Error page when modifying a view

Hello,
i have a problem that seems to come from nowhere when i try to add or modify an element (label, inputfield...) in a view :
the view window displays an error html page saying that the program can't display the web page.
If i close the view and open it again, the modifications i've done appear but then again, if i try to change anything, the error page is displayed.
Does anybody have a clue of howw to solve this ?

Common issues for this :
1. Once you install crystall add on ,you need to go to Crystal report Administration >Account setup .
Put on the user name and password and click on creating ext tables
Try then running the report .
If not the case ,
make sure you install runtime .
You need :
1.Crystal report basic from SAP download -(Not necessary if you want only report viewer >
2.You need to have crystal integration addon (I think service pack is SP1)
3.Make sure you have runtime install
When you are installing ,make sure you restart your PC before you do or remove temporary file s

Error message when attempting to view the video.

When attempting to watch a video posted to Facebook or on a forum, I get an error message when attempting to view the video. "An error occurred while processing your request. Reference #50.8dd8d3d1.1354457866.1cac8e50". I'm able to view videos via YouTube. The error seems to occur when video are embedded in a post/thread.

I was hoping someone could provide some help.

Error occurred when modifying array

I have recently built a new machine with the stuff listed in my profile. I have trawled these formums but have not found any with the specific problem- given that i have not read every thing written perhaps some one can shed some light onto this problem.
I have a single Seagate Barracuda 120GB SATA drive that is recognised by the Promise BIOS after you press F6 (you get a "no Array defined" error and F6 to setup array or ESC to continue boot.
Once in the Bios you are offered (correctly) the performance option and all the seagates parameters are recognised correctly. This is true in option 1 auto and 3 define array. So you select Ctrl Y to build your array and get
"Error occurred when modifying array. System is going to Reboot ! press any key to reboot"
I don't know where to begin on this. the machine has no OS on it as I hoped to install XP onto this drive and have Mandrake on the 4GB.
Any ideas anyone.

I have lots of cooling and a 400W PSU. :]

400w psu does not say ANYTHING.
for example an enermax 350w has MUCH more power than a q-tec 550w.
post amps on the 3.3v 5v and 12v rails on the psu.
should be written on a label on the psu.
k7n2 is VERY picky about memory and i dont think your memory is approved nforce2 memory.
there is a thread about memory at the top of this forum.
try other memory if you have it.
could also try http://www.memtest86.org
its a mem test program.
try to remove zip.
have seen alot of people having strange problem due to a zip drive.

Can see list of old emails, but error message when trying to view message.

Ok, after a Mail crash (10.4.1), there were no accounts listed and of course no old emails, sent or in the inbox, were visible.
We reentered all the account info, as if we were starting anew, and now we are able to see the list of all old emails in the inbox and sent mailbox, but when we click on any message before the crash, we get this error message:
The message from David Crandon, ([email protected]), concerning (the subject of the email), has not been downloaded from the server. You need to take the account online in order to download it.
Now, obviously, the accounts are online because we can send and receive new emails with no problem, and of course, the old emails aren't going to be on the server anymore.
Can anyone help?

Well, didn't work. I spent an hour and a half just trying to get my 76yr old uncle to back able to drag and drop into the correct folder, and then trying to find the file when he didn't....!
Anyway, it didn't work. After removing the Envelope Index file, and reimporting the messages, everything was the same. He could still see all his old emails in the list in Mail, but got the same error message when trying to view them.
Then, we rebuilt the inbox, and now none of his old messages are visible! However, they are still on the computer.
All his old emails are ".emlx" files and if we click directly on one of them, then Mail will launch and display the message properly in it's own window. But again, we get the above error message if we try to view it by selecting it from the message list in mail.
One interesting thing...in the Library->Mail folder their are two folders, "Mailboxes" and "Mailboxes.mbox". Both at the same level. It's the Mailboxes.mbox folder that has all his old emails. Although all the old ones have the suffix ".elmx". In the Mailboxes folder are all the new emails since we reset all the prefs in Mail after the crash a couple of days ago.
Anymore help please to get mail to recognize all these old emails?

Recieved error '-2147467259 when trying to view all/any of my slide shows

How do I fix this error/problem. Unable to view or finish slide shows I have been working on.

JHS 10.1.3 Internal Server Error - Page when a view raises an exception

I have a view with some logic (based on a table function) and created: entity object, view object and (jhs) an advanced search page. When the view raises an exception an "500 Internal Server Error"-page is showed, but I expected the error would be showed in de messages-component.
I created a test case: a view on employees-table with in the select a function that raises an exception when last_name starts with "L". On this view an entity obejct, a view object and application module.
I generated with JHS a page : layout: table and only advanced search.
The first time the page is loaded (with auto query) some records are showed and the exception is showed as expected in the message-component. When I do a search (without criteria) the "500 Internal Server Error" pages is showed.
When I create manual a search page, the behavior is as expected.

