Error opening link to file from email message - Redirect Error

Here is on example of this problem:
I get an e-mail message with text with some links, when a click the text the browser opens and displays this message: Redirect Error
On the PlayBook, I copied the hyper link from the text on the e-mail message and pasted it on a word document and this was the result:

Reading the same e-mail massage on my desktop PC I did the same thing and this was the result:

On my desktop there is no problem and I’m redirected to the file but something is happening when a click that same link from de Playbook native mail.

They appear to be different links. But I was able to open the pdf file. I was not able to understand it because it is not my native language but it was from herbalist.

Error on opening links in Firefox from email in Thunderbird

Using Windows 7 sp1, 32 bit. My default browser is set to Firefox, and all http or https links from any program are opened in Firefox. There is no problem doing this from any program except from Thunderbird.
It's fine if Firefox is not already open, but when Firefox is already open and I click on a hyperlink in an email from within Thunderbird I get the message:
"Firefox is already running, but is not responding. The old Firefox process must be closed to open a new window."
I've seen some comments on this error message, but all of them see to relate to problems with Firefox. However, since all other programs are able to open hyperlinks in Firefox without any problem, it seems to me that the problem must be with Thunderbird and the way it interacts with Firefox.
Any help will be much appreciated. Thank you!

Tools menu (alt+T) > options > attachments > incoming.
Locate and delete any references to HTM, HTML or Firefox.
Restart Thunderbird and see if that helps.

I am unable to open downloaded files from email messages because these are saved as a .ashx file, not as the original file (e.g. .doc or .pdf)

How do i open an .rdf file from email and display in an ipad?

i have attached an .rdf file in ipad email, and it cannot open or view it. can someone help?

I don't think you will find on. I just looked, and the hit on the search was for a feed reader, that I think is not in the same context as your question.
My only suggestion would be to ask the send to send it in a different format, or from another computer, rename the file. I suspect that if you gave it a .txt extension you would be able to open it and read the elements.

NB - the "data" that is returned by these classes is the data as defined in an adobe form - it doesn't return the content of non-form PDF documents.
The PDF must be an interactive form ( although that doesn't restrict you to using the SAP process for creating the form is my understanding - but I could be wrong. )
Edit - I was wrong! ONLY PDF documents that have been created by the ADS can have data extracted using these classes. So unless you are using Adobe interactive forms - then you will get no value from this functionality - and if you're using AIF then you're probably just use the standard UI element

Safari opening linked .zip files directly from DVD instead of downloading

Dear all,
Safari opening linked .zip files directly from DVD (via Windows explorer) instead of downloading it tru browser click - it's working just fine in FF, Chrome IE. Is this a known issue? or something can be done by modifying browser setting/pref.
Expecting more advise on this.
Configurations: Windows XP
Safari: 5.1.7
Note: ensured there is no space in the file path, just linked the .zip file using href attribute!
Also tried with .xls, .doc insted of .zip same issue appearing.

appzapper & such are pretty flaky at removing things usefully, imo.
Use the uninstaller for speed download - http://www.yazsoft.com/products/speed-download/faqs/?how-to-un-install-speed-dow nload-properly
or get a hold of FindAnyFile or easyfind & search for Growl & Speeddownload & yazsoft - but from all I hear, the uninstaller works fine.
Failing that, Safari's settings plist file isn't in caches
Home/Library/Preferences/com.apple.safari.plist
is the place
& if you're still stuck, test & maybe download another browser using a New User Account.

Users had attached 10 PDF file in the work order attachment list and his supervisor is trying to open the PDF file from the work order attachment list and he is able to open 9 PDF files without any issue, but 1 PDF file is giving the error message as "Database error for <GET DATA FROM KPRO>" and then select ok, we are getting the below message.
Window cannot find u201CC/Documents and Settings/b2m/SaoworkDir/5015851 Vendor data sheets B&P 2010 SDown XXX .PDFu2019. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. To search for a file, click the start button, and then click serch.
Looks like this particular file is not transferring to the SAP work directory.
Could you please check and suggest us as to how to fix it.

We verified your OSS notes it's not relevant to us Because our issue is while opening the PDF aatchement it is not transferring to my SAP Work Directory because of that reason we are getting the KPRO error. When I'm opening the other PDF files it's transferring to my SAP Work Directory and it's automatically open without any issue.

Camera raw won't open my raw files from bridge. Mac user, camera, Nikon D800, latest camera raw update is installed. Help!!

I don't get a photo preview in bridge of my raw files, just the NEF file thing. Usually the problem with a newer Nikon camera is that the NEF files have been transferred or viewed with obsolete Nikon software, like Nikon Transfer for View NX, and those change something in the header of the raw file that makes it unrecognizable to Adobe products.
For new images, the solution is to either stop using Nikon products to transfer and view your files or update your Nikon products to be as new as your camera.

Hi,
The HOST built-in does not return any error or message back to the Form.
You will have to use some other means to first find out whether the file exists or not. E.g. you could use TEXT_IO.FOPEN to open the file in Read mode. If the files is not found the handle returned will be null, and that will be condition you have to process to show a message or pop an alert.
Make sure you close the file with FCLOSE, irrespective of whether the file is found or not, before you open the File for viewing.

Opening Fireworks .png file from Dreamweaver

Anybody have problems with the connectivity between Fireworks
and Dreamweaver? I have a Retail version of Macromedia Studio 8.
I've been designing a new site and noticed that my fireworks .png
file is not updating from my changes in Dreamweaver (probably
because I cannot open from the edit button in Dreamweaver.) When I
try to open the .png file from the Edit button at the bottom of the
Properties Panel in Dreamweaver it gives me an Error Message :
Unable to Launch. Please be sure that the application exists and
that there is enough memory.
Obviously the only benefit of Macromedia suite is the
connectivity. Well, since I don't have it it is sucking. Was it a
misinstallation on my part? Anybody know what's happening here or
how to fix?

And what version of Photoshop are you using? On what OS version?
Most likely this is a bug in the OS or server software that just shows up because of the asynchronous file IO used by Photoshop (to improve performance).

Besides attaching the file to an email yourself, you can use file syncing and the Send Link feature to email a link to your customer.
File syncing is built into the Creative Cloud desktop application that you use to download and install Adobe desktop applications. Files saved to the Creative Cloud Files folder on your computer are synced up to a cloud file storage. From the Files page in a browser at https://creative.adobe.com/files you can used the Send Link feature.
The email will be sent and received more quickly since no file is attached, and your customer can download the file from the url you share.
