(Error) ORA-00001: unique constraint (WHSE_DBA.PK_DELPHI_TRANS_FACT) violat

I have a stored proc which runs every night. The stored proc is giving a unique constraint violation.
(Error) ORA-00001: unique constraint (WHSE_DBA.PK_DELPHI_TRANS_FACT) violated.
Any idea about how to debug this.

I want to create an error table on the stored proc shown below. I know I have to add something in the exceptions. Can anyone give me the commands and where to add it.

Hi community,
I got an awful application import error.
ORA-20001: GET_BLOCK Error. ORA-20001: GET_STMT error. ORA-20001: Execution of the statement was unsuccessful. Error installing application.What did I do?
Developed some in my test environment (APP ID 381) and made a normal export like 100 times before. When I tried to import that application in APP ID 380 the error occurred.
More information:
Both applications are in the same workspace.
APEX 3.1.2
Oracle XE
I tried a bit around:
Import in another workspace > same error
Restart OAS try to import> same error
Deletion of APP 380 and the try to import > same error
Import of an older version > successfully no errors
Try to make a new export of APP ID 381 > same error on import
Don't want to delete app 381! :O
Seems like something inside of the application/export is wrong.

• ORA-00001 - unique constraint violation when upgrading 10g EUL

Hi,
I am trying to upgrade my Discoverer 4i to Discoverer 10g.
When I log into 10g, it prompts me to upgrade the EUL. After making the right back up of my 4i EUL, I continue with the upgrade.
During the upgrade, I am hit with this error:
Database error: ORA-00001 unique constraint (EUL_HRMS.EUL5_FOL_UK_1) violated.
I understand that this happens when user tries to insert an already existing value into a column defined as unique. However, I am not sure on how to resolve it.
Can anyone please advice.
Thanks in advance!

Is it possible you kept the index when disabling the primary key?

Table created.
YAS@11G>alter table t add constraint PK_T primary key(object_id);

Hi everybody
I can't understand why my data pump import execution with parameter TABLE_EXISTS_ACTION=TRUNCATE returned ORA-00001 (unique constraint violation), while importing schema tables from a remote database where the source tables have the same unique constraints as the corresponding ones on the target database.

Bye Alessandro

I forgot to read the last two lines of the documentation about TABLE_EXISTS_ACTION where it says:
"TRUNCATE cannot be used on clustered tables or over network links."
So it seems that it ignored the clause for the use of NETWORK_LINK and unreasonably opted for an APPEND action instead of throwing an error to highlight the conflicting parameters in the used configuration.
Bye Alessandro

Hi Ritam,
For such issues, can you please create a new thread or directly email the author rather than dragging back up a very old thread, it is unlikely that the resolution would be the same as the database/application/etc releases would most probably be very different.
For now I will close this thread as unanswered.

Have you tried searching Metalink? A unique constraint violation on a SYS table by MMON will almost certainly require Oracle Support's assistance to resolve. Something rather deep inside Oracle has done something wrrong.

• Error import 4.1.1 ORA-00001: unique constraint (FLOWS_030100.WWV_FLOW_FLOW

In 4.1.0 and 4.1.1 (on APEX.ORACLE.COM also) when importing and installing an application, we have the following error :
ORA-20001: GET_BLOCK Error. ORA-20001: GET_STMT error. ORA-20001: Execution of the statement was unsuccessful. ORA-00001: unique constraint (FLOWS_030100.WWV_FLOW_FLOW_PK) violated
This is the same error as in :
Import error: ORA-00001:unique constraint (FLOWS_030100.WWV_FLOW_FLOW_PK)
(opened a new thread because the other one is marked as answered)
Solution :
- Check the export file and check the wwv_flow_api.create_flow parameters. In our case we saw that p_vpd had a lot of text.
So here is what we did :
- Remove text from Security / Database Session / Initialization PL/SQL Code (VPD)
- export application
- import application
- put text back in Security.
(This VPD code will be implemented in a package so the problem should go away.)
But this seems to be a problem with a parameter being too long in the wwv_flow_api.create_flow procedure.
Francis.

Hi
I am getting same error while importing shared component file.
ORA-20001: GET_BLOCK Error. ORA-20001: Execution of the statement was unsuccessful. ORA-00001: unique constraint (APEX_030200.WWV_FLOW_MENU_TEMP_IDX2) violated
*<pre>begin begin*
wwv_flow_api.create_menu_template ( p_id=&gt; 94480251996632657 + wwv_flow_api.g_id_offset,
p_flow_id=&gt; wwv_flow.g_flow_id, p_name=&gt;'Breadcrumb Menu', p_before_first=&gt;'', p_current_page_option=&gt;'&lt;a href=&quot;#LINK#&quot; class=&quot;t20Current&quot;&gt;#
If this is because of long parameter then how to find which parameter is too long?

