Error opening admin console

Hi All, I am a newbie to Informatica but managed to install Informatica 9.0.1 along with Oracle Express edition 64 bit (My laptop has 64 bit OS) of my own by looking at various installation posts online. While clicked on admin console shortcut, it gives me below error This webpage is not available ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH Details section within webpage has below description. A secure connection cannot be established because this site uses an unsupported protocol.
Please help me in fixing this issue. Thanks in advance.

Hi All, I have multiple flat files which i need to load in a single table.I did that using indirect option at session level.But need to dig out on how to populate substring of header in name column in target table. i have two columns Id and Name. in all input file I have only one column 'id' with header like H|ABCD|Date. I need to populate target like below example. File 1 File2 H|ABCD|Date. H|EFGH|Date.1 42 5 3 6 Target tale: Id Name1 ABCD2 ABCD3 ABCD4 EFGH5 EFGH6 EFGH can anyone help on what should be the logic to get this data in a table in informatica.

How to open admin console in browser of 11gR2 ?

Hi all,
I have installed 11gR2 database. I unfortunately didnt not care about the port while installing as I thought 1521 will be the default port.But when I am trying to open the admin console using the url http://localhost:1521/em/ I am getting 404 error.
Kindly help me on the following:
1) Where can I find the port information
2) Is the url which I have typed is the correct url to open admin console(if 1521 is the port)

I am trying to install oracle database 11g R2 on windows xp machine. I am able to complete the installation process successfully but the problem I am facing is when I am trying to access em console.
1. Can you point be for logs where I can find error.
2. Any post installation steps needs to be done.
Error I am getting: Internal Error has occurred. Check the log file for details.

Cannot open admin console

Hi Folks,
We are trying to open the admin console and we cannot open it... the following message is showing in the error log :
[29/Mar/2004:12:34:21] warning (16579): Address directive ignored
[29/Mar/2004:12:34:40] security (16579): for host lab.test trying to GET /admin-serv/authenticate, admin40_host_ip_check reports: Unauthorized host ip=10.0.0.15, connection rejected.
I�ve checked the local.conf the authorized IP is the same, and I�ve done a ldapsearch to check the autorized ip to acces the admin console, also is the same.
Any help will be appreciated.

Hi Dinesh,
I had already tried with the IP address...but it was the same. However, I did figure out what was happening...there was a conflict due to the integrated server I had previously installed with JDeveloper Studio! I can continue using that server I guess...wont need a stand-alone.

Not able to open Admin console with other Administrator account other than "system"

I am trying to create new users and add them to "Administrator" and "Administrators"
so that they can access Admin console. I tried open up "http://localhost:7001/console"
and entered in this new id and password, but it did not allow me in. At the same
time if i enter "system" and "password" i was able to logon successfully.
Can some one please let me know what i am missing here? Do i have to update any
"Realm" files? And changes have to be made any other location?
My idea is to have 3 people in different sub teams to access console and not use
"system" user account.
Please let me know if you need any more information.

configuration issue. essentially, I want to create a user name dev1 that has

Unable to open admin console in either Ap server 9 PE or EE5SDK

I am new to Java, and have recently installed ap server 9PE, as well as EE5SDK on my Windows XP platform.
The problem is, I am unable to USE either program, because the admin console(s) show invalid username/password.
I know that I used my email address as the username for both of these, and I even know what I thought was the password, but I am totally locked out.
Is there anyway to reset all the passwords including the master, as well as the domain passwords to allow all the info to be reset? I would hate, at this point, try to remove both these apps from my drive, and attempt to reinstall, for I have no quarantees that the passwords will carry on with the reinstall.
I want to be able to access both 9PE (ap Server) as well as the Enterprise5SDK, but I am totally locked out, have no idea where the files are with the password info, and am basically, at this point dead in the water. I also downloaded/installed netbeans 6.1, that will open, but I need the two apps which I am locked out of to do any meaningful programming... HELP!!!!!!!

