Error opening JSP files in Netweaver Developer Studio
Hello,
When I try to open a *.jsp file in the Netweaver Developer Studio, I get the following error:
The ordinal 233 could not be located in the dynamic link library SHDOCVW.dll
When I click on OK for a couple of times (same message), I get the option to open the file.
Then this message:
Invalid or corrup jar file (with a reference to the jsp).
I can however open files with java extensions. It is also not project related, all jsp files react in the same way.
I am currently investigating what MS Windows service packs have been installed recently.
Does anyone know what it means or how this can be solved?

The message freshed about every 20 seconds.
Another question, I used a iplanet web server as a proxy server with a
cluster of two weblogic servers pluged in, although I set
weblogic.properties to round-robin, however, when I run a fibonacci servlet,
it does not do the round-robin. It always go to one machine for a lot of
times. Any idea?
Thank you for your help.
Tom
May i presume that your cluster is configured on a shared file system?.
I have seen this problem only if you cluster is configured on different machines
and if the directory structure is not identical.
let us know..

I'm using WLS 5.1 SP8 on NT 4.0 and trying to setup a cluster. The cluster
starts fine except when I try to deploy a session bean that is marked as
clustered. I get an error about reading a jar file
(D:/weblogic/mycluster/server196/tmp_deployments/ejbjar1559.jar) that WLS
created when the server started. Every server is getting this error and I
tried setting up the same paths (D:\weblogic) but it doesn't matter. Any
ideas?

From previous posts I see this is a known bug. Is there a fix yet? btw, how
did a bug of this magnitude
get past QA. :(

Unable to open jsp file in Design mode
Hi,
I am unable to open jsp files in design mode, I am using eclipse Version: 3.6.1.
Please help.
Regards,
Ale HasanHi Ale,
Thank you for the additional information. Unfortunately, there does not seem to be anything unusual about your project based on your description. I'm surprised you don't see any processes listed in the process view while waiting for the page to open. I thought you might see something related to a queue manager job to "Manage Resource Event Jobs".
Are there any messages in the error.log? You can open a view to the error log from the menu option, "Window -> Show View -> Error Log". I'm curious if there are any messages about a process timing out, unable to reset some object within a certain time, or any exceptions logged.
If you change to another workspace with just a single JSF web project containing a smaller number of JSP, do you experience the same behavior?
Can you also try using a more recent release of OEPE to see if that helps? The 11.1.1.6.1 release is about a year old.

Kind regards,

need help!
Regards,
AmitAmit,
Have you extended your Admin console with wl-extensions?
Looks like your applicaiton is failing due to the dependency on a tag library.
The below error indicates that the classloader is unable to find the TableColumnTag tablibrary class in the classpath.
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/bea/console/taglib/html/TableColumnTag
Kindly check and register the dependent library to the weblogic container to resolve the issue.
Thanks,

Cannot open .jsp files from browser
Hi!
I cannot open .jsp files form the browser.(Some sample jsp files I downloaded open without any problem, only the ones I added, don't- they're in the same directory, with their java files in the web-inf folder.) I have jdk1.2.2,jswdk1.0.1,jsse1.0.1,jsdk2.1. Does the jswdk server support converting jsp to servlets? Also, what do I have to add to jdk classpath for my servlets to be invoked via jsdk? I am confused as to whether I on the jswdk server or the jsdk server for these files to work? The error I get on the server while opening the jsp file is -------

I received Multicast socket receive error when I tried to restart the weblogic cluster in our pre-prod box.
The error message I received lkie this:
Multicast socket receive error: java.lang.RuntimeException: I/O error opening JAR file from file:/vol01/sites/vinlkup/site/versionc/local_classes/VIN/DeliveryTypeLookupEJB.jar
Yuping,
What release of WLS w/ service pack are you using? Make sure, if you are using a non-shared file system, to have the same absolute paths to your application on your file systems.

Java.lang.RuntimeException : I/O error opening JAR file
Hi,
Cluster configuration : 2 NT boxes WLS5.1(SP6). On one m/c weblogic
is installed on drive C:\ and on another m/c weblogic is installed on drive D:\.
i.e. all jars are at two place m/c 1 : c:\weblogic\myserver\*.jar
m/c 2 : d:\weblogic \myserver\*.jar
When servers startup successfully, error is coming :
on the console of m/c 1 :
java.lang.RuntimeException : I/O error opening JAR file from
file:/d:/weblogic/myserver/eb_arn.jar
on the console of m/c 2 :
java.lang.RuntimeException : I/O error opening JAR file from
file:/c:/weblogic/myserver/eb_arn.jar
When both the weblgoic servers are installed on two machines and
on same drive(c:\), this error is not coming.
i.e. all jars are at two place m/c 1 : c:\weblogic\myserver\*.jar
m/c 2 : c:\weblogic \myserver\*.jar
Regards,
Jitendra Kumar.
Jitendra,
This looks like a bug. Please approach support.

Error opening fla file.
Hi,
I am a relative newcomer to the world of Flash, so I apologize if this issue is a bit mindless for the veterans.
I am working with Flash CS6 on a Macbook Pro and recently encountered a problem when trying to open a file. An error message pops up, saying 'there was an error opening the file...'. No further details are available.
Looking at the file information, there is still data there, as the size is about 300MB.
I've tried some amateur sleuthing online for a solution, mostly involving changing the .fla extentsion to .rar and repairing the file that way, but nothing I have tried has resolved the issue.
Am I essentially out of luck, or is there a reliable solution for this kind of problem?
Thanks for any help!
BootsWow, thanks for such a quick reply, kglad.
I had actually previously zipped and unzipped the file and ended up with a folder full of stuff that I didn't know what to do with. Again, this is where my amateur understanding comes into play.
In the unzipped folder, there are 'bin', 'library' and 'meta-inf' folders, as well as a 'DOMDocument.xml' file, a 'MobileSettings.xml' file, a 'PublishSettings.xml' file and finally a file called 'mimetype'.
Should I be encouraged by this?
I'm pretty clueless at this point about how I might proceed from here. I see that the 'library' folder contains all the sound files for the project (it's a soundboard), but is there a way to go from this point to recovering the project as it was before this issue came up? Or am I stuck with starting the project all over gain?
Thanks again for the help! -
Hi, I'm traying to start up a database in sqlplus on SuSE 8.2 and Ora9.2, I have the next error:

ORA-27037: unable to obtain file status

My password file is /opt/ora9/product/9.2/dbs/orapwmydb
How can I use my orapwmydb file?Hi Marco,
as far as I know, you have to use the REMOTE_LOGIN_PASSWORDFILE = SHARED option in your init...ora file.
In this case you have one password file for one or more databases. It can only have the entries for SYS and INTERAL.
I'm sorry to cannot answer your question of having different password files for different databases %-)

Error opening preferences file
When opening a pdf document in Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro, saved either locally or on the network, I receive the message "Error opening preferences file The file may be read-only, or another user may have it open. Please save the document with a different name or in a different folder." I've tried saving this file with a different name and I still receive this error. If I choose to open this document with Adobe Reader 9, I have no issues. Why would I be having this issue with Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro?
What release of System Update are you trying to install? What OS are you using ie, win 7, 8, 8.1?
Did you really mean IMPORT failed (not export)?
Are your running the install . exec from a Network drive?
Please look in C:\users\*your id*\appdata\local\temp for the msi install log and post 50 lines of the log around where the error occurred. -
