue , have your tried to reinstall Whatsapp after deleting it from Options > Device > Application Management ?
Try it and check if that helps .

N8 Tries to connect to net all the time

I've tried everything. I have even deleted the access points in Destinations for all my Celullar data.
This is what I have done (step by step).
Issue - Trying to totally kill Cellular Data connection
Steps taken
1. Switch network to GSM only mode (EDGE will still be available apparently - Whay is that?)
2. Went to Connectivity settings and changed the data usage in Home Netwrok to "WLAN Only"
The double arrow is now gone (no data connection) but I am now getting this error message (as if it's trying to cycle through all the available operators access points settings such as internet, WAP, MMS and Streaming) and since I only allowed WLAN, can't find anything so getting this Connection Failed, Acess Denied box near the Signal bars
So I figured that some widgets or application is trying to access the net.
Steps taken
1. Removed ALL Widgets except the shortcuts and things that I know does not need the net.
Still not working, still getting the Connection error ...

1. Removed the GMail mailbox since there is no option for Manual retrieval for Gmail (what the heck is up with that?)

1. Rebooted the device and saw that Whatsapp is running automatically from restart. Checked the settings. Yeap, it's setup to look for Cellular Signal. Changed that to Wifi.

I get a strange feeling that with all this issues I have, I now see the wisdom in Apple Review Process for their App Store. All sort of cow dung is in the Ovi Store and it's causing all sort of grief to the end user.
The pendulum is swinging so far to my iPhone it's not even funny.
EDIT: Just as I post this message, I get the error message again .... seriously Nokia? Come ON!!!! Give me a toggle button to kill Cellular Data and make sure that once that is off, I don't get all sorts of error message.

WhatsApp tries to connect to the internet constantly, no matter what you do.
I had it installed and it was doing the same thing, it didn't stop until i uninstalled it. There are other Apps that do this too, but I don't know what they are.
It's not the phones fault that you downloaded an App that requires the internet, and its not Nokia's fault the App requires the internet.

Blackberry 8520 Keeps Restarting Randomly! Need Help Now!!

I've had my blackberry for more than a year. My blackberry keeps on restarting after a send someone a message on whatsapp. A message pops up on my blackberry saying that there is an error with whatsapp and something about terminating. Its really annoying. It always does this after I use whatsapp. It always does this after I use whatsapp.Its been happening for the past 3 day! Could Someone Help Me.

We understand your situation is urgent to you...but please understand that this is a volunteer-contributed user-to-user community. No one is paid to participate here, but rather does so out of the kindness of their heart. As such, it is customary to wait 24 hours before "bumping" your thread to try and re-gain attention.
Nevertheless...from what you describe, this is a problem with WhatsApp itself...and you would need to contact the developer for support of their app.
But, have you tried the basics yet? As in, removing, rebooting, and reinstalling the app?

Application not dispalyed

Hi, I upgraded some applications and got this problem, Twitter doesn't wanna display its icon on the screen and the rest like whatsapp, wechat and etc doesn't wanna open @ all they show some error like error starting whatsapp: error loading module 'whatsapp' verify error. Pls help me cos I went to my carrier and they told me to upgrade to OS7 but they can't help me with that.

Since you are receiving these errors with multiple applications, I would suggest first backing up all your data using the BlackBerry® Desktop Software and then performing a clean reload of your BlackBerry® Device Software. BlackBerry 7 is not available for your BlackBerry Torch 9800 smartphone, however the clean reload should resolve any software issue that may be causing this. For further steps, please see the following KB articles.

Please test to make sure you no longer see these errors before restoring your backup file.
If that doesn't help, then the issue may be hardware related. In that case I recommend contacting your mobile network provider again for other options.

Error message when opening up whatsapp

I keep getting the following error message when I go into Whatsapp "Connect to iTunes to use push notifications. I have already connected to itunes, this error message don't go away at all.
This has only happened after updating to the new IOS software.

I would recommend the troubleshooting in this article to try and get the Push Notifications to 'take':

1. Update your device software
Update your device to the latest version of iOS.
2. Check for app updates
You can setup apps to update automatically in Settings > iTunes & App Store, but make sure that your apps are up to date:
Open the App Store and tap Updates. If updates are available, tap Update All.
If prompted, enter your iTunes Store account information. App Store will then download and install the app updates.
Note: Some apps may require a Wi-Fi connection to update.
3. Install another app from the App Store
If none of your user-installed apps will launch, there could be an issue with Apple ID authorization. Download and install an app that isn't already installed on your device to reset this information. You can also remove an app from your iOS device and download it again from the App Store or sync the app from your computer.Note: If you have installed apps using multiple Apple ID accounts, you may need to perform this step for each account.
4. Restart the app
If the issue affects only a single app, try closing just that app.
5. Restart your device
Turn the device off and on.
6. Reinstall the affected app
Remove the app from your device and reinstall it:
Tap and hold any app icon on the Home Screen until the icons start to wiggle and show a small "x" in the top-right corner of the app.
Tap the "x" in the corner of the app you want to delete.
Tap Delete to remove the app and all of its data from your device.
Press the Home button.
Go to the App Store.
Search for the app and then download it again.
Note: If it is a paid app, ensure you are using the iTunes account you purchased the app with originally. If it is not, you may be asked to purchase the app again. Learn more about downloading previously purchased items.
7. If the issue is still unresolved, contact the developer
If you continue to experience the issue, contact the developer of the app for further assistance:
Find the app in the App Store.
Open the app's page, tap Reviews, and then App Support.

IPhone 4S iOS8.1.1 error message when connecting to WhatsApp/Facebook/etc.

Hello I have seen similar messages but for earlier versions of iOS. It is really annoying to receive the following error message: Connect to iTunes to use notifications Push. I do not dare to "reinstall" my iPhone so is there a solution to this problem? Do I "restore iPhone? Sorry I am not a geek and I am a bit lost. I have never had problems with my iPhones and would like to see Apple react because I am sure I not the only one with this problem.
I have tried to close all notifications and then reinstall those I am interested in (like WhatsApp/Viber/FB and only some other but this does not work.

Hairpants: I have the exact same problem with my iPhone, but only on certain Apple TV's. YouTube (via Safari) and TED (app) both play at home fine, but I get the "error occurred loading this content" on the ATV at work. Very frustrating.
Winston: I wouldn't think an app wouldn't "block" AirPlay, but rather wouldn't build support into the app. But I am not an app developer, so I'm just guessing. Example: the new YouTube app only support audio over AirPlay, not video. You don't get an error on your ATV, it just doesn't push the video data.

Errors 3000-3999 (3004, 3013, 3014, 3018, 3164, 3194, and so on): Error codes in the 3000 range generally mean that iTunes cannot contact the update server (gs.apple.com) on ports 80 or 443.
Update to the latest version of iTunes.
Verify the computer's date and time are accurate.
Check that your security or firewall software is not interfering with ports 80 or 443, or with the server gs.apple.com.
Follow Troubleshooting security software. Often, uninstalling third-party security software will resolve these errors.
An entry in your hosts file may be redirecting requests to gs.apple.com (see "Unable to contact the iOS software update server gs.apple.com" above).
Internet proxy settings can cause this issue. If you are using a proxy, try without using one.
Test restoring while connected to a known-good network.
