  • OSB download 250 MG file results in error Error parsing XML: {err}FORG0005

    Hi,
    Using OSB 11.1.1.5. I have service to download files from Oracle ECM. Running into an issue where the file size is over 250 MB service is failing. Giving me an error
    OSB Replace action failed updating variable "body": Error parsing XML: {err}FORG0005: expected exactly one item, got 0 items
    I have service callout to get the binary content of the file and it's taking over 5 minutes and then this error. I also set Read Timeout and Connection Timeout to 20 seconds at the business service level
    but looks like it's not taking that timeout values and still waiting over 5 minutes before it dies. My JTA Timeout is set to 12 minutes. After service callout I have a log to write the output but it's not even getting there and throwing that error above
    How can I trap that kind of errors. How can I set timeout at service level i.e. if after 1 minute if the file is still downloading close the connection etc.
    I don't want to have some many open threads in the back ground as this service is being called in a loop to download files. Smaller files like 30 MG downloads fine but the larger ones are not.
    I have a error hndler at the root level but the error is not trapped there either. Looks like system errors are not getting trapped.
    So Just wondering if OSB is suitable to download that huge files.
    Thanks

  • "Error parsing MPEG Metadata file.

    I have been using Encore for about 4 years: 1.5 -> 2.
    Recently I have had problems with projects exported as an avi file from Premier 2 and used in a simple menu and timeline in Encore 2. Typically projects were about an hour long. Chapter points were added in Encore automatically every 3 mins for general navigation assistance. I checked the project was OK and pressed Build. After watching the video transcoding progress bar creep to 100%, the error message appears immediately the process appears to have completed - "Error parsing MPEG Metadata file. Deleting or renaming filename.m2v.xmpses" will allow you to import, but any markers will be lost". On the previous occasion I went back to the assets, highlighted the avi file and transcoded it manually (automatically). No error message. I then built and burned the DVD.
    I have sometimes cured problems by removing any info from the final chapter point - delete the visible info. This may have just solved this last problem despite the initial build being reported as being free of problems. Following the first problem I rechecked and was told there was a problem with the final chapter point. I deleted the chapter point info and it has built and burned satisfactorily.
    Two questions.
    What is causing this problem. I have burned lots of DVDs over the years with Encore. Is the use of chapter points the cause of the problem. There have been quite a lot of reports of this in other (Matrox) forums. I am using Matrox RTX100. How can I prevent this huge waste of time - a build may take me a couple of hours.
    Is it better to export the Premier Pro2 timeline as an avi and use Encore for the transcoding, or is it better to export a trancoded file from Premier directly and just include this in the Encore project. If yes, which format should I export it in. I have the Premier and Matrox transcoding options.
    Roger

    Not sure if this is causing the error, but since version 2 Encore automatically adds a chapter point on the last available GOP. It could be that the last of your 3 minute chapter markers is closer to this final chapter point than 0.4 seconds. The DVD-Video specification requires chapter points to be at least 0.4 seconds apart.

  • Error Parsing MPEG metadata file (repeatedly!)

    Hello, I am getting the error message "Error parsing MPEG Metadata file. deleting or renaming <pathname>\cache\temp_transcodes\ss_aJstrm_5\ss_AJstrm_v5.m2v.xmpses" will allow you to import, but any markers will be lost". <br /><br />I have a fairly simple DVD (I think) ..one menu (PAL_Projector-MENU) and 9 slideshows of JPEG images. I start to build a DVD or DVD Folder (tried both). I get "no errors detected" when I do a Project check.<br /><br />I keep cycling through these error messages hoping I am eventually going to get to the end. I delete the files as it suggests, and restart after it forces a save. I have gone round the cycle about 10 times - not sure when it's likley to end.<br /><br />Help anyone?<br /><br />XP Pro SP2, Pentium 4 CPU 3.00 GHz, 2GB RAM. <br /><br />Thanks<br />Mark

    M,
    Like I said, i don't use encore for slideshows, so I can't really give expert advice on this one. However I do 90% of my video productions with adobe software and 10% with pinnacle. I have had WAY too many issues burning DVD's and Playback issues and rendering issues with pinnacle, however their music video/slide show automation is by far the best out there. Aside from software we'll get back on topic. I would recommend starting a whole new slideshow from scratch. Create a new project, import new photos, etc. Start with the basics to do your trial and error. Don't use a menu, don't loop anything. Just import, set your title button to the first picture, and set the end action to stop. Then try to burn, however instead of wasting discs, try writing an image file, or even just build the dvd folders. Other than that, I'm not too sure what direction to head, but start basic and trial and error everything from that point. If you have msn you can contact me at [email protected] and maybe i can further assist you. Either way, let me know how you make out.

