Error ORA-0942 during navigation

I am getting an error an table not found error (ORA-00942) when navigating through Raptor.
I am only moving from one pane to another but I get the error everytime the pane refreshes.
I don't know what table it is looking for, so any help would be appreciated.
Ian

I experienced the same problem after attempting to display the defintion for a Object Type. I am connecting to a 9.2.0.5 instances and the objects are another users.
It would be really nice if there was a way to run on debug output that would record SQL being used by Raptor itself. I can do this now by using session tracing, but then I have to go find trace file, process it, etc.
Presuming Raptor is using Log4J or something similar, it seems like turning on the appropriate logging and sending it to a file or window would be fairly easy and most useful.

    To answer my own question, while computer is turned off, (after taking anti-static precautions) plug power to sata drive.
    Connect sata data cable to M/board, do not connect sata data cable to drive.
    Enable sata 1 & 2 in bios, boot to windows.
    Drivers are installed for device.
    Then carefully plug sata data cable into sata drive.
    Windows detects new hardware.
    Enter Disk Management & partition/format to your hearts content.
    Thanks to those who had a look at my post.  Hope this helps someone else.

    Can anyone explain me why is it so?

    Thanks for giving reply..
    I tried to search it in the Metalink but did not found any related info. Can you please send me the links so that I can go through it...
    I think It is giving the Error because of using 'Constraint' option in the Dashboard prompt. If I uncheck the Constraint option able to navigate without any error. But need to implement the 'Constraint' behavior..:(..

  • Error ORA-01460 warning ORA-01461 during running a mapping with parameters

    Oracle 10g release2(10.2.0.1.0), OWB 10.2.0.1.31, Workflow server 2.6.4
    I have a simple process flow ( start -> mapping -> end).
    The mapping consists of 4 input groups(3 ordinary tables<INGRP1, INGRP2, INGRP3> and 1 mapping input parameter operator <INGRP4>), a joiner, a filter, an expression operator and 1 output group.
    I want to use two variables in join condition, so I bound two mapping input parameters(<INGRP4.SRC_SYS_CDE> and <INGRP4.ADMIN_ORG_NUM>) with two parameters of the process flow's start activity.
    Those two mapping input parameters are of type char, one is 4-char long and the other is 2-char long. So I set both of the two parameters of the start activity as String, one as 08, another as 7504.
    My join condition is:
    INGRP1.ORGIDT = INGRP2.SOURCEORGANIZATIONNO AND
    INGRP2.SOURCESYSTEMCODE = INGRP4.SRC_SYS_CDE AND
    INGRP2.ADMINORGANIZATIONNO = INGRP4.ADMIN_ORG_NUM AND
    INGRP1.CURCDE = INGRP3.NUM(+)
    There are no errors and warnings in validation, generation and deployment process, but when I run the process flow, it always finishes blankly(zero insert) with no error and warning messages. It should insert more than 20,000 rows.
    When I run the mapping and set the parameters 08 and 7504 at the parameter prompt, then start, the following error and warning occurs.
    Error ORA-01460: unimplemented or unreasonable conversion requested
    Warning ORA-01461: can bind a LONG value only for insert into a LONG column
    So what's the problem? How can I fix it?

    The problem was mapping input parameter type.
    VARCHAR2-type mapping input parameter works with String-type PF parameter. But CHAR-type won't.

    More information:
    Using SQL Developer, I checked the view SYS.KU$_IOTABLE_VIEW referred to in the error message, and it does indeed report a problem with that view. The following code is the definition of that view. I have no idea what it's supposed to be doing, because it was part of the default installation. I certainly didn't write it. I did, however, execute the 'Test Syntax' button (on the Edit View screen), and the result was this error message:

    The SQL syntax is valid, however the query is invalid or uses functionality that is not supported.

    Hi,
    You should also consider looking at the pl/sql implementations/apis for data mining.
    There is more data mining functionality within the pl/sql domain and that is defintely where the emphasis will be going forward.
    To gain appreciation for the pl/sql approach you can do the following:
    1) Using Data Miner Classic, it provides an option to generate pl/sql code to replicate a mining activity.
    2) Using Data Miner Workflow, you can generate the sql for transformations.
    We will be coming out with broader sql script generation for workflows in future releases.
    3) Oracle Data Mining has sample code available on OTN.
    THanks,Mark