Thanks
Ray

hi,
can you post the table structure?
I suspect that ENTRYID has lesser length than the actual value and in effect the value has been truncated for some reason.
The primary key value is too long, maybe creating a surrogate key would help.

Hi,
You can create rule for truncate using below:
BEGIN
DBMS_RULE_ADM.CREATE_RULE(
rule_name => 'TRUNCATE_RULE',
condition => '(:ddl.get_object_owner() = ''HR'' AND ' ||
':ddl.get_object_name() = ''TEST'') AND ' ||
':ddl.get_command_type() = ''TRUNCATE TABLE'' ');
END;

Hi Guru's,
I am following the below steps for OIM 11.1.2.1 with SOA 11.1.1.7 Installation and facing below error during step "Configure Database Security Store for OIM Domain".
Installed Database 11.2.0.3
Installed RCU (Here I used two versions.
RCU 11.1.2 - Used IDAM prefix for (Metadata Services, OPSS, OIM)
RCU 11.1.1.7 - Used SOA prefix for(Metadata Services,SOA Infrastructure, User Messaging service)
Installed JDK 7 (Java 1.7)
Installed WL 10.3.6 (MW_HOME-/u01/Middleware/fmw, WL_HOME=/u01/Middleware/fmw/wlserver_10.3)
Installed FMW 11.1.2.1 for OIM. (ORACLE_HOME=Oracle_IDM1)
Installed FMW 11.1.1.7 for SOA (ORACLE_HOME=Oracle_SOA1)
WL Domain creation. (Domain Name – idam_domain1)
Configure Database Security Store for OIM Domain.
Internal Exception: java.sql.SQLIntegrityConstraintViolationException: ORA-00001: unique constraint (IDAM_OPSS.IDX_JPS_RDN_PDN) violated
Also followed the below bug solution, but issue still occurs.
Bug 16690836 : CONFIGURE DATABASE SECURITY STORE (CONFIGURESECURITYSTORE.PY) SCRIPT IS FAILING
@ 1. Delete the Schemas using RCU.
@ 2. Recreate the OAM schemas.
@ 3. Reinstall the WLS and OAM software.
@ 4. Run config.sh to create a new domain.
@ 5. Run setDomainEnv.sh from user_projects/domains/<Domain_name>/bin
@ 6. Run the configureSecurityStore.py from same window.
Not sure if anyone tried with different steps that fixed the issue? Could you please help.
Thanks
VG

Hi Gurus, I got the solution from Oracle. SOA 11.1.1.7.0 shouldn't be used with Identity Management 11.1.2.1.0(11GR1-PS1) version. Identity Management 11.1.2.1.0(11GR1-PS1) is bundled with SOA 11.1.1.6.0. When used this SOA version, Installation went smooth. Thanks VG

Steps to recreate my error:
1. Copy and Edit... the "Dynamic List Generic" Fragment.
2. Properties
a. Name: IGBU Training Request
b. ID: IGBUTrainingRequest
c. Language: idoc
d. Type: dynamiclist
e. Library Name: SS_FRAGMENTS_EX...
3. I only changed the Default Value of my ssQueryText Parameter (this is my first Fragment that I'm creating). I am going to have another Form Fragment where consultants can request training classes by filling out some fields, but first I need to make sure my second Fragment will show that content. The Default Value for my ssQueryText Parameter is: (dDocTitle <contains> `Training Request`) <AND> (xWebsites <contains> `igbu`) <AND> (xWebsiteSection <contains> `igbu:6749`). When I run that query in CS, I see 2 records.
4. I hit the "Save" button, and "New..." to create a new Fragment Library.
5. When the "Assign Info Form" appears, I fill out the following:
a. Type: SystemObject - any component of the Web site (fragments, .css, .jsp, etc.)
b. Title: IGBU Training Request List Fragment
c. Author: [email protected]
d. Security Group: Public
e. Account: EMPL/IGBU/CSLT
f. Web Sites: IGBU (igbu)
g. ConsumptionServer: MYO
6. I click the "Assign Info" button.
7. I receive the error above.
I have tried filling in a value for Content ID and leaving it blank when completing the form, thinking that I should let CS assign a CNT***** ID for me, but that did not help.
Thanks,
Chad

I was able to fill out the "Assign Info Form" and fill out the fields in #5

Hi mikeyc7m,
I'm trying to resolve this issue, but I can't tell what to correct...I'm at a complete loss. The Assign Info Form has required fields (red, with asterisks), and I'm filling in values for each of those. Do you have any idea where I can go to verify against a database config setting, or do you have any other ideas?
Thanks,
Chad