  • Error in XML Publisher File Reporting

    Hi,
    I am getting following error on XML publisher report.
    Error generating report output : (235,2309) PSXP_RPTDEFNMANA GER.ReportDefn.OnExecute Name :ProcessReport PCPC: 97120 Statement:2012 Called from:APP_Engine.Repor t.GBL.default.1900-01-01.Step0 1.OnExecute Statement:8
    Not sure why this is erroring out. I have verified all the data which is to be reported and it looks fine. The .XML file is generated correctly and reporting seems to be an issue.
    Appriciate your inputs if you have faced similar issue.

    If you are using an RTF template, have you validated the report template in the Microsoft Word XML/BI Publisher tool? Does the preview work or does it throw the same error?

  • Parse XML Schema File?

    Dear Sun Developer Network,
    I suppose maybe I should start at the beginning.
    Can anyone outline the first few steps involved in parsing an XML schema file into a traversable data structure in Java?
    I'd like to get a get a discussion started here about this, because I have some questions about the process as I currently understand it, and the more advanced (i'm supposing they're more advanced) questions that I've been asking in the past have gone completely unanswered in this forum. So perhaps, starting from the beginning, and working through to the difficulties I'm encountering would be a better approach to solving those issues.
    Thank you,
    Nels

    >
    Many thanks for your reply! My next question is,
    s, if parsing an XML schema file can be done with a
    SAX or dom parser, then why has Sun bothered to
    develop the JAXB api? What is the difference?
    Hi Nels,
    SAX and DOM are technologies for parsing and JAXB is a technology for databinding. They are 2 different technologies.
    Parsing gives you acess to raw xml
    DataBinding does the parsing and goes one step ahed and loads the data from xml to java objects. It is a higher level of abstraction over parsing
    schema is a specification which helps to define the rules for a valid xml document. It also happens to be xml. DTD is a kind of limited schema which is non xml.
    hope you got the diffrence.
    ps: did you try the -J-Xmx switch with javac to resolve yhe OutOfMemory exception I suggested in your previous post

You need to wrap around the input stream something that can decode the HTTP MIME stuff and let you get at the XML itself, i.e., something like: com.orielly.servlet.multipart.MultipartParser (Apache has a similar 'file upload servlet).

  • Error parsing XML file

    Hi Everyone:
    When I wrote a java class to parse an XML file,
    I got this strange error:
    "Unconvertible UTF-8 character beginning with 0x97" (line number may be too low)."
    I am using the XMLReaderImpl provided by appache, here is how i wrap it
    String READER = "org.apache.crimson.parser.XMLReaderImpl"
    XMLReader reader = XMLReaderFactory.createXMLReader(READER)
    reader.parse(xmlFile);
    now I copied and paste my xmlfile from Word doc to notepad, and then rename it as an XML file, does this have anything to do with the error i am getting, please let me know,,
    Thanks,

    Okay...I am replying my own thread..this is odd...
    but i found the solution to it...
    if you are editing your xml in a notepad or other text editor, remember to change the encoding from ansi to utf when you save it. That is all you need to do.
    You don't actually need to specify the encoding scheme in your xml doc, it is utf by default...hope this helps, so someone else won't run into the same problem
    cheers, everybody

  • SaxParser error  parsing xml encoded string

    I'm trying to parse an XML string with Java's SaxParser. The program
    fails at the end of an element or at the beginning of a new element.
    Is my XML string okay?
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"
    ?><DTYPE>OVL</DTYPE><DTYPE>IMG</DTYPE>. . .
    If fails after </DTYPE> and before the next <DTYPE>
    The Sax Parser works fine on files.
    Here is the code I use to send the string to the parser :
    // Parse the input
    SAXParser saxParser = factory.newSAXParser();
    InputStream is = new ByteArrayInputStream(stringToParse.getBytes());
    saxParser.parse( is, handler );
    Here is the error message I get :

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!
    Thank you!

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?><DTYPE>IMG</DTYPE><DTYPE>REF</DTYPE>Above is a short XML string that causes the problem.
    It's all one line.
    I also tried adding System.getProperty("line.separator") add the
    end of each tag so I get :
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>
    <DTYPE>IMG</DTYPE>
    <DTYPE>REF</DTYPE>But same error. It still crashes after the first <DTYPE></DTYPE> tag.
    Any help greatly appreciated!