I am new to Java, and have recently installed ap server 9PE, as well as EE5SDK on my Windows XP platform.I don't know about the Sun App Srever, but it is now called GlassFish .... are you talking about it.
I also downloaded/installed netbeans 6.1, that will open.Have you downloaded the complete package of NetBeans 6.1, because if you have done so, then GlassFish would have been automatically got installed (check Tools>Servers in NetBeans). And for your information its default username is 'admin' and password is 'adminadmin' ;-)

Getting error in admin console when trying to expand web applications node

I get the folowing page as result when i try to expand the web applications node in application server admin console.
A "com.sun.enterprise.tools.guiframework.exception.FrameworkError" was caught. The message from the exception: "Unable to get View for ViewDescriptor 'webApplications'"
The root cause is "com.sun.enterprise.admin.common.exception.MBeanConfigException: Component not registered"

Hi Gautam,
If you are referring to old Tuxedo web admin console, I'm not sure what shape it is in as it has been effectively replaced by TSAM Plus. Few if any customers were using the web admin console and it had fallen behind in terms of more recent Tuxedo features. Most Tuxedo customers simply use the command line tools. Is there something specific you were looking for in what the web admin console provided?

Error while trying to open Admin console

Hi Experts,
I'm a little frustrated after a days work, I can't get my B1iSN interface running again.
It was running about 2 weeks ago, without a problem, we have some important intercompany processes for our customer there.
Now, when i want to open the interface, i get the "HTTP Status 404 - Servlet B1iXcellerator is not available" error.
Tomcat is running, SQL Server is running (tried to restart both, didn't help), Java is configured (as it already WAS running).
Only thing I know is that there were some changes in the SQL Server and SAP 8.8 PL 13 was installed. Do I have to take actions after that? The configs and properties are all set.
I searched through most of the threads on the forum, but it didn't help. I would rather like to avoid having to reinstall B1iSN, as there is some unsaved work, which we can't access due to the error.
We have a Windows 2008 Server, SQL 2008, SAP 8.8 PL 13 and B1iSN PL 13. And again: it was already running
I would really appreciate your help!

Not knowing what the changes to SQL Server were makes trying to solve the issue difficult as if it was working and all that has changed were the update to PL13 and changes to SQL ... it could be due to either. I have not heard any issues with the PL13 upgrade, but am checking.
If the issues are due to changes to SQL Server ... and we do not know what they are ... it may be impossible to diagnose and require and uninstall and re-install.

Hello, Sai! Can you give us some more info? Such as:
- Operating system
- Browser used
- Whether anything comes up in the output window
- Whether anything comes up in the log files (domain log, server log, etc.)
Some suggestions:
Did you wait a bit after starting? Perhaps it hadn't quite started yet (unlikely).
Do you have a firewall running? Perhaps it is blocking port 7001.
Does your hosts file resolve localhost to 127.0.0.1? You could just try http://127.0.0.1:7001 instead.
Make sure that you have Java enabled (although I think you would still get the login page even if you didn't have Java).
Try a different browser.

WLS 10.3 on Windows 2008: I configured one of my managed servers for SSL and I'm able to reach deployments via browser and the keystore/certificate chain I have setup. However, I'm getting the above error in Admin Console all over the place. I am unable to commit configuration changes without deleting the SSL managed server. The admin server is still HTTP via 7001. I'm not sure where to look to resolve this issue. Any ideas appreciated.

It seems like you did not update the trust store of your AdminServer. It acts as a ssl client of your managed server and cannot verify its identity certificate.

mmm, it could be CPU, it could be a network-related issue... are you using multicast or unicast?
can you reproduce the issue?
if yes, can you run "top" to verify the CPU usage,
and do a thread dump on the admin server?
or at that point the box is entirely unresponsive?
in that case, running a scripts which periodically does a thread dump, and running top to sample every 10 seconds, could help...

if u r a room owner of a room and u wanna administrate then collaboration role is sufficient.
what u wanna configure?
as far as i know it is not possible to change the default template available there .

However, I'm still getting errors from Admin Console
WarningAccess Denied+

Not sure where the problem is with? LDAP or ACL?

Can you check if your admin-server's server.xml (admin-server/config/server.xml) has the following settings?