Frames causing an Error on Page when compiled and viewed

First off, I am using RoboHelp 10 and WebHelp.
I am trying to click on a certain Topic in the ToC, and have it open in the window with two frames.I get an Error on Page when I click the link, but it seems to load up the page properly, as I can't see anything wrong with it.
I tried this with a new project, thinking that I may have something in my large project that was causing this, but it also appears to happen on a brand new project. So my conclusion is that I am doing something that RoboHelp doesn't like.
If I delete the line of code, noted in the Error on Page, from the compiled html from the SSL folder, there is no error.
I also tried to do this with Framesets inside of RoboHelp, but I got the same results.
Does anyone have any thoughts or solutions that I might be able to implement? I would like to be able to get rid of the error without having to edit the html after compiling, but if that is my only option, I guess I'll have to do it.

Hi there
It could simply be that the browser isn't exactly expecting images to be the source of the iFrame. Perhaps try creating an HTML page for each image and making sure the image is the only thing on the HTML page. Then point the iFrame to those pages.

ERROR: Page is modified since you opened it!!

Hi All,
I have inserted sharepoint 'view' in page and in another page i have called that page using ajax call with custom filter vales, so the view has been displayed without any problem.
Now the problem is when i click the column name in the 'view' to 'sort' or 'filter' the page refreshes and throws the "ERROR:The page is modified since you opened it". I have tried this solution

Error: This Page has been modified since you opened it. You must open the page again.
Solution: If this is continually happening while editing a page using the browser the page may be detached from the page layout. Open SPD and reattach the page to its page layout.
Also check this if you have set the PostBackUrl of a LinkButton to the DefaultViewUrl of a list.
Solution: Using a HyperLink and setting the NavigateUrl to the DefaultViewUrl resolved the problem.

Error page when trying to open error page

Hi,
When trying to open "Email Marketing" in the Admin menu or "Setup Email" at the Campaign page I get always the same error.
It is just a blank page with the following text;
Error Page
You are not authorized to view this page.

It is completely different from the standard error of OCOD. The user has full access to everything so I don't think that's the problem.

Support is available to all licensed CRM On Demand customers. The feedback I received that this issue has been seen before and it could be a EMOD provisioning issue. A service request should be logged.

Displaying error page when not entitled to use the portal

Hi,
We are using BEA Portal 8.1 and would like to display an error page to a user
who is authenticated but not entitled to view any of the portal resources. Does
anyone know how to do this?
Here are more details:
Users are authenticated by Netegrity Siteminder when they logon to the LAN. An
authenticated user may or may not be entitled to use the portal site depending
on attributes passed in the header by netegrity. These attributes values are stored
as user profile properties. Visitor entitlements have been created based on these
properties and pages/portlets are then entitled through these visitor entitlement
roles.
If a user is not a member of any roles, then they should be redirected to a page
indicating that they do not have permission to access the portal. Howe can this
be implemented?

Now I can enter the collaborate function. However, everytime when I tried to send it to myself (for test purpose) I got another error message "You need to enter a valid emaill address". I saw someone else on this forum has met the same problem. Do you have any suggestion on what is the possible reason for this to happen?

I Always end up at an error page when I test my design!

Ladies and gentle men of the forum, does any one knows how I could fix this problem that I am having with the IIS server.
When I enter http://localhost it will take me to the home page but when I open my web site, which I designed with Dreamweaver, and test the site to see how it will function I will end up at an error page showing message below the line.
I also created site and testing server. Does any know how I could correct this problem so I could work safely? I am also using SQL server for database. If there any one have any idea on what I should do please contact me.

Isn't http://localhost your on premises server? I wonder if you've actually uploaded your site to the www.? A local host would be your build database and where you upload from, no? You should have a database on the internet at a secure server consisting of: Host; User ID; Password; Directory. Then, you upload to that server and then it's just a matter of accessing and testing the site via your URL. Otherwise, you can always test away by accessing the localhost database somewhere on your premises. This is how I see it. If you are getting that error message, it means the database has moved and Dream can't find it. Bummer, because when you do find it you will have to re-establish your links ( I think ).

Solved. Go to the App Store and grab a free app. This forces you to sign in again. Then go to the downloads section of the iTunes Store and you will have access to previously purchased songs etc...

Error message when trying to view PDF files online

When attempting to view pdf files I get the following error message:
There is a problem with adobe acrobat/reader. If it is running, please exit and try again. (507:507) Per instructions found in the forum, I have reinstalled and made sure that the box for viewing pdfs online is checked. I am still getting the error message.

Please let me know the following:
1. The version of Adobe Reader on your system. You can get the same by clicking on Help > About Adobe Reader.
2. The OS you are working on.
3. The browser being used to render the PDF.
